Fifty Year’s Worth (chapter 2 preview)

Thank you to all those who have sent me their support for this story I wrote for MoreStories2SaveLives - Summer 2018 Collection.

Here is a small preview of chapter 2 which I have just posted on AO3. I hope you enjoy reading it.

It is written that angels who relinquish their immortality for a life in the mortal world will be sent to a dark place between heaven and hell called purgatory once their mortal lives end. They must wait to account for their lives with our heavenly father through purification before they can re-enter heaven again and to an eternal life in paradise. For some poor souls, purification never comes.

Hello! So I read Enthralled for the first time and I just wanted to say I love it! I'm excited to read the second book and hope you to update when you can!!

Fifty Year’s Worth - Chapter 6 (new addition - preview)

To all you wonderful people still following this story. I have just posted Chapter 6 on AO3  and I’m really excited (and nervous) about it.

My special thanks to my beta and banner maker @sunsetsrmydreams . We got there in the end my friend.

This chapter is the second (and last) new addition to the original story I wrote for MoreStories2SaveLives - Summer 2018 Collection.  I hope you will enjoy reading it. 

(I’ll post the rest of the already completed chapters over the next two weeks).

Here’s a little preview; 

Tomorrow will be a bright new day and the start of my future, learning all I can from my father in his bakery. Hopefully my career choice will be good enough for Katniss to want to spend the rest of her life with me. 

This would be beyond anything I could ever wished and prayed for and I don’t hesitate to share these thoughts with Finnick, but he is quick to bring me back to reality, reminding me to slow things down.   

“Take it easy there Peeta. You need to go slow with this girl. From what I can glean, Katniss has been through some rough times. Sure, she’s your soulmate, but the thought of romance, marriage, kids, may be too much for her right now. I’d hate to see you get your hopes up if all she wants from you is nothing more than friendship.” 

I know Finnick means well and is trying to protect me from getting my heart crushed, but he needn’t worry. 

“I remember everything you taught me Finnick, and I promise to take things slow with Katniss. If friendship is all she wants from me then I will be happy to be her best friend.”   

Finnick places his hands on my shoulders and there’s a look of sincerity in his sea-green eyes. “You are like a brother to me, but you need to be prepared for disappointment. There’s always a possibility your girl could reject you…it could happen Peeta.” 

I can’t allow myself to think that way.

Fifty Year’s Worth -  Chapter 8 (final preview)

I somehow knew it was you in the hospital with Prim and at night when my nightmares would come. I knew you would always be there to protect me.” 

She soothingly brushes her fingers along my face. “Did I make you happy Peeta? Was it worth all that you gave up just so that you could be with me?”

“I’m glad you finally came to your senses Katniss and decided to meet me. I knew you would eventually.”

FIFTY YEAR’S WORTH - (ms2sl Summer 2018 Collection)

This story was written for MoreStories2SaveLives - Summer 2018 Collection and it was my very first contribution as a writer. Now, it’s time for me to stop contemplating and get it ready to post on AO3...tomorrow...one chapter.

I’ve had several requests to add a little more to the story which I will do, so I’ve broken the story down in chapters and will work on the new stuff (at least one new chapter...maybe two). I just need to buckle down and get it done! Famous last words!

Hello. We haven’t received any such emails, nor have we been pinged on our web site nor here on tumblr at either our public site or at Sohypothetically. 

I’m happy to discuss this with you. 

I don’t see an account on our site (ms2sl.com) for you former pen name. That would mean that you hadn’t uploaded anything to our site. Also, “Rented” as a search in our database returns no results. In other words, Ms2sl has no recollection of you either as an author or a donor. We have no affiliation.

Collections prior to 2016 were compiled by the awesome and amazing @streetlightlove1. I am showing in this masterpost below that at least one of your items was in the 2015 collection. That set of collections was removed from public view over 3 years ago and it’s contents, presumably retired. That original S2sl has no affiliation with us, so I cannot presume to tell you how to contact Streetlightlove1 or check on the contents.
