Another interview that seems relatively achievable despite my lack of experience.

In this interview with David Bowie I like the consistent changing shots and I suspect that the B-roll is being used to cover up the cuts of footage to make it flow more naturally.

I am pleasantly pleased with the outcome of my video. The multiple scenes being put together in different orders as well as the fast paced nature of each frame I feel really adds to the overall suspense of the work. The use of silhouette also adds a clear sense of mystery while the use of only the colour red allows for consistency but importantly a sense of danger to come across to the viewer.

Target Market

I feel that the clear horror aspect of the video would mean it would best be targeted at those who have an affinity for this particular genre, especially young adults. Because of the shorter length of the video, I feel like it would be best viewed as a reel on instagram. This way it would also reach the highest amount of people because of social medias massive influence on young adults.

Valley of Light | 65 minutes | 2023

Across the seasons, two siblings explore and grow in an idyllic but abandoned landscape. A scientist observes the changes with impassive concern. Later, one sibling returns to piece together the remnants of her heritage.

 ‘Kɔηsεt Pāti’, a project curated by Abbey IT-A (@itaabbey) at the former Marvels Mini Golf Course (next to Mmofra Place), Dzorwulu – Accra, Ghana.

🎡Kɔηsεt Pāti playfully misinterprets what is meant by the “moving image” with an exhibition strategy that transposes the audio-visual aspirations of two films between the virtual space of a screen and literal space. Ghanaian artist, Eric Gyamfi’s @certainwindsfromthesouth (2023), an adaptation of Ama Ata Aidoo’s short story. A call. A response is heard in voice and score from British Ghanaian artist, Larry Achiampong’s film ‘Relic 2’ (2019), courtesy of the British Council Collection. The strategy involves a purpose-built screening area designed, constructed, and engineered to rotate, in collaboration with a hybrid group of practitioners: Adwoa Amoah (@adwoaaaaaaa), Ato Annan (@anima.axolotl), Ahenkan Yeboah (@yeboah_ahenkan_richard), Gershon Gidisu (@gershongidisu), Afrane Akwasi Bediako (@afranemakof), Joshua Afoakwa (@joshfoaks), Emmanuel Kwasi Nyavor, Ebenezer Asiamah, Isaac Gyamfi A. (@igyamfi6studio) and Abraham Tettey (@master_ab). It is activated with high school learners through free screenings and workshops facilitated in collaboration with Jeff Atuobi (@yawatuobi). Kɔηsεt Pāti is hosted by the Foundation for Contemporary Art (FCA)-Ghana (@fca_Ghana) and Mmofra Foundation (@mmofrafoundation). The project duration is 20th February to 15th March 2025. In our exhibition “on request “ at Galerie g Freiburg, the packaging that protects the artworks for transport also provides the defined framework for their presentation. So packaging and the packaged have entered into a close relationship. Where one ends and the other begins can hardly be said anymore. "on request" was an exhibition within the context of "die Kunst des Handelns ", with cooperation galleries and artists' association Baden-Württemberg, 2016

Considering the time constraints I have I won't have nearly as much time I'd need to plan the shoot as well as this or have the time ill need to edit like this as ill need to also teach myself how to do that as i go along. I'd love to have shots of Twig working away on their art and cut back to the interview. The workspace they have at GSA is very small so massive establishing shots won't work. It'll have to be more closer since they share half of a small cubicle with another artist and I don't want their work to be confused for Twigs.

Experimentation with moving image, creating GIFs from photography developments. Inverting colours to determine whether dark or light works better when projected onto sculpture. Next steps: adding text potentially + sound.
