(Set in the middle of unwound future. Think that one official art with Clive holding the wrapped rose. Its Clive trying to teach Luke how to do that.)
[Image description: Clive is teaching Luke how to wrap a rose. Luke says "Thanks, Dad!" while smiling, then proceeds to realize that he just called what he knows to be his future self, his dad. Clive is looking at Luke while having A Moment™ because he has many parental issues, is entirely unprepared to be a father figure, and is about to try and level London. He says "ah". Clive then has an early life crisis while Luke hides behind his hat in embarrassment. End Description]
I'm reading Maurice (1914) analysing the whole situation with Alec's Scudder point of view and...
Oh. My. God. I finally got it:
Imagine that the handsome gentleman in whom he already became interested lately -
- keeps on coming out of the house few times during single evening
- to walk past him in the dark garden full of wonderful scents of flowers and fruits
- being in distinctively dreamy mood and talking unusually friendly to him
(thanks to aversion Maurice felt to the "damn ugly" Mr Borenius who's "sneering at youth" - he suddenly decided that Scudder "was a fine fellow" and is now "feeling friendly to the reprobate")
And if that was not enough:
- bumping into him with his full body TWICE!!!🤯
Poor Alec, he must have been so on edge that night...😭
No wonder that one word was just enough for him to literally climb the walls!😂🤣
clive barker: christopher carrion is a nasty looking man, he's a corpse-like creature with tubes sticking out of his head, nightmare goo swimming around his face, scarred lips, hairless pale weird pathetic fucking guy
Hollie Bennett, Harry McEntire, Doug Cockle, Alex Jordan, Ben Starr and Aoife Wilson are about to launch a kickstarter for their DnD campaign series (x)
(@ceciasa/@notyourclockworkgirl here (again!)) I really liked Penny, so I tried my hand at drawing her. If you wanna see it, I can reblog it below the ask (I'm scared of it not going through submissions LOL).

I'm the one who organized our bookshelves because I'm autistic and neurotic about everything being in the right spot and Scribe mostly does not care as long as she can find things, but I did consult her when I was devising the system and my favorite moment was when I was putting together the shelf that goes:
Poetry ----> Epics/Medieval Lit ----> Tolkien -----> Languages
And at one point I told her "I put the one C.S. Lewis book next to the Tolkien section since it fit the theme so they can be friends" and she was immediately like "What?? Do we own by C.S. Lewis??" because our household consists of:
Me, has weird Narnia trauma, Jewish now
Her, grew up extremely non-religious and hisses like a cat at Christianity
(The answer was an anthology of his academic writing on medieval and Renaissance literature, which makes perfect sense for us, but it was her initial deep and utter confusion when I mentioned it than made me laugh)
Some more fan art of Director Clavell / クラベル校長 (as he appears in Pokemon Scarlet) as I absolutely love drawing him and he’s my fav Pokemon SV character. I definitely have more fanarts planned with him (and several of the other SV characters, too).
This one took a lot longer than I had planned, as it started off as a 3/4 body illustration on the same canvas as my previous Nemona drawing (you might remember the WIP I posted while ago of a cropped shot of the two of them), and I was only gonna do some basic windows behind him... but it evolved into a full body + background in the end because I couldn’t help myself. OTL
Since I spent so much time on this with all the little details everywhere, I’ll be sure to post some close ups, too.
Here’s hoping we get to see him in the Pokemon Horizons Anime. *fingers crossed* 🍊 🧡 We’re finally in Paldea! I’m so excited.
I'm currently watching the 1971 Sense & Sensibility on YT and having issues that only the approx. 2 other Poldark 1975 fans on here will understand.
I knew Robin Ellis was in it (he and Joanna David being the two main reasons I was so keen to see it). I'd just assumed he was Willoughby - it's 1971, the year he played Essex in Elizabeth R and if you want dashing, handsome but definitely trouble in the early 70s he's yr man.
AND THEN HE TURNED UP AS EDWARD FERRARS.
Who, I asked, curious, could be Willoughby, then?
... and then Clive Francis walked in and my brain exploded.
