What if Rhys doesn’t want to talk to him? He thinks of the panic attack Rhys had on their first movie night and imagines all the Halloween costumes and decorations between his house and the bar. Adam isn’t stupid enough to believe Rhys is as okay as he pretends to be. Could all the Halloween gore have triggered him? What if Rhys does want to talk to him? Adam imagines him all alone, panicking in one of his corners, surrounded by darkness and the ghosts that clearly haunt him. Is he waiting for someone to find him and remind him to breathe?

Bones

“Hello,” Adam says. He once again discards his cleaning supplies in favor of kneeling before the frail, old cat. “Arthritis getting you again, Mr.Bones?” The arthritis is what earned him his name— Achy Bones. He spends most of his time on a thick rug or cat bed, basking in sunlight and the occasional attention. He is also one of Adam’s most frequent patients. While Adam can’t truly heal his arthritis, return him to the young cat he once was, he offers Mr.Bones relief as often as he can.

Dumb ask vaguely related to the Mr.Bones reblogs but Saturn emulation has gotten pretty decent in recent time!

Yabause and Kronos are still far from great but Mednafen's saturn core has gotten really dang good!

Ive used it for a solid bit now and have yet to run into issues with anything ive thrown at it.

If you ever consider looking into Saturn emulation again, id highly suggest trying it out!

yeahhhh mednafen is what i used, and it is great! but sometimes it would just boot into the saturn bios instead of the game when id try starting a game, and the only way i found to fix it was to just reinstall mednafen, which was not ideal. i have ZERO clue why it did that, but like... other than that, mednafen is great! (though i wish it had like, an actual gui...)

ok im 20% of the way through treasure island, which i started reading because i've recently come back from scotland, wherin i took a literary tour on account of my sister's interests, and robert louis stevenson was one of the persons of note. similarly, i have been working my way through a series of classics as I find them enjoyable,

🐀 You guessed it, her palisman is definitely a rat. His name is Mr.Bones.

🐀 Still keeps up her elixir business. Still selling illegal, hand made potions. She’s basically the black market. Will disguise her shop as a rinky dink trinket stand during Golden Guard watch hour though. She makes too much moolah to stop her sketchy shit.

🐀 Definitely wanted in some places for her elixirs malfunctioning and killing someone. But hey, now she knows she can resell it as a murderous elixir rather than whatever it was originally intended for. Everyone is still a test subject to her.

🐀 Surprisingly, a bard. Uses her primal beast to scream her magic. [ INSERT LOUD BAT SCREECHING ]

🐀 Her primal beast works similarly to Eda’s owl beast curse. Only it’s not a curse, she’s friends with her primal beast, and they both just willingly cause hell. Completely conscious in primal. Though her primal beast is referred to as the bat beast in this verse lmao
