Ahhhh! They released a music video!

It’s of the lofi version of “My Plan” (the Buddy Daddies ED that is originally sung by DURDN). This lofi version is sung by Kazuki and Rei’s Japanese VAs and the music video is made up of scenes from Buddy Daddies! My heart! ❤️😭❤️

It’s only 6 in the morning where I live, and this already has me crying!  😭 ❤️

I plan to go back to school next fall, so I have a little ovet fourteen months to master all seven subjects. I won't need two full months for algebra 1; cracking open the first chapter, it's all stuff like "here's what a plus sign means" and "variables look like letters, but they really stand for numbers!"

It won't hurt to brush up on factorization, but I think I can bang this one out in a week or two. All the better, because calculus kicked my ass in high school and it's not gonna be any easier now that I'm my own teacher. I passed it once (by the skin of my teeth), but have forgotten almost everything about it in the last decade, so I'll need the extra time to really get it down pat. I have to be able to derive and integrate in my sleep if I'm to stand half a chance at earning an astrophysics major. Astronomy would be slightly easier, but not by much, so I may as well go for gusto. The very first class astrophysics requires is calc 2, so I can't enroll until I'm 100% sure I know calc 1 forwards and backwards. Physics too, but physics and calc feel like two sides of the same coin, so I'll try to work on them at the same time (again, I managed to pull it off once, I'm sure I can do it again).

Chances are these Dummies books will be insufficient for me to grok all this math in one year, so I'll end up buying more textbooks, workbooks, study guides, SAT and AP prep, etc. I had plenty of cram sessions in my first go around at college, but nothing quite like this. This will be a herculean undertaking compared to the easy-A humanities program I coasted through originally. I had no motivation back then, no drive, no goal for "the real world" upon graduating. I went to college because it was expected of me, and I was told I needed it to get a good job. What I wasn't told is that not all majors are created equal; there's not a lot you can do with an English degree besides, well, teaching English. I just hope 14 months is enough time, because I would really prefer not to take another year off; 2024 is the ten year anniversary of when I started college the first time, so it would mean so much more to me if I started again that August rather than put it off until 2025.

I guess it doesn't matter in the end. If I'm not ready, I'm not ready. I can't force myself to start an extremely advanced program before I've mastered the pre-reqs. If I need to start later, so be it. As long as I'm consistently working towards my goal, it shouldn't matter how long it takes.

Apart from a lack of cat during the epilogue, which I believe they should follow up, and PA Works not playing Kazuki (Toshiyuki Toyonaga) and Rei’s (Kouki Uchiyama) voice actors’ rendition of DURDN’s “My Plan” at the end of the episode (I was holding on until the end but no, nothing, zilch, nada), they don’t seem to have a concept of safe driving.

That’s my gripe, yes. No seatbelts, boys, you could have ended up as one of the roadside victims and your revenge would mean nothing.

Living on the edge indeed.

My plan

I have been making a lot lately. I've made a FnaF AU, Salt AUs, ship kids, and Equustale. And I still have more planned. I have a whole swap verse planned, a fell verse planned, a lust verse planned (Including all the Salt AUs), a high school AU, and a Pokemon AU. I want to just release them all at once but I know I can't. And I don't want anyone to get bored of me not making art. So, here's my plan.

I will make my Swap AUs first, then the Fell AUs, then Lust AUs, and then I will work on Equustale, and FnaCtsle (Five Nights at Classy's). Then I'll do the other stuff. Don't worry, I'll try to at least post a few pieces of art in between each.

My plan is under way. I bought seven "For Dummies" books to help refresh myself on all the topics I've forgotten since high school

Algebra 1

Geometry

Trigonometry

Pre-calculus

Calculus 1

Physics 1

These are by no means comprehensive, but they're a good start. I was able to find the exact textbooks I had in high school, but I opted against them because I figured they wouldn't be super useful with only half of the answers in the back, and I couldn't find the teacher's editions. I'm sure I could have found digital copies online but I learn better from physical books than PDFs, so this was the best bet for my budget.

My goal is to go back to school and earn a BS in astrophysics, which requires 62 credits of really intense math and science. I already have college credit for trig and calc, so there's no need for me to retake those semester long courses, I just need to get a hang of them again before I re-apply for my second bachelor's next fall.

I'll have to talk to an advisor to make sure I'm elligible to start this program with my existing prerequisites. It's not like they'd turn me away, they'd just give me a list of all the classes I need, and I'd sign up for them no matter how long they take. I've been completely listless for almost five years now, so any progress whatsoever is a major achievement for me.
