It had been tough readjusting to the level of basketball back in America as well as the other walls he had faced. Still, he remembered that Kuroko wished him luck and that he would pray that he would make it to the NBA and if he thought about what Kuroko could do then he could overcome any wall.

And so Taiga did as he thought of the blue-haired phantom. The boy who was a good friend who despite his small build had never given up and made incredible passes. He got to where he was because of the thought of his friend. Kuroko Tetsuya's prayers did come true. He made it into the NBA.

Many years later, they finally reunited in America! Kuroko Tetsuya somehow paved his own path into getting into the NBA.
