sooo, it's been quite a day, not going to lie.

I was working on something that was stressing me out far more than I expected, tbh.

But, drawing my beloveds soundly asleep in each other's arms always calm me, and this time was no exception.

So please, do enjoy this quick artwork(literally, I did it under 2 hours) that I did of Mephisto and Aranea soundly asleep , hidden away somewhere in Mephistar, where no one can reach them and disturb them.

As I said before, Mephisto doesn't really sleep, he doesn't truly need to. But he knows that Aranea does, so he enjoys just laying there with her in his arms for all the hours she needs to rest, because she brings him a sense of peace and quiet.

Sure, his brain never stop working and scheming, but for a few hours, he gets to just silence the world around him, so long he has Aranea in his arms.

And I loved drawing this, you have no idea how much. <3

Who would have thought that these two would have become my comfort ship??? lolol Life is truly unpredictable.

And now it's time for me to go to sleep myself!

I don't know how to say it without going even more apeshit than I already did in the tags of my reblog but your New York Polycule band AU is the most beautiful thing I've seen in my entire life and I could probably write an entire essay about it if I were more coherent (redhead/auburn Noel my beloved, romantic goth Oscar my beloved, Jarthur matching earrings my beloveds, Arthur's funky little glasses my beloveds, the comour scheme my beloved, the album/tour name my beloved, the composition my beloved, casual hanging out doodles my beloveds, everything about this entire concept my beloved) but I'm not so just rest assured that if you ever find yourself in peril, I will come to your aid with a sword in hand ready to fight in your name because you've singlehandedly mashed together so many of my favourite things and made the result so beautiful that my serotonin receptors have been making me run up and down the stairs for the past while to walk off the happy zoomies. They a look perfect. They all look so perfect and also exactly how I imagine them (long black hair John, curly hair Oscar, blond Arthur, redhead/auburn Noel. I love your brain so much. And you made them GOTH. And you made them GENDER. and you made Noel LIKE METAL. I know I already said they all look perfect but they literally look so perfect - god, that hat you gave Oscar is so good, it's so him, I love it so much.

I'm not actually a goth in the traditional sense (I don't listen to goth music unless you count Aurelio Voltaire and apparently some early Nightwish - im more of a folk-rock-punk-metal girlie) but I like to wear a lot of black and yeah I'm still some flavour of alt (the ideal gender presentation is an androgynous renfaire attendee dipped in a bucket of black paint) so seeing my blorbos like this just. Made me so ridiculously happy you have no idea. Your brain was so smart and sexy and correct for coming up with this idea. It's what they deserve. They deserve to look good and play music and straddle each other while they do each other's eyeliner and all the good stuff. I cannot wait for that playlist you mentioned.

Howl - oh hey I actually already have this song saved, I think an irl friend recced it. And yet somehow I never stopped to pay attention to the lyrics and realise just how well they fit Stolas holy shit. Especially the first half! Wtf. 🤣 I've added it to the Stolas playlist now! (and, yeah, the second half of the song is so omegaverse coded 😂 I love that shit)

So alright, cool, whatever - love it! The rhythm is a bit too upbeat, but I think the lyrics at the beginning are sad enough to fit in the Stolitz angst playlist, so there it goes!

Rises the moon - love how it sounds! I like your idea of Tilla singing it to Blitz, but while I was listening I couldn't help but imagine a sad and lonely Stolas singing it to himself as a way to self-soothe. I feel like the moon imagery and the poetic language fit his character very well. (and how cute and heartbreaking would it be if the song Tilla sings to Blitz is the same song Stolas sings to himself? 😭) added to the Stolas playlist!!!

Basically, her transition from grief to anger and finally towards indifference.

John Thorpe's beloved gig is destroyed in a tragic collision with another carriage (all the other guy's fault, of course). He laments its loss to everyone who will listen. His eloquence misleads a few people to think that he's lost his wife or intended, which Thorpe finds ridiculous. After all, what are women to horses and carriages?

For The Heart I Once Had

Missing scenes from the end of Mansfield Park. After his final parting from Mary Crawford, Edmund Bertram pines after her and is kind of insufferable about it. He goes on about his broken heart, certain that he can never love again, while Fanny Price listens and suffers in silence. All the while, of course, he's unconsciously starting to fall in love with Fanny, but the fic ends just before he figures it out.

*Flarevein quickly summoned his two demons, a tall and fierce Wrathguard named Mekgorath and a blue but very grumpy-looking void walker that was named Helmoth to the stage. Flarevein, once ready would nod to the stagehands to begin the next song with a smile.* *The song would begin with a soft guitar rift and bass line for a few minutes. The song would gradually build up before finally, the main part of the song began. Flarevein would begin to dance and sway to the beat of the music.*

*Mekograth would be seen playing his guitar, a long heavy guitar riff. Mekgorath would be soon joined by Helmoth. Flarevein would start to sway and dance to the music before grabbing the microphone and started singing. Pointing to the audience as he sang*

As far as physically printed books goes? None. I've got way too much that needs doing to try to figure out how to hold books to read and how to hold books to make at the same time. If fanfic counts though (and I totally count it), I've been keeping up with Topsy's Halfway to the Sky.

I probably ought to give LOTR a poke again though. Take a page from Tolkien's book on "how to be wordy af".

Hi there, nickname's Skitty! I mainly post about Kirby or Kirby fan characters, although a lot of memes and other fandoms find their way here too. Somehow became a blog semi-dedicated to making Sword and Blade content. Occasionally I post my original characters as well, but not as often. All of my artwork is archived on DeviantArt, but I'm generally more active here with doodles n such. If you see me around, please don't be afraid to say hi! I've been in the Kirby fandom for 10+ years now and have seen many a things.

I'm still learning as an artist and am currently studying game design, as I'd love to make my own someday (especially horror!)
