All of them sound adorable, I've never seen a Togesemaru outside of pictures/ video before. It is spelled Ohrken. In the nativelanguage it means "Dry Land" in the native language. The only lab we have here is the one I work at. Speaking of research you research the Tapu right? Well these might be of interest to you.

This is one of those right? No idea why it is here, a local apparently snapped some pics of it before it flew off. Have any idea what might be going on? We don't have anyone on staff with experience on these pokemon so I figured I would ask.

speak in another language to not express your true feelings? like i do learn languages to be more exposed to new emotions and communicate better but i know if i said the words on my mind i will feel them hundred times more in my own language i don wanna realize them they so heavy and deep i don sound weird

Interesting Facts about the Philippines: The Dialect called Ilokano.

It is the 3rd most spoken non-English/ foreign language in Hawaii.

Precolonial Ilocano people of all classes wrote in a syllabic system known as Baybayin prior to European arrival.

It largely borrowed words from Spanish, followed by English and smatterings of much older accretion from Hokkien (Min Nan), Arabic and Sanskrit. An example of this is the word "agbuldos" in ilokano it means to bulldoze something.

The oldest story from the Philippines to not be lost or destroyed during colonialism was written in Ilocano. It is titled "Biag ni Lam-ang", which means "The Life of Lam-ang".

I checked for me, the Osage nation, although based today in Northern Oklahoma, used to have a much larger ancestral territory, including the entire Ohio Valley, so the Athens County and ultimately Albany. There were other nations and native people in Ohio as well. I need to study this further!

What is Bahamian dialect?

Virtually on every Bahamian island, English is the primary language spoken. However, if you listen closely, you’ll often hear people singing their words rather than enunciating every syllable. Bahamian creole aka Bahamian dialect aka Bahamianese, is “a mixture of Queen’s diction, African influence and island dialect” (Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, 2019). We pronounce our “w’s” as “v’s” and drop the “h” in just about every word, ie. “well” is pronounced “vell” and instead of saying “thanks” you’d say “tanks.” While some may associate “broken English” as a substandard from of communication, you actually get the feel of the people, the culture, the history, and the love, all in a few clicks of the tongue.
