The sun sat low on the horizon as you lounged on the deck with your crewmates after dinner. It was the first day back at sea after being ported for a week as the log pose took its time to realign, a fact that left you yearning for a little more time on the island. You’d come across the prettiest waist belt with a snake as the center pendant, golden with glittering eyes. You’d had your hands full with ship supplies and decided that personal shopping could wait until the evening, a well intentioned action that resulted in the belt being purchased while you were away.

“It’s eyes were emerald and the scales were carved perfectly.”, you pouted to Bubblegum and House, “I should’ve just stopped when I saw it the first time.”

“That fuckin’ sucks though… Maybe you’ll find something similar on another island?”, Bubblegum offered as a solution.

“I doubt it.”, you huffed, “Judging by everything else at the booth, I think the owner made the pieces himself so it’s unlikely that another would be floating around somewhere.”

“It sounds to me like you need to find someone to commission.”, House retorted in response to your defeat.

There was only one person that you could think of that had the ability to craft something of that nature, but there was no way he’d waste his time making something so useless. You could almost hear him denying your request, a hurl of halfhearted insults to indicate how much of a bother it would be. Although, despite the conversation only consisting of a party of three, another person had been listening in on your dismay and resolved that he could replicate the accessory with a sense of craftsmanship that would dull that of the booth’s owner. He carried himself to his workbench, red hair falling across his forehead unceremoniously as he brought his goggles to rest over his eyes.

Kidd’s feelings for you had been shifting, deepening as each day passed into the next. What had started as an initial impression of interest had taken full captivation of his heart, bending his iron will to fit in the palm of your hand. He’d wanted to tell you for a while now, he just didn’t know how. He was your Captain and while it would never be his intention, he couldn’t ignore the glaringly obvious power imbalance that would loom over you and he didn’t want a change in your relationship to cause a change in crew dynamics. Too many factors relating to your happiness were at stake and it was paralyzing for him.

It was the reason he stayed pent up in his workshop the entire night, perfecting a golden snake that he hoped to see resting around your waist. It was a visualization that lead his thoughts astray, a break in focus that he had to quickly reel himself in from. Link after link, scale after scale, he fixed and polished components of the belt in a way that he hoped you’d like. Kidd rummaged through several piles of loot he’d amassed through his time at sea, spreading out what seemed to be an endless selection of precious gems to fit for the eyes. He settled on two matching rubies, an unintended homage to himself and as equally befitting of the warm-toned metal as the emeralds he’d noted from your description.

As he sat with the dainty accessory in his hands, a feeling akin to embarrassment spread through his chest. Despite having no good reason, he felt like a fool for making a gift for someone based on a conversation he hadn’t even had with them. Moreover, he wasn’t even sure you’d be enthusiastic about his creation and certainly didn’t want to be at the other end of your disappointment. He tucked the belt away into his palm and stepped out onto the deck to take in some fresh air, the sun just beginning to break across the morning sky. He wasn’t in the right headspace to present you with the belt himself and he sure as hell couldn’t get caught leaving it at your door. He had to act and quickly, it wouldn’t be long before Killer would start breakfast and the ship would reanimate after a rather quiet night.

Kidd approached the door of your cabin and carefully looped the chain of the belt around your door handle. He made his way to his own cabin, showering and lying down to rest even if just for a little while. You woke not long after exhaustion consumed the Captain, going about your own morning routine and eventually making your way to the door. As you pushed it open and crossed the threshold toward the deck, you heard a clanking noise rattle against the wood. Much to your shock and delight, you were met with a gift that you hadn’t expected in the slightest. It was different from the original belt, but better in every way.

You were dumbfounded on how it’d come to find you, especially considering neither Bubblegum nor House possessed the necessary skills to forge something so intricate. Trying on the accessory and finding that it shaped your waist perfectly, you immediately sought out your friends. House was the one to mention commissioning someone to make it but when you pressed her about it, she swore she had no idea where it had come from. Grilling Bubblegum for information also lead to a dead end, but things took a turn when Killer interjected on your interrogation.

“It was left on your door handle?”, he asked for confirmation.

“Yes and I only talked to two people about it yesterday.”, you reiterated, “No one else was on the deck at the time so it’s not making any sense.”

Killer thought back on the night before, reminiscing on the light beneath the door of Kidd’s workshop and the hum of music that seeped from its walls so late into the evening. He’d chalked his behavior up to Kidd’s usual tinkering inclinations, everything clicking for him in that moment.

“I don’t think it was just the three of you on the deck last night… I think this would be a lot less confusing if you asked the Captain about it.”, he suggested, the smile hidden beneath his mask coming forth through his tone.

“Wait.”, the thought of Kidd crafting the belt for you caused your face to brighten, “Do you really think that-… There’s no way.”

“He was up pretty late… I reorganized part of the pantry last night and he was still locked in his workshop when I went to bed.”, Killer nudged you with his elbow, “Go ask him about it and I think you’ll get your answer.”

You reluctantly took Killer’s advice, a feeling of shyness threatening to overtake your usually solid composure. Lifting your hand and leaving three knocks on Kidd’s cabin door, your nerves surmounted as you listened to his heavy footsteps trailing directly toward you. The door swung open to reveal his typical stern expression, features of lingering sleepiness presented as his hair was tousled and he was shirtless. He leant against the door frame, the already noticeable size difference between the two of you becoming exacerbated.

“You wouldn’t happen to know anything about this, would you?”, you gestured to the belt, still neatly locked in it’s place around your abdomen.

“Why the hell would I know anything about a belt?”, he asked gruffly, averting his gaze which only served to prove Killer’s theory.

“No one else could’ve made this belt, Kidd.”, you grinned up at him, your smile widening as his face glowed a similar shade to his hair.

“There’s no surprises with you, huh?”, he asked, his tone coming across as a bit pouty.

The gesture was so sweet and you just couldn’t help but attempt to wrap your arms around him for a hug. He stood stiff as a brick for a moment, just barely letting himself relax enough to pat your back while a chorus of appreciative compliments crossed your lips. As you spoke, he caught himself staring at them. Much softer than his own and taunting, it was almost like you were asking him to ravage you. These impulsive thoughts had been occurring for a while now, always forcing himself to ignore them.

“Are you even listening to me?”, you giggled at his distant expression, recognizing that he was obviously lost in thought.

He made eye contact with you and gripped your chin in his hand. It wasn’t forceful, but reminiscent of his possessive streak. He leant down and captured your lips with his own, your hands making their way to rest on his chest for support. Without breaking contact, Kidd pulled you into his cabin and kicked the door shut. Following several heated moments, he broke for air and rested his forehead against your own.

“You could’ve just given it to me yourself, weirdo.”, you teased him.

“Watch it.”, he landed a playful tap on your bottom.

The pair of you pestered one another for the rest of the evening, an amusing dynamic that would certainly carry throughout your impending relationship.

a sea otter who barely holds any memories of his past. his body still knows how to swiftly move with a sword. he's been travelling around the universe to find clues about his past.

his blade, the Tizona, is forged with a metal said to come from another realm, and allows him to cast a variety of nature-related spells.

hiroko - cold mercenary (she/her; in her mid 20's)

a river otter who seeks to seeks to find the culprit behind her village's fire. being left alone at a young age because of it, all she has left from her parents is the Leviathan - a ninjato said to be forged with the same metals as the Tizona and able to cast water and ice focused spells.

despite being fond with using daggers, her fighting style mainly focuses on a mix of martial arts.

epsali - warrior princess (she/her; in her late 30's)

despite her royal status, epsali is a fire dragon who would rather train and fight than attend to her duties as a princess; that's part of the reason why she often wears her royal guard's armour instead of her dress.

although her people seems to dislike the royal family, she cares for them. she carries with her a massive axe which she was told is made of emerald.

livefe - shy healer (she/her; in her early 20's)

adopted by epsali at an early age, she looks up at her almost as a motherly figure, although she's still unsure what sort of dragon she is. all she has from whoever left her at the castle's door is her ruby pendant.

she's diligently been studying light magic ever since, and her staff helps her amplify her spells. no-one in the castle is too sure what these seals around it are, though.

she has this necklace with a ruby pendant where she keeps her dragons. Like how Jin-woo keeps his army in his shadow, Hae-in keeps hers in her pendant, which also holds most of her mana. Hence, if she takes that off, then all of her dragons will be freed and her mana will be too powerful for her to handle if she's not in the same level as Antares.

When fighting her predecessor, Hae-in grows a pair of wings. Her horns also appear amidst the battle. Her wings are red, and so are her horns, and reddish scales also emerge on her cheeks — with her eyes in glowing red irises and obsidian scleras.

She is able to lit her sword in flames, from bright yellow to flaming red.

Hae-in can still stand even after losing a lot of blood because her mana naturally boosts her stamina if her powers are gradually draining.

Whenever she's feeling uneasy, her mana is affected. Terribly. She'd lose control, causing the ground to shake, and there is almost nothing she can do unless her soul is completely at ease.

Hae-in can reduce the sizes of her dragons anytime she wants.

After killing Antares, Hae-in takes his dragons into her army to make them her own.

Hae-in understands dragons whether in their own language or telepathy. This also goes for the dragons in the Shadow Army. The skill makes it easy for her to capture Kaisel and the other dragons' trusts.

Has an armor made out of dragon scales. She also has a dress made from the smoothest dragon scales.

Hae-in once turned herself into a dragon when battling Antares, but it's her first and last experience because she felt like her soul was being ripped into shreds while still moving.

Also, some fluffy headcanons? Hehe~

Her horns and wings can be quite sensitive to touches. Namely, if Jin-woo caresses them, Hae-in will shiver. He finds it amusing and even though she'll warn him, that won't stop Jin-woo from doing his ministrations on her wings and horns because Hae-in will still falter anyway and melt in his arms.

Hae-in treats her dragons like children. She always makes sure they are fed and will even do the hunting for them.

Her dragons call her in many names such as My Queen, Her Highness, and Great Dragoness.

Her dragons tend to be protective of her as well. Even towards her lover, so Hae-in has to reassure them beforehand.

When she's in her dragonoid form, Hae-in purrs — be it any affection from her mate, who first thought it's a low growl, but after realizing that it is actually a purr, Jin-woo likes every second of hearing it.

Because of her powers, Hae-in is naturally warm.

i've been working on lists of headcanons for how the different tribes approach accessorizing for quite a while, and I think my list is finally in a good place to post it! headcanons are sorted by tribe. Mudwings

because of the mud they spend a lot of their time in, a lot of accessories aren't very feasible for them

like to use woven cords made of jute or other natural fibers. sib groups will often wear a cord around their neck with a coiled knot that has a ring representing each of their siblings.

higher classes wear jewelry made with gold and gems, and often inset gems into their scales so they're harder to lose in mud and water

textiles almost never used in accessories because of how hard they are to keep clean

love tattoos, like to get tattoos on their wings membranes and underbellies. clutches tend to get matching tattoos representing their group, and a first tattoo is considered a right of passage by mudwings

Sandwings

known for their opulent weavings and textiles, like to wear scarves, shawls, and capes for functionality as well as aesthetics. hoods, veils and masks are common to protect their faces from the sun and from flying sand

also wear a lot of gold, in the form of earrings, rings, necklaces, bracelets, septums, and tail rings

sandwings have very skilled glaziers, and often implement glass in their jewelry

occasionally wear gemstones, though not as common. onyx, topaz, sapphires, obsidian, and diamonds are popular

textiles were often diaphanous material in cool tones, with scarves, shawls, capes, and veils very popular. fur was also commonplace, especially in lower classes, and are either from prey animals or animals specifically raised for that purpose. some of these include foxes, wolves, bears,

nightwings had skilled glaziers (learned from the sandwings), and glass was very common in jewelry and spectacles as well as in architecture

don't really have the option of owning much jewelry (if at all) under hivewing rule, the main exception being ornamental silkwings in the jewel hive

Devotion of the High Priest

OOC: Hah, you guys thought you were safe from Pyxis on this blog? Wrong. Thought you were safe from in depth short stories that absolutely no one asked for? Also wrong. Suffer. CW: violence, religious themes, death, blood, guns, descriptors of an afterlife

“Are you sure about this? I thought you’d be upset about all of this.” Scraps muttered as he turned the necklace pendant over in his hand, a finger grazing over the raised heart of the pendant. It was a gold heart with three spears pierced through sitting in the center of a silver sun laying on top of a deep red ruby. It was clearly crafted with care, and he would be more than happy to wear it, but his concerns lied mostly in the fact that Pyxis wasn’t exactly thrilled to become a religious figure to a little over two dozen Alanixians, and possibly more if the group pushed out the word of the religion. He looked back up at the alien hanging upside down from the support beams of his workshop, his forest green eyes locking with their earthy brown ones. He nearly flinched as they carefully cupped his face before his gaze softened. And it was like he was seeing the sun for the first time in his world of darkness as he watched them smile at him with the most care and love in the world. Where their fingers pressed against his skin, it felt like flowers blossomed beneath their touch, his chest rising as though clouds tickled his heart and lungs. He felt slightly out of breath, unaware that he had shifted forward to lean further into their hands. His hands slowly raised, holding onto their wrists as he listened to every word that slipped from their lips, lapping them up like honey dripping from the hive. “I want you to have a piece of me when you travel amongst tha stars, Scraps. Ya mean a lot ta me, and I want ya ta know that I’ll be there fer ya when ya need me, no matter what.” Their eyes squint together as they smile, gently rubbing their thumb across his cheek. And, oh, how the mighty do fall. Scraps’ devotion rang true despite his words failing him. 

If only his devotion served him at this moment. Stuck in another dimension, a mutant inhibitor collar stuck around his neck, his arms pulled back behind him, and a faceless man in front of him with a gun aimed towards his chest. He felt his throat bob as he felt the exhaustion run through his body, swallowing hard as the fight left his body. He was so tired, how long had he even been fighting now? “You got any last words, freak?” The faceless man barked out, his voice a far cry from the soft tone of Pyxis’ own voice. “I’m sorry.” Scraps coughed out, his chest heaving as he kept his eyes open, staring at the expressionless face of the other man. He wasn’t apologizing to him, not ever. No, his apologies were meant for Pyxis, for the others he would be leaving behind. His friends, his family, the stray cats outside of his shop, most especially the orange one he named Lemonchello. “Yeah, you should be sorry you came here, you freak.” The faceless man spoke before firing the gun. Scraps felt the bullet pierce and he waited for the sharp pain of it hitting his heart, something he was already accustomed to. But that pain never came. He felt the man behind him let go of his arms. His eyes looked down at his chest, confused if the bullet had missed. No, it most definitely had hit. But the blood that poured forward wasn’t of human nature. The light gold, nearly silver blood poured from his chest, dribbling out of his mouth. As he raised his eyes again, the green light that cast onto him felt like a warm shower of spring rain. He reached his hands out towards it as his eyes closed.

When they opened again, he wasn’t anywhere near home. He wasn’t quite sure where he was. But when he looked back down, the area where he had previously been shot was now a red ink stain on his dark skin. He looked back up at the rolling hills around him, a breeze blowing through the grass and flowers. He looked around in confusion, noticing a pond of sorts next to him. Red poppies and daffodils bloomed around the edge of the water, lily pads crowned with lotuses floating in the water. As he knelt next to the pond, peering into the water, his reflection peered back, the light dancing off of the ruby pendant hung around his neck. He let out a deep breath he didn’t realize he was holding, his braid moving back over his shoulder and dangling mere inches from the surface of the water as he leaned forward. A hand clasped onto his shoulder, giving a familiar squeeze. Scraps didn’t raise his gaze to the figure squeezing his shoulder, not having the strength to greet them quite yet. But he knew that squeeze. He knew it meant there was still a fight ahead left for him. Scraps took one last gaze at the flowers and grass around him before his eyes closed once again. And once they opened yet again, he was back home.

His home. With his shitty twin sized mattress shoved on a shitty metal frame in the corner of his room, the familiar buzzing of his bedside fan whirring away in a pathetic attempt to make it less muggy in the basement. He felt the weight of a cat on his chest, grunting as he raised a hand to pet whatever stray was on top of him, immediately recognizing it as Lemonchello from the notch in his ear. “Scraps. You’re awake!” He flinched as he heard Pyxis call him, but opened his eyes fully to see the face of his god hovering over him, blood stained on their skin and a red ink stain over their heart matching his. “Congratulations, Pyxis. Your new High Priest, Asante Scraps Stark.” an unfamiliar voice sounding similar to Pyxis’ own, just without the accent, spoke out. “What?” Scraps croaked out, looking up in confusion at Pyxis who cupped his face once more. But it was different this time. It held pity and guilt as he felt tears hitting his skin falling from their eyes.

How Tom Hiddleston Characters Would Spend the Winter Holidays (Plus Presents They Would Give You)

Will Ransome from The Essex Serpent

• For Will, celebrating the holidays would most certainly include a special service at the church on Christmas morning. The bells would ring, inviting everyone in Aldwinter to gather. Will would read from the scriptures for all to hear. Then, the choir would perform a series of carols, and Will would sit in the pew along with the rest of the attendees. Offering you a genuine smile, he would gently hold your hand while the choir sang.

• After the service came to an end, Will would offer you his coat if you seemed cold, gently draping it around your shoulders while you walked home together. If you needed anything for the Christmas dinner or for the night 

• And in the evening, Will would watch you prepare Christmas dinner for the both of you. He wouldn't know much about cooking, but he would happily stand near you and talk to you, keeping you company while you toiled. Then, he would recite a small prayer thanking

• Christmas present Will would give you? Perhaps a simple gold pendant with a small gemstone like a diamond or an emerald. After supper, he'd approach you and whisper "Happy Christmas" while placing the necklace around your neck, pushing your hair out of the way.

King Henry V from The Hollow Crown

• On Christmas morning, King Henry V would attend a special service at the church alongside you, his beloved queen.

• After the service, you and Henry would distribute alms (food, clothes, candles) among the poor citizens in the kingdom. According to the king, even the lowest are deserving of a proper Christmas

• Then, you and Henry would either take a carriage ride around the snow-laden city, waving to the citizens and wishing them a happy Christmas

• Or, you and the King of England would spend the rest of the afternoon inside your chambers, snuggled together by the fire with Henry resting his head on your lap while you caressed his auburn curls. 

• Christmas present Henry would give you? A beautiful new red or blue gown with a set of gold jewelry.

Prince Hal from The Hollow Crown

• Drinks! (Shots, shots, shots, shots - alright, I'll stop and retrieve my maturity)

• But truly, Christmas would be a time for Hal to indulge in all sorts of mischief in the tavern, including snagging Falstaff's most precious stash of liquor. 

• He'd dare any willing patron to outdrink him, in the process getting them to do all sorts of stupid things like sing silly bards or flirt with someone.

• By the time you found your beloved prince, he'd probably be heavily tipsy with endless amounts of energy and whisky on his breath. As soon as he saw you, he'd jubilantly hug you and kiss you on the lips.

• Christmas present Hal would give you? A small gold ring, perhaps one with a ruby, that you could wear either around your neck or around your finger

Prince Loki of Asgard from Thor:

• While Asgard doesn't celebrate Christmas per se, there would be plenty of Yule celebrations in the kingdom. As a prince and member of the royal family, Loki would be present at each of the important feasts, dressed in his signature emerald green robes and golden armor. 

• He would have to listen to Odin and Thor drone about their various accomplishments - many of them brutish in nature - over the past year, entertaining the guests before the entrees could be served. But at least, Loki could entertain himself by enchanting Thor's cutlery to run away from the table, or by playing a trick that hypnotized Thor into speaking gibberish out of nowhere. 

• Odin was not pleased with the amount of laughter from the guests directed at Thor

• But other than that, Loki would find reasons to enjoy the holiday season in Asgard - he would 

• Yule Present that Loki would give you? A beautiful tiara embellished with emeralds and diamonds. For his rightful queen.

Loki of Asgard and Jotunheim from Avengers: Infinity War

• In the days leading up to Christmas, Loki would find himself unwillingly stuck with Thor shopping around Midgard. It turned out that Thor was part of something called "Secret Santa" with the Avengers, where each of them had to buy a present for someone randomly assigned to them. Thor was given Wanda Maximoff, so he was combing through the shopping malls around New York City to find something for her.

• "Yes, yes, buy everything on the rack," Loki sarcastically remarked while Thor eyed a rack of gift baskets filled with soaps, bath oils, and body lotions. "It's not like you have a servant to carry your bags around for you."

• "Cheer up, brother! It's the season for joy…Do you want to sit on Santa Claus's lap?"

• But there was one reason Loki always tagged along with his brother's visits to Midgard in December: you

• While Thor was hanging out with the other Avengers, Loki would visit you - especially when you had days off from work or school - at your home. 

• He'd arrive at the outside of your window, holding a bouquet of poinsettias or a bag of Christmas-themed candy for you to enjoy.

• And then, you and Loki would walk hand-in-hand through the town, admiring the colorful decorations. Loki personally wouldn't have cared for them a few years ago, but seeing your face light up with adoration made his heart absolutely warm with joy.

• On Christmas day, Loki even surprised you with a horse-driven carriage ride. He proudly showed up at your place, wearing his signature green robes and golden armor, as befitting a true prince of Asgard. Loki took your hand and seated you next to him, an arm around your shoulder. At the end of the carriage ride, he sweetly kissed you on the lips and murmured, "Merry Christmas, darling."

• Present that Loki would give you? A collection of your favorite books, with hidden notes handwritten by Loki between the pages.

Bill Hazeldine from Suburban Shootout

• For Bill, Christmas is a time to be with the ones you love. He'd be happy to have you visit Little Stempington and meet his parents

• You might be a little intimidated at first, but Bill would assure you many times that his parents would like you

• You were courteous to bring his mother a box of French macarons since Bill told you his mum enjoyed French cuisine. And for his dad, you brought a bottle of liquor, which made him laugh.

• His mother thought you were a gem compared to Jewel, and his father jokingly said you were out of Bill's league ("you better hold onto this one, son. Don't let her get away.")

• After meeting his parents, Bill would take a chance to get some alone time with you in his bedroom, showing you things from his childhood - toys, trophies, rugby jerseys. You laughed and "aww'd" at the sight of one of the photos in his room; it was a one-year-old Bill wearing a nappy and crawling with a smile.

• Bill would chuckle, putting his arm around your amd stealing a kiss...only for his mother to walk in. (It didn't help that his dad loudly reminded Bill to "use protection")

• Still, you and Bill would have a lovely time with Bill's parents, getting to know each other better and helping prepare Christmas dinner for the four of you.

• Christmas gift Bill would give you: a snow globe with a waltzing couple inside it, and a silver bracelet he picked out

Coriolanus from Coriolanus

• Coriolanus was always a serious man. Even when you came into his life and he married you, he was serious - hardly indulging himself in things like wine or opium

• (The one exception was you, his darkest kryptonite. Coriolanus couldn't seem to get enough of you, holding you close whenever you were in the same room. He just had to come to you and touch you and kiss you.)

• On the morning of the festivities, Coriolanus woke you up with a long, slow kiss. "Io Saturnalia," you cooed, slowly opening your eyes.

• He'd absolutely refuse to participate in the traditions he viewed as ludicrous, such as cross-dressing and the reversal of roles. But he would be more than happy to stand at the balcony with you and watch the plebians indulge themselves in shenanigans.

• And when he got tired of watching masters serve their slaves, and people breaking all sorts of rules in various states of intoxication, Coriolanus would pepper your neck with kisses and beckon you to your shared bedroom.

• BRIEF SMUT ALERT

• Whispering sweet nothings in your ear, he'd take the opportunity to kiss you all over

• With a naughty grin, he'd place you on the bed and lift the hem of your garment up to your hips and pleasure you with his tongue.

• It was an act considered vulgar among most people, so why not do it on the day of no rules? It was Coriolanus's one and only indulgence about it

• END OF SMUT (and time for me to atone for my sins)

• Saturnalia gift Coriolanus would give you? Perhaps a small trinket - like a small statue of Venus - or a new dress that made you look like a goddess.

Jonathan Pine from The Night Manager

• Christmas was always a busy night for Jonathan, one that he would always choose to work without question. There would be lots of guests looking for rooms to stay durng their vacations, honeymoons, and holiday getaways.

• Still, he would find a way to have some alone time with you, even if it meant you visiting the front desk at 2 in the morning to see him.

• Jonathan would give you the gift he'd bought a few days ago, you would give him a set of cufflinks or a new tie for him to wear.

• Taking your hand, Jonathan would lead you to one of the hotel lounges (finding an empty suite would be highly unlikely given the amount of guests) to share a bottle of wine and some dinner, just the two of you.

• You'd both raise a glass to the holidays, and enjoy each other's company, talking about anything and everything.

• Christmas gift Jonathan would give you: A local piece of decoration from one of the local markets (like a small cowbell from Switzerland) and a box of sweets

Robert Laing from High-Rise

• Christmas with Robert Laing would most certainly include accompanying him to one of Royal's parties (parties held by the so-called "architect" of the high-rise building)

• You would get dressed up on Christmas Eve, wearing something fancy for the occasion, before Robert picked you up at your place

• At the party,  the two of you would be near each other for the most part. And after a drink or two, Robert would get a bit more...flirty with you, stealing kisses from you while you conversed with the other guests and inviting you to the dance floor

• ("I've got a lovely lady on my arm," he'd tell them with a chuckle. "Can't really help it.")

• Robert would show off his dance moves, especially the ones that he knew would make you laugh. For someone who didn't laugh much, Robert sure enjoyed seeing you smile.

• And during the slow songs, Robert would melt a little on the inside when you rested your head against his chest and swayed with him.

• He'd take the opportunity to whisper, "Merry Christmas, darling....why don't you say we have a party of our own? Do a little...unwrapping before we celebrate?"

• Giggling, you would follow Robert into the bathroom -or just go to Robert's apartment - and...celebrate, just enough for the other guests to hear.

• Christmas present Robert would give you:  probably something elegant Iike perfume or a gift basket of lotions, soaps and body washes.

Magnus Martinsson from Wallander

• The police station was having their own Christmas party, which was really nothing more than some alcohol and pudding

• (Wallander warned the officers not to drink too much in case there was an emergency...but who was listening?)

• Magnus brought you to the party as his date, and had an almost-protective arm around you while you mingled with his colleagues.

• After some insisting from you, he'd dance with you to some of the holiday songs playing on the radio, twirling you so you could show off your pretty red dress.

• Christmas present that Magnus would get you? A vinyl record of one of your favorite songs or recordings.

Oakley from Unrelated

• You originally thought that Oakley would be going with his family to their Italian vacation home to spend Christmas while you stayed with your family, so it was a surprise when Oakley insisted on inviting you to accompany them.

• You agreed on a compromise, that you would join Oakley for Christmas and spend New Year's with your family

• While the two of you were in Italy, Oakley took on the role of "tour guide", giving you his personal insight while he showed you around the city. (And totally not bragging about how much Italian he knows)

• And he would make sure to show off in front of you every chance he got, especially if it involved something that made you laugh

• His father seemed to like you, and for once, they thought that Oakley might finally get some maturity now that he has a wonderful lady for a girlfriend.

• On Christmas morning, Oakley would sneak into your bedroom with a panetonne for the two of you to share with coffee, expecting to be paid with kisses

• The two of you would spend the rest of the day with Oakley's friends, playing "spin the bottle", "Truth or Dare"...all while getting very, very drunk.

• Christmas present that Oakley would give you? A bottle of Italian liqueur like limoncello (that you will hopefully ask him to help you drink), a framed photo of the two of you (so you can have a "piece of him" whereever you go), and a kiss under some mistletoe

Thomas Sharpe from Crimson Peak

• After spending Christmas morning with his sister at Allerdale Hall, Thomas would go to visit you in the city.

• The two of you would enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride through the streets of London, enjoying the crisp, winter weather.

• And in the evening, Thomas would escort you to a Yuletide Ball that he and his sister- as well as your family - were invited to.

• Like a gentleman, he would pick you up from your residence, assuring your family that he would get you to the ball without any harm

• The two of you would spend the evening at the ball, waltzing in each other's arms, with Thomas praising your beauty throughout the night and whispering how he cannot wait to be your husband one day

• Christmas gift that Thomas would give you? A beautiful locket with portraits of you and him inside

Jaguar Villain!Tom Hiddleston

• Tom absolutely loves to spoil you, his lady love and his darling, even during the holidays.

• Starting in early December, he'd give the bodyguard he hired for you a Black Visa card specifically to buy anything you looked at - jewelry, shoes, designer gowns, cosmetics, special chocolates, anything

• Tom wouldn't display any overt interest in "decking the halls" or "getting into the holiday spirit" but he would certainly give his associates and henchmen Christmas or Hannukah bonuses

• And he would totally let you decorate the apartment however you pleased, even if it means coming home to a "winter wonderland" every night.

• Christmas Day would be exclusively his time with you (and he would not take no for an answer)

• In the morning, he'd wake you up with a room filled with gifts for you, and plenty of kisses with your morning tea/coffee

• Seeing the amount of presents he bought for you, you would feel a little intimidated about giving him the tie and watch you bought for him.

• But Tom would immediately love it as soon as he opened your gift, promising to wear it as often as possible.

• After spending the afternoon with you in the bedroom...thanking you for your gift, Tom would take you out for the night, giving you a chance to get dressed up for him.

• He'd reserve a fancy dinner for the two of you, having the five-star restaurant book a private room so you could enjoy your meal

• Then, the two of you would go to the theater to see either a production of The Nutcracker, or a production of Shakespeare's Henry V - whichever you preferred.

• Christmas gift that Jaguar!Tom would give you? Without a doubt, he'd buy lingerie that he believe would suit you the best, and anything else that would even seem to tickle your fancy.
