Gun x Gun?

Hold on before you think I'm not taking this seriously! I already stated I think Gun is one of the best actors on GMMTV's roster (if not the best), so understand that if GMMTV won't let him make out with Sing when both of them were giving us sexual tension as ToddBlack, or give Tor a little kissy kissy in Midnight Museum because they were brothers or whatever, at least let the man play against himself more. It could be like the Barbie movie, but with Gun being everything. It'd be fun to see, and if GMMTV wanted to go dark sci-fi, he could answer that age-old question: Would you have sex with your clone?

Neo x Phuwin

We had this. They were paired together in Cause You're My Boy. Then they were hinted at in Dark Blue Kiss. But then, they were made into brothers in Fish Upon the Sky, so Phuwin now has Pond, and Neo got Louis. But why though? Why were we denied another adventure of these two being paired up together?! I had them down on my hopes for a 2023 offering, and I'll have them down every year from now on. I want them back! NOW!

Earth x Papang

Aof was crazy for pulling this off in Moonlight Chicken, but now that I've seen it, I can't unsee it. And even more, I WANT IT! I have never seen Earth kiss like that, and he has had several partners. Did Aof strike a goldmine with this pairing? Papang has always done his job, but these scenes, which lasted no more than eight minutes, gave me an alternate timeline that I must see play out on my screen. Immediately.

Pond x Nanon

If Aof was crazy for Earth x Papang then Jojo was batshit insane for Pond x Nanon in Dirty Laundry. These two had a strip-off pole dance in a club called Boys Next Door, Nanon twisted Pond's nipples for information, then Pond's character had sex with a client with Nanon and Film's character in the car. This shit was wild, but that was only 15% of the hijinks between these two. I need them to recreate this creepy magic, and I need it to be twelve episodes long with at least 52 minutes runtime per episode.

Gigie x Fah

Since I mentioned Jojo, The Warp Effect is queer. QUEER! It gave use Fluke with Thor, Jan with Silvy (oh, my God that magical being could choke me!), and Mark with Best, yet, it toyed with us by suggesting the possibility of Gigie with Fah. Be brave about it, GMMTV! More than one wlw couple can exist in a show. Give me a redo, and this time, give me these two picking each other again, and again, and again regardless of what Alex (New) does with those Polaroids.

New x Sing x Fluke

Mentioning The Warp Effect reminded me that these three could out beat any historical trio including Destiny's Child, The Jonas Brothers, AND Charlie's Angels! Sing and New have been around for a bit, so I'm surprised they haven't acted in more together, but throw Fluke in there, and they had the perfect dynamic: Gay pretty boy and former bully with kinky puppy and space enthusiast trying to help out their bi idiot friend (it's canon to me). Sing and New will be in the Thai remake of Cherry Magic, so I'm sure Fluke could fit in there somewhere somehow. Make it happen, GMMTV!

First x Khaotung x Sea

And on the topic of throuples, this one hasn't happened, but by golly do I want it! Whoever paired First and Khaotung together deserves a Noble Peace Prize, but whoever thought of interviewing them with Sea deserves the Library of Congress Living Legend award and to be the Grand Marshall at the NYC Pride Parade. That person gets it. I'm not shipping them as actual people together. I want whatever chemistry they had in that interview to be transferred onto the screen and brought to me in 2024 because only a Year of the Dragon can handle the fire they would deliver.

Pawin x Satang

GMMTV, you know what you did in that Star in My Mind x Our Skyy 2 episode was effed up. I don't care how many times you pair Pawin up with other boys. You know what you did, and I'm taking this grudge to the grave.

Ohm x Perth

The fact that Double Savage cast them as brothers instead of a one-sided love affair was in the words of the most beautiful Raye a "DUMB DECISION!" Then to have them color coded?! THE AUDACITY! And no, I will not be writing about the colors because unless these two get paired again, as LOVERS, I will rewire this story in my head of what it should have been to deserve these two amazing actors partnered up with each other rather than the poop pile I got. I wrote what I wrote.

Joong x Dunk

If you know anything about me, know that I'm a JoongDunk fan first, and a human second. It has absolutely nothing to do with their acting even though that's what you asked for. It has everything to do with them. Much like the interview with First, Khaotung, and Sea, Joong and Dunk in their interviews are ridiculous. They resort to tomfoolery and instead of answering the questions, they start arguing about the most trivial details. ForceBook and GeminiFourth do this, but add in JoongDunk's live streams and Safe House footage, and I don't know how they get anything done when filming because they are either arguing, dancing, napping, or giggling. Hidden Agenda yesterday, please!

yes, you can get fluttery feelings watching the actors flirt in real life or interviews in the same way you get when you watch their shows. That's why they do it!!! You guys have no idea how invested I am in Firstkhao's joint house. How genuinely happy I was when Off showed up for Gun's 30th on the beach and their pictures sharing a room.

I've seen people when asked directly if they ship go into extremely defensive rants about how they respect actor's privacy and then go read fanfic about them falling in love even though that's shipping too. i know people who write rpf but can't own up to it for fear of judgement.

i don't understand the push for calling every toxic behavior as shipping and everything else as TOTALLY NORMAL FAN ENGAGMENT I PROMISE. No boo, you're shipping. I'm shipping. We are all shipping.

at the end of the day, no one is immune to an excellent story, real or fake. your feelings are real and there's nothing wrong with owning it. you're not getting extra bonus fandom points for never feeling compelled by actors engaging in consensual fanservice and you're not failing being a fan for 'falling for it' either. just...have fun. life is hard.

Favorite Thai QL: Hmmm, if you asked me last year, I would've said Bad Buddy. However, I've really thought about it these past few months if it is still truly my favorite and with all the other QLs I've seen since and the way that my tastes in media have kind of changed, I've realized that I don't feel as attached to it the way I used to. It's still one of my all time favs and an incredible and amazing BL but I don't think I can really say it's my number one fav anymore. So my number one fav now is A Tale of Thousand Stars with Triage and Never Let Me Go following closely behind.

Favorite Pairing: Palmnueng my beloveds <3 These two are always on my mind.

Most underrated actor: Um, I don't really know. Most of the actors in the Thai QL shows I've seen are pretty well known and have pretty sizable fandoms.

Favorite Character: Palm from Never Let Me Go. I love this love struck boy so much!

Favorite Side Character: Ink from Bad Buddy. She is an icon, she is the moment!

Favorite scene in a QL: Palmnueng dance scene in Never Let Me Go episode 11. That scene rewired my brain chemistry.

Favorite line in a QL: "We might not be able to change people around us, but they couldn't change the two of us either." -from Bad Buddy Episode 12

Most Anticipated QL (& why): 23.5 Degrees by a long shot. I'm so so so so so so SO SO SO SO EXCITED FOR IT!!!!! LET'S GO LESBIANS LET'S GOOOOOO!!!!! I hope it will start airing soon!

Healthiest relationship in a QL: Patpran from Bad Buddy.

Most toxic relationship in a QL: Ummm, idk about this one either.

Guilty pleasure series: My Tee. The show is a hot mess with shoddy audio (seriously tf happened to the audio in this show???) and a shoddy script especially towards the end of the show but I still really enjoyed watching it because the actors are all great in it and Frankdrake's amazing chemistry CARRIES this hot mess of a show (2gether really wasted their chemistry!). Also the side couple played by Neophuwin are so adorable too. I wish Frankdrake got a better BL to star in. At least their Our Skyy ep was genuinely really good.

Most underrated series: Triage. This show is incredible and amazing and deserves a huge international fandom that it wasn't able to get bc AISPlay gatekeeped this show from international fans. I was hoping that they'd make this show more accessible to international audiences by the time Transplant started airing bc this show is essentially a prologue to Transplant but that doesn't look like it's happening anymore since Tul retired from acting. Still hope they eventually do make Triage legally accessible to an international audience because it's genuinely such a great fantasy BL.

no because it’s kind of hilarious to me. it’s been said before but i find the poddgawin (dbk) -> gawinfirst (not me) and poddkhao (tonhon chonlatee) -> firstkhao (the eclipse, mlc, only friends) fascinating and also the ships are crazy more so when you dig even the slightest bit deeper. obviously there’s gawinkrist now (be my favorite) and we’ve had non-endgame firstmix and earthkhao (mlc) as well as fluke first and an ohmfirst kiss (the shipper) and obviously there was ohmnanon (bad buddy) and ohmsingto (hctm) and that brings us to kristsingto (sotus) and also there was a kristnew kiss (love beyond frontier) and earthnew (waterboyy) and another obvious one, taynew (dbk) and there’s off kissing singto’s hands and making flirtatious jokes to neo (richy rich) and of course before neomark (only friends) and neolouis (futs, the eclipse) there was neophuwin and i need to stop because god i’m going to keep talking forever if i continue cuz there’s so much more to mention

okay let's get into it.

first and khao were EXCELLENT choices 10/10 there i love that gmm is finally giving khao roles he deserves and first never misses as we all know.

next neo is also a 10/10 excellent choice same thing for him as khao i love that he finally gets serious roles where he gets to show off his range.

now the juicy stuff. why is mark in this. his role in bad buddy was so minor they could've replaced him with a cardboard cutout and nobody would've noticed. (in general what happened with neoluis this year??? where did they go???? why is it all neomark now???) so in my ideal only friends cast i would take out mark and replace him with phuwin. bc i don't like pond he can't keep up with phuwin imo and also i miss neophuwin they would be amazing in this too.

then.... forcebook. listen i just think they're a bit boring and idk why they would put them in a show that requires strong acting since their acting is more reserved. so i would take them both out. and replace them with –now bear with me here– drake and jimmy. ...... OKAY LISTEN. these two are both great actors drake has the asshole role DOWN he would be amazing at this. and jimmy (in my humble opinion) is at his best when he's playing an absolute cunt of a character. he was amazing at being wai (esp at the beginning of bad buddy before his character went to shit) and also we were so robbed with waikorn.

tldr: in conclusion, my ideal only friends cast would be: first & khao, neo & phuwin, drake & jimmy

hmmm... I don't really care tbh since offguntaynew are getting their own concert anyways. but I must admit I do feel kinda weird about gmmtv's strategy of separating these two ships which are their oldest legacy ships from the other newer ones, when before they usually blended their legacy ships with newer ones in the same events (see y i love you 2019 with offguntaynew but also drakefrank & neophuwin.) so I'm not sure excluding ogtn like that is the best thing tbh, but also since I don't care about half of gmmtv's new ships I don't mind getting my separated offguntay content either lol.

Hello ^^ I have a question regarding Our Skyy: The Eclipse. I was wondering if it'll be just AkkAyan, or is there a chance for a glimpse of KhanThua as well? Do you mayhaps know anything about that? Thank you kindly in advance <3

hi! so sadly I can't really answer in advance as it depends. in the pickrome episode of our skyy, the side ship porschemma wasn't there, but in the morktee episode, the side ship morngord WAS there & had cute scenes. I think the only indicator is that at the time gmmtv was pushing neophuwin as a stable ship of theirs whereas the actors for porschemma had left gmmtv. since neolouis seem to be either dead or at least on pause for 2023, they probably won't be in it? but they might surprise us, though. but as someone who waited a year for the theory of love special episode to include my fave ship untwo only for it to not have earth bc he was filming 1000 stars... I'd say manage your expectations babe 😬
