I've been watching RENT every year, sometimes multiple times, since 2009, because I can guarantee a cry (I'm not good at emotions and don't cry when it would make sense to). All this time I've been watching a pirated copy I downloaded back then.

I just watched it with my roommates and there's a SOLID 25min of that movie I HAVE NEVER SEEN. I remember thinking every time, "MAN this was not well-written, there's just a jump to this next part, like... why did she say that? Why are they fighting? What happened? Ah well." and just... NOT QUESTIONING IT.

There's entire scenes and TWO WHOLE SONGS I never experienced before. Oh man this is just.. A Lot.
