wip screenshots of me building neopia central in minecraft

money tree will get some work i just already did it once before crashing so i didnt put 100% in. will probably polish a bit later. rainbow pool still needs its rainbow but i'm adding that later

flipping some stuff around so its facing the path instead of uselessly pointing out into the middle of nowhere. as cool as an overhead comparison shot would be, im mostly doing this to like, walk around in and stuff

yellow is just a general outline of the path. probably not gonna go with carpet by the end, but im still examining my options in that regard so im not filling it in yet.

food shop exterior is done, but i need to do its insides still. idk how ill handle the insides entirely different window layout yet though. (tbh im just super happy it has a background item so im not running off of one shopkeeper image)

gave roo island building a simple interior just because it looks silly without one. i know gameplay wise it takes you to roo island, but in-universe, i genuinely dont know what purpose the building itself serves

ok so i HAVE been going through the plot comic to edit it lol and. well i guess i can’t say for sure because we don’t know where it’s going. but either there are some plot holes or nyx is being incredibly suspicious

i do generally agree with the frustration at the ui and advertising changes on this site and on web 2.0 in general these days but i think its very funny how ppl treated the one piece thing like it was a uniquely egregious sign of web 2.0 decay as if the 2000's neopets experience wasn't logging on to look at the site news and see that the headline was "TAKE YOUR NEOPETS TO THE NEW MOUNTAIN DEW STORE IN NEOPIA CENTRAL AND SATE THEIR HUNGER WITH BAJA BLAST"

It's so funny to me that Kiko Lake is being attacked and grey'd, yet everyone's concern is that it means Neopia Central is probably next. Not even the council of leaders are safe from donations, it seems.
