I think it’s cute how at first, Annabeth initiated everything in their relationship. But as time goes by, Percy gets more and more confident, even to the point where he’s kissing Annabeth shamelessly in front of Piper, the kiss lasting so long it leaves both girls breathless and red in the face.

percy canonically being a writer and writing the PJO books in the universe and having them published is so funny, because a classmate he had when he was in the middle of the war and blowing up schools could randomly search up his name one day and find a whole five books dedicated to what happened then

which would be even funnier if said person had a podcast dedicated to unsolved mysteries and went on a multiple episode tangent about this whole thing

We don‘t talk enough about Nico‘s tartaros trauma??? Boy went through Tartaros ALONE. We also don‘t talk enough about Percy and Annabeth‘s Tartaros trauma but at least they had each other. Nico did not. Also he saw how it really looked. As far I remember Percy only saw a glimpse of it for a moment.

Nico hates his cabin. He despises it. There's coffins in it, but they're for him. He's not a vampire. One morning, 3 am, he is sick of laying in a coffin, so he takes his blanket and wraps it around himself like a cape.

He leaves his cabin and goes to Apollo cabin where he knocks way louder than expected. He hears groans coming from a bunch of different cabins, but he ignores them. He waits for the door to open, showing one of Will's siblings.

"Will! Your boyfriend is here! Again!"

Nico just walks in, already routine, and stops at Will's bunk bed. Luckily, Will has the bottom, so Nico just climbs into it and lays oo the other teen. "Good night."

Will smiled as his siblings roll their eyes, but they're used to it. He kissed the top of Nico's head as the lights go off again. He played with Nico's hair until he fell asleep.

He likes feeling Nico's heart beating against his as they sleep. It's comforting.

something I really loved about tsats was how matter of factly it showed that helping others is Nico's main personality trait. Always, everyone, no distinction. Will knows it. Superior entities know it. It's not treated as a revelation or a fatal tlaw, it's just a fact. A friend, a stranger, a monster, a dead one, even a mania, the lostest of lost souls. Nico will automatically move to help them, no question or hesitation. It's just the obvious reaction for him, because he was so broken he'd wished someone helped him. He's the only one in the series. He's the kindest in the series. Kindest to life, in all of its forms. That's one of the points of the book, after all. Will is a healer and he preserves life as it is, but stops there. Nico considers it all worthy. I adore this contrast. I adore Nico. Nico got hurt as a child and kept getting hurt as a teenager. He got hurt by entities he couldn't understand and from his own family. He got hurt when he didn't know who he was and by who he was. He raged about it, depressed about it, hunger-striked and hid. And then, he chose kindness. He took his own life in hia hands and found himself. He fixed his relationship with his father, istead of starting a war about it. He unified two camps that had both rejected him and fought for them. He tried stopping Geae himself so the demigod who'd got his sister killed wouldn't have to face her. He chose kindness. Always.

This continues with Hades having no clue what's happening and Poseidon yelling at him with Demeter egging him and adding her own snide comments.

Persephone of course is filming the whole thing and eating popcorn with a poker Queen face on and laughing internally because she knows the entire context..
