I'm really down today. Like in all my years in school this is the worst I've felt and the saddest part is that I'll still feel like even worse in future. Nigerian lecturers are the worst and I do not wish them any good thing. What I've experienced today is one of the most inhumane, wicked and evil things and it truly makes me wonder how far gone we are as a species.
Why in earth would you frustrate people who are just trying their best? People that you don't know their issues? People that are barely surviving and are struggling to live... You don't even know if they want to be here..in school or even alive yet you use them for entertainment, play with their minds and cause them mental issues. People that are half your age, younger than your kids or even the same age.
No one, absolutely no one can understand how I feel right now. I made and I am still making an effort to be here and not turn to the wrong crowd cause it's so freaking easy to do that but I don't want to do that. I don't know how to express my sadness and frustrations. I've always said that school was, is and will always be a scam. Education is not.
Until teachers/lecturers/professors start doing better, you'll remain one of the reasons why your countries are going backwards and why children have depression and why the suicide rate is so freaking high!!!!

The Matrilineal Legacy of African Women: Women Leaders of Ancient Ghana
The history class in post-independent Nigeria introduced the writer to the rich heritage of ancient Ghana, where women held leadership roles in a matrilineal society. This societal structure allowed women to wield influence, participate in governance ...
I was 11 years old when I was taught this in my history class in post independent Nigeria. History, Literature and economics where the subjects in which I excelled. The text book we used in form 1 or year 7 in the UK was written by foremost African historian JF Ade Ajayi. I often wish that our children in Western Diaspora were taught a bit of their own history thereby strengthening their sense of…

"Nigerians Invest $340.84 Million in Education Over Six Months, Says CBN"
A recent report shows that Nigerians who want to study abroad spent $340.84 million on their university applications from January to June 2023. This information comes from the Central Bank of Nigeria's data on money spent on foreign education. In April 2023, people spent $40.54 million on foreign education, and in May 2023, it was $48.81 million. However, in June 2023, the spending decreased to $32.61 million. Compared to the first quarter of 2023, this is a drop of $96.92 million, or 44.28%. ALSO READ: Interesting stories If we look at the figures from the second quarter of 2022, the situation is worse, with a 50.5% decrease of $124.42 million. The experts believe that the Central Bank's inability to meet the demand for foreign exchange meant that students had to get dollars from Bureau De Change operators because banks were slow in processing their Form A applications. LEARN MORE: Read blogs and articles here!!! Recent data from the UK's Home Office shows a big increase in the number of study visas given to Nigerians. As of June 2022, 65,929 study visas were issued, compared to 20,427 during the same period in 2021. The Central Bank has a backlog of forex demand on the official market, which forces people and businesses to turn to the black market for dollars. This problem is because Nigeria's income from exports has been decreasing due to less investment and lower oil exports. Dr. Anderson Ezeibe, the National President of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, explained that the government's lack of investment in the education sector has had a negative impact. He said that schools in Nigeria need better facilities and equipment to produce well-trained graduates. To solve this, the government should invest more in education so that there's no need for people to study abroad. ALSO CHECK: Affordable products Read the full article

And people keep trying to justify Israel's existence on the basis that it is somehow a safe place for the preservation of Jewish people and their culture and not only is that an awful argument for establishing a Settler Colonist Apartheid State but it's not even true. Like the state is politically and economically dominated by Ashkenazi Jews from Northern Europe and their descendants. While not as severely mistreated as Palestinians, there is still a significant disparity between the European and Non-European Jews in terms of income and education. Non-European Jews are still regularly subject to interpersonal bigotry (hell earlier this year there was a news story about a viral video where Ashkenazi girls in a Purim made a skit mocking the Mizrahi) and Israel government policies towards non-Ashkenazi migrants have done severe damage to their social structure and cultural traditions. Not to mention the fact that the whole reason why many Mizrahi migrated in the first place was to escape the violence caused by European Jews committing atrocities in their name, tearing communities apart as neighbours that had peacefully co-existed for centuries found themselves on opposite sides of this new ethno-religious conflict
There have even been attempts in Israeli history at the forceful assimilation or even biological reduction of non-European Jews; the kidnapping and adoption of Yemeni Jewish children in the 1950s is significant example of the former while the forced contraception of Beta Israeli (Ethiopean Jewish migrants) with the explicit intention of reducing their population's birth rate is an example of the latter. There's also very clear favouritism when it comes to recent converts; white Afrikaner converts are given the right of Aliyah while Nigerian Igbos are not. Like the fact of the matter is that Israel's fundamental nature is as a European Settler Colony, incredibly racist not only towards the indigenous Palestinians but the many Non-European Jews it claims to represent. It's an outpost of Western Imperialism, not a haven for the Jewish people. If it was ever meant to be the latter than it has failed miserably
