Paranormal Order Community Survival Guide (and other things you need to know for Saturday)

Ok, let's start. First of all, I've been in the Paranormal Order community since the first live season announcement. I've seen this community change so many times and I think it would be cool to warn a few things for those who are going to see Saturday's episode with the global creators.

Despite the recent problems - which have been translated here - the community is not complicated to deal with, you just need to know where to enter and where to stay to have a good experience. So, here are some tips.

1 - Watch the rpg live with the chat CLOSED.

The Paranormal Order live chat IS NOT the regular stream chat. This is one of the biggest tabletop RPG projects in Brazil and, because of this, it is very difficult to have 100% control of the chat.

Obviously, the moderators already have years of experience to deal with. The chat will be 100% in submode and only the Tuesday chat, which is when the episode replays for those who missed it on Saturday, will be open to everyone.

However, this does not prevent hate comments from happening in the chat, as many do not watch Cellbit regularly and just sub to talk in the chat/watch the episode without ads. It's no joke, the rpg chat is known for being a toxic chat that has made players cry in the middle of the session when it was still online.

2 - If you see any hate, ignore it or make a joke.

It's more of a personal recommendation. Even within the community, the essential thing is to ignore hate that has few likes or things like that so it doesn't spread OR turn into a copypasta.

Generally on Twitter it's easier to ignore, because you can just filter things and rarely does anyone post hate on the tag where we comment the live.

MAYBE hate can happen from outside the community, we have suffered a lot of hate for years because it is a "nerd thing" and/or it is a Cellbit's project, which receives a lot of hate here in Brazil and we suffered from hate for a long time. I don't know if it will happen in this episode since the community is much larger, but it's just a warning that it could happen.

But as the old saying goes in the fandom: talking bad about Order gets likes on Twitter.

3 - Some people who watch Ordem are unhappy.

Nothing really serious, but some people in the community don't like QSMP out of sheer annoyance with the project and are frustrated with Saturday's episode because they expected something from the main story - which they've already been warned won't happen until Enigma of Fear comes out.

Which brings us to the Discord situation that I mentioned at the beginning of the post. Just situating what is happening, ignore these people and support Cellbit, which is doing his best.

Paranormal Order is his life project, we all want to give as much support as possible despite these people who call themselves fans and seem to hate the project.

4 - General dates and stuffs.

It's an independent story from the main story and will be in English, so don't worry about needing to watch past seasons to understand because the basis will be explained in the episode.

The episode will happen live on Saturday, September 23rd at 6pm BRT. I saw some people asking and no, it's not a pre-recorded video being show in live, everything is 100% done on the spot.

If you missed the episode, a rerun will take place on Tuesday at the same time and the vod will be for subs only. However, you can still wait until it comes out Thursday on YouTube for free on the official channel.

On average, typical episodes last 4-5 hours. However, as it is a oneshot, it may last 6 hours but Cellbit always warns you in advance if the episode is too long.

The episodes have breaks for you to go to the bathroom or stretch your legs and for the players to rest a little.

The Order fandom does a LOT of live tweets at the time of the episode, the fun is seeing everyone commenting together so we use a # specific to each campaign. In this campaign, we will use #OPQ and you can also use it to post memes and fanarts.

When the episode starts, you will be notified on the official Twitter. But there are two things: IT'S ALWAYS DELAYED and THERE'S ALWAYS A TIMER. So don't worry about arriving at exactly 6pm BRT, you'll have a little time to prepare until the episode actually starts.

5 - We organize ourselves on Twitter.

The order fandom is very active on Twitter and always does dynamics with all profiles and we upload a sentence on the day of the episode to give hype. Even Wiki and some official Order players participate.

We are still deciding on the phrase we will upload to tts, so if you want to help, just keep an eye on the brazilians in the fandom. However, the pack has already been decided and if you want to participate in the fun. Here's what my profile looks like.

I think this is the basis of what you need to know, maybe I'll reblog adding things later if I remember too much. The Ordem community is not a monster, but I'm giving you these tips so you can live in peace in it.

During the finale, specifically Ari screaming at Fable, ny brain was yelling that one audio that says "murder me like you murdered my mother" multiple times, screaming, cuz Ari deserved to say that to his face, she deserved to tell that bastard how much *damage* he caused not only to their family but to thousands of others, to tell him how much of a fucking asshole he is for tearing thousands of souls just trying to live a peaceful afterlife away from their home, to tear the allays away from each other, to kill those he did.

He's the reason (among others but still) that they lost so much, the reason she can't look her siblings in the eyes and say that they can go home, the reason their friends lost family, the reason they had to fight so much just so the allays weren't vexed, and even if they lost some of those fights, she still *tries*

Not to leave out what he's done to their new family, to Fenris, to Rae, to heck even Ven, to *everyone*, he's the root of so much suffering and he *still* tried to make them forgive him, make them think he's the good guy even though he's done so fucking much to them, like they would turn a blind eye to what he's done

Anyways I'm gonna go rewatch Ari VODS and probably cry a lil bit cuz i love her✌️

Everything he saw made him want to throw up and cry and scream. They had abandoned their brothers, their vode to this poor excuse of a life. They had acted like they were the ones suffering and the Guards were poor excuses of soldiers. They chose to believe the Corries were safe, and then condemned them for this supposed easy life. He didn't deserve to be called a vod, none of them Fronties did, when they’d left Coruscant hurt their own so badly without even trying to see it.  Their vode were trapped in one of the deadliest war zones of the Galaxy, securely nestled deep into homefront, deep into enemy lines, dying like flies against plasma.  And they had chosen to look away. They had chosen to help close the trap even more tightly around them. He had helped hurt and killed brothers by letting them down.  But now he knew.

They were able to see how much he was suffering, and how hard it was when he got out of Rehab, and they're determined that Misfit won't relapse, not so long as they have any say.

They hated that he was willing to join the Rebellion, but because the Skirata clan is made up of bounty hunters, it's not surprising for the Rebellion to see a random Skirata bounty hunter popping in to check up on Misfit.

His 501st brothers would be so, so proud of him.

For a long time, years, Echo believes that Misfit either died in the Jedi Purge (it's no secret that Misfit had issues with authority, after all) or that he succumbed to his addiction. The idea broke his heart, of course. Misfit was his baby brother, and the idea of him being dead in a spice house somewhere on Coruscant is enough to push him to tears some days. So Echo deals with it by not thinking about his baby brother. And then, late one evening, after Omega joins the Rebellion, she calls Echo. Her eyes are bright and her hair hangs in loose curls around her face, and she's so excited that she's practically vibrating. "I met a vod!" She says, before anyone can ask why she's so excited, "His name is Misfit, and he's 40ish, and he's offered to teach me how to maintain my ship—" Echo chokes on his drink, "Misfit?" "Yeah! He's right here—" Omega vanishes from the screen for a moment, and is replaced by a still very young-looking Misfit. Echo says nothing for a moment, and before he knows it, he's crying, "You look so healthy, Misfit!"

I could barely watch the streams today for a million reasons so I went back to watch Pac's VOD and despite most of their talk being off-rp (and mostly about Pac and Forever crying about their wallets after the Las Vegas trip) there was a small RP moment of Forever lamenting (jokingly) that while he was suffering in the Nether, Pac and Bagi were trying to steal stuff from his storage while he takes off his shirt to show the effects of his trip.

Pac jokes about how at least he has a six-pack and then they quickly move on.

I wonder if someone else will question him about it or it will be The Federation that will notice the infection.

lay your weary head to rest (long title is long) is actually the Dogma whump fic I originally intended to write, the one FUBAR and SNAFU resulted from. In short...Dogma gets an abusive plant parent.

Slightly longer: Torrent (or rather...Rex, Fives, Jesse, Hardcase, Tup and Dogma) lands on a creepy alien planet to map a creepy ancient giant temple. Anakin ran off bc Palps called and is not there with them, and they all expect it's gonna be a boring mission, perfect for some field training for Tup and Dogma.

Little do they know, this temple wasn't built to worship something...but to keep it contained. (And because it's you, and I live for your praise XD, an excerpt.)

Towards the back of the room stood Dogma, his back to them, swaying slightly on his feet like a vod too tired to stand straight. And in front of him was…something. A plant of some kind, Rex realized as they shone their lights over the mass. Massive, dark green, looking mostly dead even as the huge vines and dark purplish-red flowers were writhing weakly. The whole thing looked disturbingly fleshy. The smell hit him next, even through his bucket. Sweet and rotting, the kind of scent you tasted all the way down your throat. Dogma was still just standing there. “Private! Step away from there at once!” Rex shouted, hoping to wake the instinctual reaction to orders that was drilled into all of them (and especially into Dogma), and was so hard to break, would work in their favor just this once. Dogma twitched, as if startled, and looked over his shoulder at them, looking dazed. “It’s calling me, sir.” he said softly, almost dreamily. “Has been for days, but I didn’t know what it was. It says I can rest here.” His lips trembled a bit. “I’m so tired, Captain.” “We have a nice, comfy bedroll with your name on it at camp, Dogma.” Fives called out, his blaster aimed steadily at the plant growth. Force, it was huge; would blaster shots even hurt this thing?

Once more with Feeling is a pretty straightforward Time Loop AU, from the POV of the batch. They all need a few days to even realize they're in a loop, and try fruitleslly to find a way out, to no avail.

Until they realize it hit their entire batch...except for Fox apparently. Or maybe it did and he just didn't realize? (Yet more evidence that the Guard has easy, cushy duties).

But no, Fox really doesn't seem to be aware of the loop.

And then they realize the event that triggers the loop to start over is Fox's death.

And the assassin AU is a Bacara/Fox Mr. and Mrs. Smith AU, following the plot more or less...or maybe more the setting. wholly inspired by that nightly housebattle-turning-to-smut scene.

Bacara grabbed the spare magazine, listening intently while pressed against the wall and trying to keep both doors in sight. Fox had been surprisingly sneaky, and he wasn't sure he'd be able to hear him move from the kitchen. "I can't believe you'd betray me like this." Fox's voice was difficult to locate due to the tiles, but Bacara figured he'd crouch behind the kitchen island. "I'm not the only one who lied about certain things, sweetheart mine!" he called back to cover the sound of the clip sliding into his gun. "But at the least I don't have to suffer through another night with your ice cold feet pressing against my shins." There was an indignant noise. "You know I have poor circulation!" Something rolled through the open doorway. A grenade.

ok its time for my. traditional post-stream moment (well. post-vod considering the circumstances) where i try to condense all my thoughts into a singular post especially rn since i didn’t liveblog so people not watching don’t have to see it

um. okay uh well first off im still crying, that should give you…? an idea of the effect this stream had on me…?

im still holding onto hope for this story to be about healing but if it ends grim and the only hope is ‘oooh volume II blank slate woo’ i don’t know what i’ll do with myself LOL (despair). but i’d like to think if wilbur didn’t kill off his character. i’d like to think tommy wouldn’t either. but like always in extremely tense dangerous points in the story before i’ve never believed they would die like i never thought cwilbur would die yknow. but i think. well this is the most scared ive been for lore since um well ever actually i think

first off. gonna try to avoid talking about dream as much as possible even his character.  just hope people aren’t gonna take the justifications he and cpunz give for the . Horribly Fucked Up shit theyre doing as valid and start running with ‘oooh cdream was in the right and the victim all along!!’ but who am i kidding they probably have already. ill admit i didn’t see the hydra-type plan coming, with one not being killable if the other’s alive so that was a twist

UMM lord that whole lava room scene was . indescribable levels of fucked up and dont get me started on how cdream managed to convince ctommy that all the shit and abuse he’s suffered (even up to doomsday) was HIS FAULT and we see that resurface not even an hour later when ctommy tells ctubbo every bad situation theyve had since the start of the server has been his fault. don’t get me started

when they broke character because tommy couldnt do the stunt of aiming the throw of the discs JDJZDJJDSJ appreciated the break of the tension it made everything worse after in comparison. even tommy said he was on the ‘verge of tears irl before that’

and then the nuke. we got SO SO CLOSE to an acknowledgment of the nuke plan. of c!rocketduo’s plan to kill ctommy. but honestly while we didn’t get it outwardly i’ll take ctommy hesitance and like. pause after ctubbo said cjack helped him & ctommy brought up the explosion near him as him putting together the pieces. ill pretend just for my own sake. SPEAKING OF ctommy now knows cranboo was the one who set up the explosions (under mind control obviously) that stuck him in the prison with cdream and got him killed!!! can this boy catch a break. well he’s dying tomorrow so i guess he’s getting a very long break (<- just cried for an hour at that prospect)

and then. ctommy setting up the plan to trade his life for everyone else’s.

okay so like we all saw it coming but Ummmmmmmm well still a punch to the gut. Ummmmmmm. Ummmmm dealing well with this info. also ctommy screaming at ctubbo to ‘stop being optimistic’ and ‘its over, theyve lost’ and how he needs to just do this and die and its the end. Hahahahhahaha disc war finale roles flipped amirite. now ctubbos desperately clinging onto an alternate solution and ctommys the one who’s so jaded, so desperate that he’s convinced he needs to die (and that he deserves to. let’s be real ctommy thinks he deserves to die because he believes he’s at fault for the shit he and the others have been through. and if he dies without anyone having fucking proved him wrong. well.)

and like in my mind this story has always been about healing, like i said. and i’d genuinely be surprised if tommy chose an absolutely grim ending for his character (dying for everyone, sure a hero’s death, but dying still thinking he’s at fault for it all. that’s not just tragic that’s unnecessary.) but yknow at this point

the part that got me the worst was the whole bit after they started walking away from the nuke site. like they started walking towards and on the prime path and talking about how it was the last time and Uhm wellllllllll yes so maybe i cried fuck off . like the LAST TIME do you realise this???? LAST TIME c!clingyduo walked the prime path. and when ctommy started talking about lmanberg. looking at the flag. ASKING CTUBBO THAT, AFTER HIS DEATH, THE FLAG BE PUT UP THERE TO FLY IN THE WIND. ASKING CTUBBO TO TELL EVERYONE, INCLUDING HIS SON AND HIS SON’S CHILDREN, THE STORIES OF THEM AND THE OTHERS AND LMANBERG. looking at the lmanberg pictures. sitting on the bench together but there’s no music anymore because the discs are gone but that’s alright, it’s so pretty, look at the sunset tommy isn’t it so pretty? yeah it is. i’m gonna die tomorrow tubbo

like its all always been about lmanberg because it was about them. and i know people are gonna run with cpunz’s ‘nations exclude those not part of it’ argument, but lmanberg was about the community. like ill never say this enough lmanberg was literally family like that’s what they were all fighting for or clinging onto or running away from . and it was their project and to cwilbur it was ctommy and they were all important but ctommy was the heart of it all. he gave everything for it, for them really. over and over and now he wants ctubbo to tell those stories after he’s gone because he plans to walk in tomorrow at eighteen years old in a place where he’s only known trauma and death, walk in there and lure his abuser and his partner and then take a nuke for everyone. youngest one on that server. and yeah they’re not kids anymore (according to them) but they are they’re fucking kids ctommy is so tragic i feel fucking ill

and now its past midnight meaning Today is. final ctommy stream ever. Um well it has not sinked in yet. two years and probably my favourite character of all time ending Today and most likely dying. brother i don’t know what i’ll do with myself if he dies im genuinely so embarrassingly attached to this character and the others and this story. and so much of it feels so hollow when they walk around the server and there’s no one. idk whatever happens tomorrow i’ll still be so fucking glad for this story no matter how fucked up some things have been recently and no matter how much wasted potential there was. this is disgustingly sappy but tbh you clicked ‘read more’ on this post like u signed up for this. anyway ctommy my shining star whatever happens tomorrow youve been the best ever🌟🌟🌟 my favourite little guy in the whole wide world literally a star

Four calls to you. Five to Anakin. Six to Ben, because maybe he'll answer. Three more to you. Each and every one denied immediately, the only semblance he gets of your voices being your voicemail messages.

He leaves several for each of you, each message progressively getting more panicked and sad as he rambles through each one. Apologizing. Apologizing for sending you home. For not being there. For not being able to save you or the children.

You're all just... gone. How? How can that be? He just saw each of you not long ago... and now you're... now you're dead.

When Cole and Chernan have rushed out to fly around and help any Jedi they can, that's when Kaz breaks, his sobs forcing their way violently out of his chest and echoing in the barren throne room.

Barren except for Galin, who stays by his side, silently crying with him. Galin, you're very best friend, who could not save you either.

How do soldiers bred for war let such a thing happen to such good people? Why didn't they see this coming?

Only when Kaz is gasping desperately for air does Galin lay a gentle hand on the man's shoulder, "Breathe," He whispers, face crumpling as Kaz screams in agony. "B-Breathe Kaz. You have to breathe, vod."

"Why?!" He roars, shaking his head in pure disbelief and grief. "Wh-Why wasn't it me?!"

Galin shakes his head a little, his shoulders shaking with a sob he forces to stay silent. "I- I dunno," he manages, "I dunno. Your family needs you to live, Kaz. To carry on the legacy. And to protect Mandalore."

"M-My family- my family is gone," he chokes out, nearly throwing up with how hard he's sobbing, "My- why- I am cursed." Everyone he loves, dies. His mother. His spouses. His children.

What kind of father is he, to let his children die? With no protection?

Did any of you see it coming? Did you suffer? Probably. With the videos he's seen... probably.

"Leave me," Kaz whispers, staring at the floor, having stopped sobbing sometime during those thoughts. He doesn't even know when. The tears are still flowing, but the grief is so immense that he's almost... numb.

Galin studies him for a long moment in concern. What will he do if Galin leaves him alone? "What- I don't know if-"

"Leave. Me." He says slower, his eyes tracing a line between the tiles on the floor.

Galin gulps and slowly backs toward the door, taking a deep, shaky breath as he exits the throne room. He takes his own comm out and tries to call you himself, sliding down the wall in the hallway and dropping his head in his hands as it reaches your voicemail too. Your full voicemail. Kaz must have called more than everyone thought.

He lets the comm fall to the floor as he sobs quietly to himself, not moving an inch further from the door. Kaz may need him. And he couldn't protect any of you, but he can try and look after Kaz for you.

What will Chernan and Cole do when they can't find you? They're still in denial. Still in focus mode.

What happens when everyone starts truly grieving? Will Mandalore's court crumble just as well?

Their end would be less violent than yours. That, Galin is sure of.

I primarily have thoughts about Aus now that I have my general thoughts on the show but. I'm so excited about what the team's going to have for us next??? I'm trying not to speculate on generation 2 since gen 1 completely subverted my expectations and I'm trying not to have a repeat of that LMAO but I am patiently waiting in my enclosure (<- surviving off of fanfiction)

I just think it's interesting like. The moral dilemma of the final decision.
