Az egészségügy és gyógyszeripar különleges kihívások elé állítja a kommunikációs szakembereket. 2023-ban olyan fontos projektekben is részt vehettünk, amely révén újszülött kisgyermekek életén is segíthettünk, ez az SMA önkéntes újszülöttkori program népszerűsítésében rejlett.

A spinális muszkuláris atrófia (avagy SMA) olyan ritka genetikai betegség, amely világszerte körülbelül minden tízezredik embert érinti  és visszafordíthatatlan, progresszív izomsorvadáshoz vezethet. Az SMA önkéntes újszülöttkori szűrési program 2022. november elsején indult el. Az ingyenes szűrés népszerűsítésében a FleishmanHillard Café nyújtott kommunikációs támogatást a Mizse és a Novartis közös, közel 9 hónapig tartó edukációs kampányában.

Ennek keretein belül nem csak különböző sajtóanyagok elkészítésével, interjúk és médiapartneri együttműködések megszervezésével segítettük ennek a fontos ügynek a nagyobb nyilvánosság elé kerülését, hanem a kampány számára külön logó és grafikai anyagok megterveztetésével is. Az egyik fő aktivitásunkként ötmillió 1.5 literes Mizse ásványvízpalackon jelent meg rövid tájékoztatás a gerincvelői izomsorvadásról, valamint a mintaprogram keretében elérhető ingyenes újszülöttkori szűréséről.

A kampány alatt folyamatosan növekedett a szülők önkéntes csatlakozása, összességében a megszületett kisbabák 74,3%-ánál történt SMA-szűrés. A program igazi sikerét azonban az mutatja, hogy a szűrések révén 9 kisgyermeknél mutatták ki az SMA-t, a korai felismerésnek hála pedig már el is kezdték kapni a szükséges kezelést.

Büszkék vagyunk arra, hogy ebben a rendkívül fontos projektekben nyújthattunk segítséget, mely révén újszülött kisgyermekek életén is segíthetünk.
