Optical Ground Wire (OPGW): The Backbone of Reliable and Efficient Power Transmission Networks
Tumblr media
The transmission of electrical power requires a robust network that is reliable, efficient, and safe. One of the critical components of this network is the Optical Ground Wire (OPGW). OPGW is a type of cable that is installed on high-voltage power transmission lines. It is a composite cable that combines optical fibers and conductive wires. The optical fibers are used for communication purposes, while the conductive wires are used for power transmission.
OPGW was first introduced in the 1980s and has since become a popular choice for power transmission networks. One of the primary benefits of OPGW is its ability to provide a reliable means of communication for the power transmission network. The optical fibers in the OPGW cable allow for real-time monitoring of the power transmission network, enabling faster detection and resolution of faults. This helps to minimize downtime and improve the overall reliability of the network.
In addition to its communication capabilities, OPGW also provides several other benefits. For example, OPGW is highly resistant to corrosion, making it a suitable choice for power transmission lines in harsh environments. OPGW also has a high tensile strength, which means that it can withstand high winds and other extreme weather conditions. This makes it a more reliable and durable option than traditional power transmission cables.
When it comes to installation, OPGW is relatively easy to install, with most installations taking place during the construction of new power transmission lines. During the installation process, the OPGW cable is strung along with the transmission lines, providing an additional layer of protection for the power transmission network.
The OPGW cable is also connected to OPGW fittings, which provide a secure connection between the cable and the transmission lines. OPGW fittings are typically made from high-strength materials, such as aluminum or steel, and are designed to withstand extreme weather conditions and other environmental factors.
OPGW joint boxes are also used in the installation of OPGW cables. These joint boxes provide a secure connection between two OPGW cables, allowing for the continuous transmission of power and data. OPGW joint boxes are typically made from high-strength materials, such as stainless steel or aluminum, and are designed to withstand extreme weather conditions and other environmental factors.
There are several suppliers of OPGW cables and fittings. These suppliers offer a range of OPGW products that are designed to meet the specific needs of different power transmission networks. In addition, there are many resources available online that provide more information about OPGW which provides insights into the latest developments and innovations in the field of OPGW.
In conclusion, Optical Ground Wire (OPGW) is a critical component of modern power transmission networks. It provides a reliable means of communication, improves the overall reliability of the network, and is highly resistant to corrosion and extreme weather conditions. With the availability of high-quality OPGW cables and fittings from leading suppliers, it is easier than ever to install and maintain a robust power transmission network that meets the needs of modern society.

“I wanna try something.”
Your words were innocent and sweet, but it was definitely not a question. Mirage seemed to get a hint that whatever was on your mind was not innocent and was on board almost immediately. He did not ask what you had in mind, he only asked what you needed.
“Sit down.” You smiled at him.
“On the ground?”
“No, on the wall,” You snorted at your own answer. “Yes, on the ground, silly.”
“No need for sarcasm,” Mirage pouted. “But, since I love you so much, I will do what you say.”
‘Yeah,’ you smiled at Mirage, him having no clue what you were thinking, ‘I’m sure it’s ‘cause you love me and not because you’re horny.’ Once Mirage sat down, you walked over to him. You looked over at him and cocked your head.
“You got me kicking my feet and shit,” Mirage smiled at you, his feet moving back and forth as he sat down and looked at you. “What’s on your mind?”
“When is Noah coming back?” Your eyes met Mirage’s optics and he thought for a moment.
“One hour.”
You nodded, still not answering Mirage’s question. Mirage did not ask again though, he trusted whatever you were doing would be fun. You walked closer to Mirage and you could tell he was growing more excited. His feet moved a little faster, and once you took position, they froze.
You straddled the Autobot as best you could. Your eyes looked up at his wide, bright blue optics and you gave him a sweet smile. “I want you to keep your hands to yourself.”
Mirage seemed stunned, “You always want me to touch you-”
“This is about you right now, baby. Keep your hands at your sides, or at least to yourself, until I give the okay,” You waited for him to nod, “okay?”
Mirage nodded and you gave a quick nod of acknowledgement back. You rested your hands on Mirage’s shoulders and pushed yourself up ever so slightly. Mirage watched with anticipation as you positioned yourself over him. His optics never left you, and you did not want them to.
Without saying a word, you started to slowly grind against him. Your eyes moved from his chest plate and up to his optics, and he looked like his spark was going to stop. His fingers twitched against the ground. He wanted to do nothing more than touch you, but Mirage listened well enough when it came to you and pleasure.
“You’re practically giving me a lap dance,” Mirage groaned, “And I can’t touch you?”
“Trust the process,” You kept your eyes on him. “And, feel free to uh, help yourself relieve any pressure if you need to.” Your movements did not falter. And neither did, Mirage’s. He was quick to get his spike out. “But-” Your movements stopped, “Don’t touch yourself, either.”
Mirage looked like he was going to explode. “How am I supposed to-”
One of your hands left his shoulder and you leaned back, slightly. Your hand ran up his spike, so gently you were sure Mirage really would explode. Mirage whimpered and you grew hot. His whines filled the air as you would grind against him and touch him. You were being so gentle, too gentle.
Mirage’s hips jerked upwards and hit you as you were coming down. You smiled to yourself, happy with the hold you had on Mirage. Your hand brushed over his neck, not on purpose, but that was going to change. As soon as you touched the wires Mirage jerked again. An idea struck you and you smirked to yourself. Mirage could tell something other than him was coming.
You leaned up, your hand moving from his spike and back to his shoulder. You were still grinding, mostly to help yourself at this point, because you knew what you were about to do was going to be all Mirage needed. Your lips hit the wires. You could feel Mirage twitch, his entire body jerked. His hips bucked up again and you smiled against him.
Your lips grazed the wires, a soft kiss being placed against them before you pulled back. Mirage whimpered again, close to begging. You just knew it. Your breath hit the wires and Mirage was becoming uncontrollably horny. Worse than before. Your lips pressed to them again and a loud cry escaped from Mirage. You smiled against him and nuzzled his neck, his hips bucking into you several times before you spoke.
“Okay.” You stayed still, lips still on the wires.
“‘Okay’ what?” Mirage was frantic, voice almost cracking.
“Touch me.” As soon as the words left your mouth, Mirage had the roles flipped. You were on the ground and Mirage was over you. You could feel Spike against your thigh. He stared down at you, ex-venting heavily. “C’mon,” Your voice was soft, “We gotta do this before Noah shows back up.”
Mirage was ready to fucking go, “I don’t even care if he finds us at this point. I hope we’re still going at it when he gets back!”
You had wound Mirage up and you couldn’t be more excited with the results. You were going to need to do that more often.

taptaptap…
You heard someone tapping on your bedroom window while you were playing video games. You kept the curtains down for a couple of days now so the light wouldn’t distract you from the screen. You didn’t see who it was but you knew nonetheless. You were too busy having fun with your new console so you didn’t budge.
taptapTAP!
“Bee! I know it’s you!”
taptaptaptaptap…
“Stop that! You’re going to break the window!” you shouted while not getting your eyes off the screen.
You could hear him buzzing like a sad bumblebee as he once again, but this time gently, tapped your window.
He made you pause your game. Sighing in irritation, you stood up and spread the curtains. You were welcomed by the sight of Bee’s wide puppy optics and his servo on the window. He let out a sad buzz once again.
“Bee. What do you want?”
To what his optics only widened as his muzzle wobbled.
“I’m busy, can’t you see?” you said and closed the curtains again.
But oh, he’s stubborn. He won’t give up until you give him the attention he wants. He wants Y/N’s cuddles now and he’s gonna get ‘em!
It was quiet until you heard him trying to open your window from the outside.
“That ain’t gonna work, Bee!” you said while trying to concentrate on the game.
He’s smart though. He sneaked one of his wires through the window crack and unlocked it, opening it and scooting away the curtains. He peaked his head into your bedroom and happily buzzed as his antennas wriggled.
“WHA- you’re unbelievable!” you said through a chuckle. You can’t be mad at him, JUST LOOK AT HIM. HE’S ADORABLE.
“Great, you made me lose my game.”
He reached with his servo inside and grabbed your console, ripping it out from the outlet and dragging it outside.
“WHAT ARE YOU- HEY! CAREFUL, IT’S FRAGILE!” you rushed to your window to see him holding it in the air.
He crossed his arms and tapped his foot on the ground like an angry parent.
“Beeeee… come on man…”
“You were playing— too long!— Time for a break!” he sulked over the radio.
“I was about to! After that match!”
“You always say that!”
“Please give it back! You’re going to break it!”
He shook his helm, lifting his chin and pouting, holding it higher in the air.
“Okaaaay.. What do I need to do?”
He opened his one optic, giving you a side eye. He then leaned closer to you and tapped his cheek plate, happily buzzing. Indicating he wants a kiss.
He made you giggle, “So that’s what this is all about huh~?” you said and leaned to give him a kiss but this cheeky little bastard turned his helm in the last moment so you ended up kissing his muzzle. You didn’t mind though, you giggled as he gave a happy little dance shuffle.
He then grabbed you and yeeted your console back inside, damaging it.
“BEE!”
He laughed as he transformed and so you found yourself inside the Camaro.
“You broke it!!!”
“Nothing— Ratchet— can’t fix.” he said as he floored it, heading to the main streets, taking you out for a ride.
You couldn’t help but laugh. You slouched in your seat, “How can I possibly be mad at you?”
“I missed you…”
“I know, Bee… I’m sorry…” you rubbed the steering wheel, “It was kinda selfish… I promise I won’t be so irresponsible anymore.”
He happily buzzed and played “Sunflower” by Post Malone and Swae Lee on the radio.
“Get ready for the ride of your life, beautiful~!” he used a movie quote.
You finally realized no console or game can replace your actual loved ones. You two enjoyed each other’s company like you used to as you rode into the sunset…

Bot/con of your choise x reader
There is a bot/con stranded on Earth, alone and injured, they barely have the strength to pull themselves the safety of a cave not too far from where they crashed, animals evacuating the are as quickly as they could. They loose consiousness, thinking this'd be the last thing they see but one day, after the years have taken their toll on the bot/con, their optics finally flicker back on, light so dim the creature infront of them could barely tell the difference, and the same as them, the large alien couldn't tell what was infront of them.
The human did what they could, using whatever they had to connect or seal the cut wiring, mend the torn metal, doing what they could to stop the bleeding, cleaning away the rust, caring for this stranger the best they knew how to. It wouldn't heal the bot/con, but it'd keep them alive, that was enough for both of them
Till one day, they are found. The bot/con carried away to safety by allies who wonder how they could still live, what has been caring for their injured friend, and the human has to come back to an empty cave with no sign of their injured friend.
They couldn't move on their own, not far anyway.
So, had another human found them?
Judging by the size of the foot steps on the ground, no.
They were alone, their friend taken away to who knows where, who knows if they'd ever see one another again, who knows if they were even on the same planet.
All they had was the hope that whoever had found them could heal what the couldn't

What if the process of turning into a Prime was more grotesque than in canon?
For those of you who've played Baldur's Gate 3, you know how those infected with a tadpole will eventually turn into a mindflayer? Yeah, it's kinda like that. Except just like with mindflayers, it's not really a transformation, it's a metamorphosis. A new being emerges from the body of the original one, all the memories intact but it's not the same person, not really.
When the Matrix chooses and turns a mech into a Prime, it starts with this awful creaking noise, slowly rising in crescendo until it becomes an earsplitting screech, only drowned out by the cries of anguish of the bot chosen. They writhe in agony on the ground, clawing at their chest, begging for it to stop.
Then, a crack. The bot stills, optics flared, mouth open in a silent scream, as something pushes itself out of their chest. It's like a chestburster from Alien, except it's them. In the moment their new self emerges, they exist as both at the same time. Old and new. Two sets of eyes, two minds, connected and almost indiscernable.
Until the connection breaks, that is.
The new Prime crawls out of the body of their old self, covered in energon and torn wires. They struggle to stand up, to find their balance. All while their old self is staring in horror.
The spark pulsing in the Prime's chest? That's a copy, a clone of the original one. The original spark was used as fuel to create the new Prime and the bot's insides used as building materials for their frame. But even with their spark guttered, the bot is still alive. At least for a few seconds. And they realize that this bot is going to take their place, their identity. And the worst part? No one will ever know the truth of what happened to them.
The new Prime is unaware that they are not the real 'original'. That all their memories and even spark are just copied over from the real one. They are told that the empty husk on the floor, their former frame, was like a cocoon. It wasn't alive, it was just a shell.

G1 seekers + Megatron
W cybertonian crush straight up telling them, "You're talking alot of shit for someone within kissing distance."
Heyyy, For the seekers I only really know Starscream, Skywarp, and thundercracker, if thats okay. Anyways I hope this is to your liking as well. I got hella side tracked and didn't really know how megs and screamers were going to go, but i got creative with Warp and Cracker. Enjoy :)
Pairings: G1 Megatron, Starscream, SkyWarp, Thundercracker
Warnings: None just shit talking,
Megatron
You stood in front of Megatron, a few other cons standing next to you as he ranted about some sort of failure on the battlefield today. You weren’t really paying attention, optics scanning the room as if you hadn’t been in here millions of times. You were pretty sure you weren’t even a part of the stuff he was ranting about, but nonetheless, you got your own fair share of it.
“Do any of you know the damage you have caused out there? Not a single one of you got your original mission done!”
His servos were up in the air and then down again, and before you knew it he had dismissed everyone in the room, except you. You stood in perfect formation, as he stood a distance away.
“You though, (Y/N), always seem to complete your goal with as mean casualties as possible.”
His optics moved to look at you, your helm leaned back, he could tell you weren't paying attention, you looked bored. It was something he constantly saw, a bored posture and look in your optics. He caught a glimpse of your optics on him, narrowed in the same way they normally did when you were getting ready to say something, talk back.
“You’re talking a lot of shit for someone within kissing distance.”
Your servos were still placed behind you,  as your stance was still in attention, but a hefty side eye looked towards the leader. He was taken aback, a smirk plastered on his face as he got close. It looked like he was trying to configure something to say back, you didn’t care though. Helm moved back up as you were no longer side-eyeing him, you’d had no time to plan for what he was going to do next, and that was exciting. Maybe you’ll say smart shit to him often, if it leaves him this quiet.
Starscream
Starscream stood looking at a data pad, rubbing his servos together as he laughed. You didn’t really listen to him when he went on these rants about overthrowing Megatron, so you sat at a desk, reading about one of the last missions Megatron sent some people out on. Something about the matrix of leadership, an autobot and a human. You sighed, why was he laughing so much? Helm turned to look towards the con, he swiftly turned around and pointed at you.
“You!”
You just looked at him confused, he acts like he doesn’t know your name.
“I bet you could never come up with such a good plan!”
He stepped closer to you, placing the data pad in front of you. Your optics moved down to look at it. It was in fact some plan to overthrow Megatron and take rule of cybertron.
“Is this one going to actually work?”
Your question must have struck a wire in him, because he gave you this, ‘how could you disagree with my strong intelligence’ it was kinda funny looking.
“Are you questioning me, the great Starscream! Future ruler of Cybertron. You could never come up with such a plan, your processor can compute with my great thinking.”
You rolled your eyes, placing the data pad down and looking up and over at him.
“Youre talking a lot of shit for someone within kissing distance.”
You coked your helm back, an eyebrow cocked as you stared into his optics. He stared back at you. The first time Screamer hasn’t been screaming, he looked kinda cute speechless.
Skywarp
This was the only time you think you and Skywarp were at each other's throats. He seemed to be more worked up over the fact you didn’t hit your shot than he was. Your arms crossed and your foot tapping on the ground, his upset tone was starting to get annoying.
“You have one job (Y/N), and it's to hit your shot.”
You shook your head, he’s been at this hole if you hit your shot thing for far too long. You were starting to get tired of just standing and listening to him, the least he could do is say something else, besides ‘just hit’ or ‘one job’ the mission went perfectly, practically without a hitch, Megatron said so himself. Now why was he so upset, you guessed you’d never.
You sat, arms crossed and now your legs, optics looking anywhere but him. He stood right in front of you, his servos placed on the arms of the chair as he leaned in. HIs face is far too close to yours.
“Sometimes you can just be so stupid, ya know.”
His eyes narrowed, and you smiled. Uncrossing your arms and placing your servos on top of his.
“You talk a lot of shit for someone within kissing distance, ya know.”
You leaned into him, your optics flicking from his and then down to his lips, he may have just been scolding you, but he was just so kissable right.
Thundercracker
You both bantered a lot, it just so happened to be the only thing you and Thundercracker know how to do. You both walked down the hall, he said something about what Megatron had said to you. Lightly mocking his tone, and giving a light chuckle.
“You can’t be serious, Megatron was far to upset about Starscreams fuck up then what happened to you.”
He was right, no matter what happened Starscream was the topic of far to many of Megatrons rants and bad moods, when you have made quite the amount of fuck ups on the battlefelid. Megatron didn’t care, and you never worried about it. This left Thundercracker the opportunity to talk his shit, and boy did he talk it. You knew Thundercracker had this thing where people who weren’t flying types were inferior to him, but holy you didn’t think it was this bad.
“See, had you been a seeker, you’d passed your mission and Megatron wouldn’t be so upset.”
You rolled your eyes and kept walking down the hall. After all the times you’ve heard him say, ‘if you were’ and ‘if only you could’, you practically could predict what he was going to say.
His servo coming up to point at your car door, and a sly smirk on his face.
“These could be wings, and you’d be a whole lot more useful, if i do say so.”
You laughed, giving him a side eye.
“If I was a seeker, Megatron would have no use for you, Thunder.”
He chuckled, looking ahead.
“Yet you’d be useful, yeah?”
You shook your helm, that same smile you always give when you both banter, your digits going to point at him.
“You talk a lot of shit for someone within kissing distance.”
Your optics narrowed, and he smirked.
“If so what’s stopping’ ya?”

(Redesign) Atomix
Species: Mendol (pl. Mendolee)
One of the most powerful aliens in Ben's arsenal, Atomix is an alien with the ability to see, hear, and manipulate the shape, location, and elements of all atomic structures around him. Even living material and the air around him is not exempt.
Because he only perceives things made of atoms, Atomix cannot be fooled by energy optical illusions such as light-refracting cloaks and ID mask disguises. However, this puts him at risk from energy weapons and projectiles, which he can't see or hear (but very much feel when they hit).
Atomix's body is sturdy, and can withstand the vacuum of space. His skin is tough but with some bounceback to it. Though a Mendol's body is entirely organic, with the more obviously fleshy bits and ichor being internal, exposed only by clear membranes like his eye, arm nodes, and torso, many species have mistaken them for an automatonous species, such as Synthroids or Sylonnoids.
His eye is lidded, and the slits on the sides of his head are gills through which he breathes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Atomix can hold his breath for lengthy stretches of time, by choice or by retracting his head into his collar. He can also do this to protect his head, eye, or the Omnitrix badge on the back of it.
Tumblr media
His base strength is great, capable of picking up cars, busting through solid brick and concrete, and tearing up stop signs and lampposts from blacktop. Being crushed under rubble, buildings, boulders or vehicles is easy to shake off and escape from. His weight and density also make it hard to knock him around, as easy as tripping him would be.
Atomix is capable of running with great force and endurance, though with a slow start. Though his thick fingers lack manual dexterity, his eye for detail and pinpoint accuracy make up for it, if not negating it entirely.
Ben could use Atomix to hold his own in a fight, completely without his unique abilities, just due to Mendol durability and strength.
Moving the general atom positioning of matter allows Atomix to bend it into useful shapes.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
By changing atomic densities, Atomix can shift the phases of matter around him, in any direction, even rarer occurrences like sublimation.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Atomix can even cause matter to change elements. By adding and subtracting particles, he also alters their weight and mass.
Tumblr media
Atomix is capable of replicating more complex weapons, such as grenades or guns, but only with a provided example for visual reference. His atomic sight means he has 24/7 X-ray vision in a sense, so he can replicate the smallest internal seams, bolts, and wires. However, while he can create the base of a tech-heavy weapon, if it requires an energy source, Atomix cannot provide it (exception being if it's powered by radioactive material).
With such great power is an intense drawback: the sensory overload that comes from being able to see and hear even the smallest electron in every single atom, including the air. The background noise of every piece of matter in the immediate vicinity drowns out most other noises, including the voices of friends and enemies alike. The visual static of seeing every moving part of every atom also drowns out his ability to distinguish friend and foe, much less people from the environment.
Transforming into a Mendol overwhelms Ben and puts him in a spacey mindset, where he might become more occupied with examining walls or an object on the floor than the fight he was transforming for.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
With concentration and practice, Ben can strain his hearing to pay attention to others, and with the human part of him to ground Atomix (by referring to others by titles to remind him that a particular pile of atoms is Friend, and the other is Cousin, one is a Foe, etc.), he can become more and more like Ben and use his powers responsibly and effectively. Study of chemistry in and out of Mendol form assists his alchemizing ability (and bump up his grade in high school chem).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Even organic material is manipulatable, so Atomix is technically capable of healing powers, but it is infinitely easier to break and morph something than it is to restore its original form or make fine-tuned details.
So, to not the cross the line of accidentally mangling civilians or using this to melt or kneecap his villains, all organic matter-shifting is off-limits by Ben's choice. He's willing to use his powers on himself like morph a hand into a blade, because he understands the risks, it won't hurt anyone but himself if it goes awry, and it will be fixed by the Omnitrix via detransformation.
If he wants to bend the universe, he must first bend himself.
Tumblr media
Mendolee are most comfortable in space or in environments with a minimal atmosphere, where there is the least atomic sound, only the faint roar of distant planets and stars, or the rock beneath their feet. They are extremely asocial, because they see every single atom and its particles, as well as hear every sound every atom makes. So, Mendolee don't really hear much over the collective atomic sound of the universe. They do not prioritize one kinda noisy, extra-moving pile of atoms over the other inanimate, slightly-more-still equally noisy piles of atoms. So they generally don't respond to anyone trying to talk to them. They are significantly better at recognizing other Mendolee, but only through pattern recognition of their own atomic structures. Idling through space, they often crash onto planets by drifting into its gravitational pull, where they wander aimlessly only to examine their surroundings' make-up. Then, they terraform a little corner to live in. Millennia ago, Mendolee fell to the original Galvan Prime, and terraformed the landscape, to the aid and awe of the residing Galvans. The Omnitrix icon, a Galvan symbol and universal peace sign, was based off the natural membrane on a Mendol's torso. Different Mendolee have different preferences. Some insist on flattening everything so all is perfectly level. Others like making tall towers like anthills, others make these as a consequence of making valleys to wedge themselves into for rest.
I'm not the first person to, though I want to say I independently came to this conclusion without seeing the other people who had done it first, think that Atomix should've been based on or be the species of beings Azmuth's biosuit was based on, the "ancient machine gods primitive Galvans used to worship"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Because radiation is N.R.G.'s thing, I changed his powers to alchemy/matter manipulation.
I wasn't sure what colors to make Atomix, because I knew he shouldn't be the same colors as Azmuth's suit, so I went with his concept art by Tom Perkins. It was meant to be temporary but I really liked and ended up keeping it.
Tumblr media
This is more of an afterthought but looking at canon Atomix's page pissed me off cause he's got the big Omni shape (with kirby dots) on him which is a Galvan symbol with the explicit note in the trivia "yeah it is a Galvan symbol but just cause it's Galvan doesn't mean Atomix has anything to do with them"
Like shut up. What if, in an opposite but also reverse way, it's a Galvan symbol BECAUSE it is a naturally occurring shape on Mendolee. Same way we see doves and make them a symbol of peace. We see a heart and make it a symbol of love. Do you see my vision.
Mendol/Mendolee is a reference to Dmitri Mendeleev, the Father of the Periodic Table of Elements. The "dol" part is a play on doll because of their artificial and articulated appearance.

I'm back
May I ask if you are willing to do it Soundwave reunion with a femme sparkling that he thought he lost in the war, but instead he finds his sparkling in a battle over her escape pod, but the Autobots manage to get their hands on her so, in turn, He steals a human they care about (any version of the transformers universe is fine, but preferably prime universe.) and trades the human in exchange for his little girl.
Thanks for being so patient! I hope you enjoy!
Soundwave doesn’t believe his optics the first time he sees the escape pod. Pods are rare enough at this stage of the war and most are either dead or empty. Even if this looks like the pod he built himself and sent off, he can’t allow that to cloud his judgement. It’s only when Lazerbeak flies over and gets pictures that he allows himself to hope. That’s his sparkling inside and damn if she’s disappearing again.
The fight is brutal, more so than normal. The Autobots are barely holding ground, shocked by how ruthless Soundwave is being. It’s not hard to put one and one together, Arcee seeing how he’s making a beeline for the pod. Bulkhead is able to buy the Bots enough time to escape and Soundwave wants to rip something apart.
His plan after that is simple and foolproof; it’s not hard to grab Raf after school, even with Bumblebee watching over him. The scout is alive but in rough shape and Raf is strangely quiet, watching Soundwave with wide eyes. Soundwave proposes the switch without any approvals; Megatron wouldn’t resist but Soundwave isn’t going to risk it.
The Bots aren’t thrilled but make the exchange readily enough. Soundwave’s optics are locked on the pod, wires curling around it as soon as it’s close enough. He plugs into the systems without any prompting, triggering a spacebridge at the same time. He runs the safety codes over and over, looking for anything out of the ordinary or threatening. He can hear Starscream complaining on the bridge but it’s white noise to the sound the pod makes as it unlocks. Soundwave doesn’t move as small red optics look up at him, dim from statis. He reaches out and cradles his sparkling close, bending over her; she’s finally home.

Goretober Day 3: Oral
I accidentally made a Soundwave origin story with this so if yall like that, here you go. Origin through angst.
Previous part here.
━━━━━━ ⊙ ❖ ⊙ ━━━━━━━━━━━━ ⊙ ❖ ⊙
“Hold him down!” Powerful sets of servos held his limbs against the frigid ground of the alley and several mecha prowled around him. The skies were dark overhelm, so much so that only a few stars broke through a clearing the smog that polluted the air. Amidst the panic that made his spark flare in terror, Soundwave found a degree of cold comfort in their presence. It was something to keep him grounded as those holding him in place kept him from squirming.
A clasp firmly wrapped around his neck stopped him from producing any serious noise and dug into his cabling as the mecha around him murmured amongst themselves. There seemed to be some debate as to what they intended to do to him, however the grip they had on him never once let up. Finally, his attackers seemed to come to some sort of dark conclusion that left Soundwave frantically trying to call for his symbiotes. Deep down in his spark he knew that even if he could contact them, whatever these mecha did to him would have long come to a close by the time any of his symbiotes arrived.
“You sparkeater lookalike-” One of the mechs hissed, his optics glinting the dark but still far away enough that Soundwave had to strain to locate him. He wished more than anything that he could free his cables and send his attackers flying, but the position he was held in, with his back flat against the ground all but totally prevented that. He was more likely to hurt himself than his enemies, and that made him shake a degree, especially as the mech who spoke pushed a few of his fellows aside and strode forward.
“A monster like you trying to be a Senator? No, we can’t have that can we.” The mech snarled, and Soundwave froze as the definitive sound of metal dragging across harsh ground reached his audials. He tried to trash, but his helm was held steady.
“Remove the monster’s mask! Can’t have that getting in the way.” Soundwave tried to squirm, to scream, to do anything and digits hooked under his mask and tore it away with a snap of broken wires and a flare of flying sparks. It hurt, but it was not nearly as bad as the chill air running across his exposed face and the now very clear vision of a raised hammer hovering mere feet above him in the servos of the mech who had been speaking.
“Let’s see if they let you run for the office of Senator once I finish with you!” The hammer seemed to swing in slow motion as it was brought down. It glinted in the starlight, and amidst the sheer, undiluted terror, Soundwave found himself momentarily stunned into silence. There was a strange beauty in the horror-
And then the hammer came crashing down on his intake and jaw.
A horrific gurgling scream came from his vocalizer as facial protoform split and energon burst free enough that Soundwave could see it flying. He choked on his energon as his jaw caved in, the protomatter making up the skeletal structure warping and cracking. His denta shattered in a spray of terrifying white shards which fell further into his intake where he could taste them as others still splattered across his devastated face. His glossa was torn as sharp edges cut into it, but that only served to have him cry out with more vigor.
He was hardly able to think before the hammer raised, stained an eerie glowing blue, and was promptly brought back down again with extreme prejudice. His screams grew more frantic even while muffled as his jaw caved entirely, the metal shattering so that it split into two rugged parts. What remained of his denta shattered further, breaking and falling into his intake so that he could feel every small piece against his glossa and intake walls. The shards dug into open angry wounds and his facial protoform throbbed in agony as it was forced to split further from the blunt force trauma.
Soundwave was unable to do anything aside from weep as the hammer came down again. Sparks clouded his vision, but every time that hammer raised he could see it shining with his spilled essence just as he could clearly capture the gleeful face of his attacker. Rage pooled deep in his spark alongside the fear and agony, so much so that his frantic attempts to free himself started to yield results. Those holding him in place struggled even more to keep him still as that cursed hammer came down-
Again. And again. And Again.
Blinding pain blurred and faded into one long wave of stinging nerves, swollen protoform, spark shaking agony from shattered skeletal structures, and tank churning nausea from pain and the feeling of his shattered denta combined. At some point the hammer stopped falling and was dropped to the ground beside him with hurried murmurs along the lines of ‘further damage will kill him’. Despite his agony, Soundwave wished he could scoff.
Fools, all of them.
“Frag you Soundwave! Try to keep aiming for a senatorial seat and we'll finish the job!” One of the mechs shouted before scurrying away with the others. Soundwave was left alone as their pedesteps faded, bleeding out in a dark alley with the assault weapon abandoned beside him. What stupid attackers. They left evidence.
He could only lay limply on the ground as he waited for his symbiotes to arrive, spitting out globs of energon, his own glossa, and pieces of denta as his venting sputtered erratically. All the while as he laid in torment, the stars twinkled overhead as both a comfort and a taunt. They watched and none intervened on his behalf. Not Primus, not Unicron, no one. Soundwave endured-
Alone.
