ENGIRLS, also known as ENHYPEN GIRLS (엔하이픈 소녀들), is a fictional sub-unit of the ten-member co-ed group, ENHYPEN, which was formed through the survival show, I-LAND. The unit consists of the three female members of the group: Aiko, Blake, and Ruruka. They debuted on November 30th, 2020, with the song, 'Really Bad Boy,' as a part of ENHYPEN's debut EP, 'BORDER: DAY ONE.'

Despite their victory on I-LAND, ENGIRLS had a challenging debut because they were the only three girls out of the twenty-four female contestants to make it to the debuting team. Many fans, international and domestic, accused MNET of voting manipulation or stated that they should have debuted an all-boy group by choosing three other male contestants to take their place. This only increased when their debut EP was released, and they were introduced as a sub-unit, with both the girls and the boys having their own unit songs.

Regardless, ENHYPEN went on to have a successful debut and remain one of the top artists of their generation.

MEMBERS PROFILE

Kobayashi Aiko was born on January 17, 2002, in New York City, New York, to a businessman father and a stay-at-home mother. She is the second eldest of four children and the only one of her siblings pursing a music career. From a young age, she has loved music and can play different instruments, including the piano, violin, guitar, and drums.

Later, when she was five, Aiko and her family moved to Osaka, Japan, due to her father’s job relocation. While in Osaka, Aiko continued to pursue music, picking up vocal lessons and later being scouted by SM Entertainment in 2014. Despite her parent’s disapproval, she went on to train under SM for four years, becoming an SMROOKIE and later participating in the survival show Produce 48. She was eliminated in episode 5 of the show and continued to train at SM until leaving at the end of 2018 to join BigHit Music.

After that, she had a fight with her parents, who wanted her to come home to continue her education, but Aiko stood firm and begged for another chance to prove herself. She later joined I-LAND and made it to the debuting team.

Blake Akiyama was born on December 18, 2002, in Houston, Texas, to a surgeon father and model mother. She is an only child because her mother had complications after Blake was born, which led to her being doted on by her family as the only female granddaughter. Despite this, Blake is a very humble girl because her grandmother, her father’s mother, taught her the importance of hard work and appreciation for those around her.

Blake has taken dance classes since she was four and excels in many different genres. She has a deep passion for dancing and has won many awards for local competitions. Her dance teacher at the time had nothing but praise for her and has stated that Blake is one of the best pupils she’s had the honor to teach.

Blake’s parents later divorced when she was eight, and her father received full custody of her because her mother wished to pursue her modeling career. Since then, her mother has been in and out of her life. At fourteen, Blake was scouted as a model and took on some gigs despite her father not wanting her to. Still, he allowed her in order to make her happy. Blake later stopped due to the mental and physical toll it took on her.

She was scouted online due to a dance cover she posted on her Instagram and joined SOURCE Music in 2018 until she joined I-LAND and debuted into ENHYPEN.

Nishimura Ruruka was born on December 9, 2005, in Okayama, Japan. She is the twin sister of Nishimura Riki, also known as Ni-ki, and has two other sisters. Like her family, Ruruka has a passion for dancing and has been dancing alongside her siblings for as long as she can remember. 

Ruruka has taken gymnastics classes since she was four, alongside dance classes, and originally wanted to pursue an athletic career. However, when she and Riki were eleven, they joined the group SHINeeKIDS and performed with SHINee for many stages. Through that, she learned that she loved to perform in front of a crowd and wanted to become an artist like SHINee. When she and Riki left SHINeeKIDS, Ruruka picked up vocal classes.

Between the time of her departure from SHINeeKIDS and her auditioning for BELIFT, Ruruka did some modeling gigs and was the backup dancer for other artists. Later, both Ruruka and Riki decided to audition for BELIFT and joined I-LAND, both succeeding and joining ENHYPEN.

El torbellino de ideas que la atormenta a diario jamás han sido barrera para aquella intención aguda que guía los pasos de la líder Malkavian. Su vestimenta pulcra y elegante no condice con el lugar sombrío en el que se fuerza a encontrar asiento sobre un mueble de antaño, firme como nunca con sus muñecas cruzadas sobre sus rodillas. Cuando escucha el eco de tacones en la lejanía, simplemente lo sabe. Quizás ha ignorado las señales hace tiempo, pero por primera vez en décadas, todo en sí parece abrazarse a las pequeñas partes de su historia. El fracaso siempre fue inminente, más nunca lo esperó de aquella manera.

Simples palabras bastan para despertar la rabia en la mujer de Osaka. Mano ocupada se cierra en un puño, apretando con fuerza lo que sujeta hasta que cae en cuenta de su reacción. No tarda en recomponerse, pero la transformación sobre sus facciones es demasiado obvia.

Aiko la observa con tanta intriga como satisfacción, tomando la pulsera de oro que carga en mano izquierda, recubierta por diversos diamantes que ha encontrado en el pasar de las décadas. Un regalo de su mentor, Hinata.

Ahí donde todas las adversidades apostaban contra ella, él había encaminado su futuro. Pero de nada sirve lamentarse si poco ha logrado con el poder que se le ha transferido.

Sus brazos reposan detrás de su espalda, y sólo para evitar seguir observándola es que gira a su alrededor. 

— Terminará humillada. Escape o muera. 

— Nunca prestaste atención a lo vital que es la lealtad. 

— Y tú la aprendiste del menos indicado. 

Cuando la Lasombra abandona también sus formalidades, debe obligarse a tomar un segundo antes de continuar. 

— Nunca estaremos de acuerdo en eso. Pero terminarás aprendiendo que es cuestión de supervivencia. Tus ideales te llevarán a la ruina, Anastasia. Pero si eso es lo que eliges, no seré yo quien te detenga.

— Tokyo ya está bajo la sombra del Sabbat y la Camarilla es una reliquia del pasado que se desmorona ante nuestros ojos. La unidad no bastará para proteger tu territorio cuando el Sabbat avanza implacablemente.

speculating litg s8 characters part 3, here's cat cafe girl

so I could be dead wrong but my first thought is that this is fusebox's adorable (but unromanceable 😔) black girl. Think Thabi, Genevieve, and Willow (before she gets merged with the other girls). OR she's the out there life of the party funny girl who's only into you like Bella or AJ (but I feel less strongly about this just bc it seems like she's straight, so I did go primarily with the first option but I don't see why we can't make her adorable, funny, AND an LI).

so yea for whatever reason I see her as being either a late game love interest who doesn't realize her feelings at first or just like the other girls, not a love interest at all. if she is a love interest I'm imagining dyed hair (like Bella) and if not well then moreso like Thabi Genevieve and Willow, afro textured natural hair. I felt like switching it up (and also i couldnt decide between the two styles) so I just borrowed a picture of jhene aiko that was cute so it's still very voluminous hair but like dyed red. after i drew this i saw a tiktok where this woman had goddess braids and i was like oh thats cute too and i dont know if we've had a character with braids since najuma so maybe that. point is im indecisive she could look like anything as long as the hair is making a statement.

also willow/genevieve/thabi are closer to being midsize i would say (probably not quite, maybe just in between lol... women's sizes are confusing but this isn't a post about that) so anyway i just made her body type similar too.

The thing about the cat cafe though is that I instantly was thinking of some of my friends, who are Asian, but I do still think my other prediction that its the cute black girl is true. so I drew her blasian (I'm thinking like Naomi Osaka, Jhene Aiko) and I don't know if fusebox would put in a blasian character (the hardly put in any memorable east asian women anyway but more than the actual show at least) but I think she's cute and again just for the sake of changing it up.

i keep calling her cute bc of the cafe stuff but the drumming thing and the funny girl thing got me thinking about Bobby in his punk band (if I ever write an AU you bet they're gonna be in the same band) and that influenced her style. Still very colorful but cozy (I looked up some cat cafes on Google for this) but also a little alt (I tried googling soft grunge aesthetic which turned into e girl which turned into whatever this is). alternatively, maybe she's got dark academia vibes but that's not really fitting love island's summer aesthetic lol

i hope she's nice; she seems nice. maybe a little messy like uma or just waiting for someone perfect like thabi.

Japan trip

I love meeting different people on my trips whenever I go anywhere. There are so many stories out there of people living their lives to the fullest and trying to enjoy every moment, below are just a few of the people I met on my trip.

A California couple, Sam and Eric, from The Bay. They left their jobs to travel in Asia for 6 months and Europe for 3 months. Both in their late 20's. Met in Tokyo at hostel, and we shared a room.

An Australian guy, Eddie, cross country, traveling for 4 months. He pent a month in China and a month in South Korea. Lives off grid and doesn't do social media. Met in Tokyo.

2 college age German dudes who are in Japan for 1 week to party. Met in Tokyo.

Feeli an Italian woman, a financial advisor who owns her own business, lives in Hong Kong, traveling to Seoul in 1 week, spending 1 week around Japan. She has been here many times. She used to be a musician who did house music. Celebrating her 35th birthday with a trip to Japan. Met in Tokyo at bar and spent 2 hours chatting about what each of us did on our travels and our lives.

Rob, a British guy, works on projects. This was a last-minute trip, he bought a ticket 2 days ago, and studied for trip on airplane ride over. Met on Bullet train from Kyoto to Osaka.

Chiyo, a Japanese girl who has been working at hostel for 8 months and is leaving to be a full-time time safari guide in South Africa in 2 days. She went to college for veterinary work and graduated in 2021. Met at Hostel in Tokyo and chatted over breakfast 2 different days during my stay.

Frederick, a New Zealand guy, works and travels a lot, just came from Scotland and spending time in Japan. Met in Osaka.

Aiko, a Japanese girl, studied in PA and lived there for 1½ years. Moved back to Kyoto last year and is a travel tour guide and English teacher. Met at Piece Hostel in Kyoto and got lunch at Ramen spot. She has family in MA still, wants to travel to U.S again, not sure when she'll be able to.

Hilda, a polish girl spending 6 weeks in Japan and works in a bank, lived in Japan for a year and speaks it fluently, solo traveler. From a small city in Poland with population of 100k. Met at the beginning of night walk at Fushimi Inari Shrine in Kyoto when she asked me to take her photo, walked up to the top and to the bottom chatting about what we do and our trips. Turning 29 in 2 days was going to spend it in Tokyo.

6 people all from Indianapolis traveling in Japan, they did reverse trip, Osaka, then Kyoto, then Japan, met them at tattoo shop we were all waiting to get tattooed, they worked as a veterinarian, e-medical project manager, electrician, school teacher, and welder. Met in Kyoto at Tsink tattoo.

Riku, Japanese older man who opened his own bar and was DJ, had been doing it for 25 years and spent time dj'ing in countries all around from Africa, to Europe, and U.S. Met at his bar, Bar Music, in Kyoto.

Aya, a Japenese girl traveling across the country, she just graduated college and is from Hiroshima, met at cooling station for Bamboo Grove in Osaka.

Thomas, a Canadian guy, traveled 6 weeks with Japanese wife and stayed with her parents in Shanghai, they just spent 6 months cross country working / traveling in Canada in an RV. Met on plane ride back from Tokyo.

So many stories. The world is an enormous place. I wrote so much on my trip that I'll share soon.

Brief Description:

Aiko has long, dark brown hair and wears it in a twin tail style. She has blue eyes.

She is the youngest child of Chihiro Osaka and Neji Hyuga, as well as their only daughter. Inheriting the Osaka Clan's shapeshifting abilities, she has been recognized as Chihiro's heiress, and a future head of the Osaka Clan. Despite her natural abilities and talents, she feels a sense of pressure to do well for both her sake and the sakes of her parents.

Aiko enjoys reading, especially non-fiction books. She has such a hunger for knowledge, and enjoys sharing her little fun facts with others (even when they are not necessarily wanted). Lately she has been reading anatomy texts, and is considering studying medical ninjutsu in the future. She is not afraid to speak her mind, and can be a bit too honest at times. Allianz Tower cuenta con dos autores. El primero siendo menos conocido y se llama Andrea Maffei, un arquitecto italiano, fue director asociado de los proyectos basados en Italia por Arata Isozaki como la Allianz Tower en Milán o la Nueva salida para la Galería de los Uffizi en Florencia. El segundo es Arata Isozaki, un arquitecto japonés nacido en 1931 que es considerado uno de los maestros de la arquitectura contemporánea japonesa.

Se graduó en la facultad de Ingeniería de Tokio en 1954 y se incorporó al seminario de Kenzo Tange. Permaneció junto al equipo de Tange y del URTEC hasta 1963, que fundó su propio estudio en Tokio y poco a poco se fue expandiendo, algunas de sus obras más importantes de esta etapa son: Biblioteca de la Prefectura de Prefrita (1962-1966 Ōita), Expo '70 Festival Plaza (1966-1970 Osaka) o el Museo de Arte Moderno (1971-1974 Gunma).

En 1970 Isozaki presenta un cambio, dejando atrás la tradición japonesa e incorporando elementos postmodernistas, es decir formas como bóvedas, esferas y otros elementos geométricos. En 1973 contrajo matrimonio por tercera vez con Aiko Miyawaki, una importante escultora que le ayudó a relacionarse con personas importantes del arte moderno.

Además, es profesor invitado en varias universidades como la de Harvard, Yale o Columbia, y ha sido distinguido con numerosos premios internacionales, como el de la Asociación de Arquitectos de Japón.

Algunas de sus obras más importantes son: Palau Sant Jordi, en Barcelona para los Juegos Olímpicos de 1992; el Centro Cultural Shenzhen, en China; y la Torre Allianz, en Milán.

DESCRIPCIÓN DE LA OBRA

Allianz Tower es uno de los rascacielos más altos de Italia y sirve como un nuevo punto de referencia para la ciudad de Milán, Italia. Además, es el cuarto más alto de la Unión Europea por altura de antena. Los diseñadores, Arata Isozaki y Andrea Maffei, querían centrar su atención en la forma exterior del edificio, es decir en la fachada escultórica. La estrecha estatura de la obra de 50 pisos enfatiza su verticalidad, objetivo que también se marcaron. 

Asimismo, la torre está compuesta por ocho módulos de seis plantas cada uno. Luego las fachadas frontales con mayor longitud están cubiertas de un  triple vidrio exterior convexo, curvado en secciones de seis pisos para reducir el reflejo del sol, percibiéndose desde fuera una ligera vibración de la fábrica. Por otro lado, las fachadas laterales contendrían expresivos ascensores panorámicos. 

La obra está constituida por 6 plantas de oficinas con unas dimensiones de 24 x 61,5 metros. Las proporciones están seleccionadas de tal manera que se acentúe aún más la verticalidad.

Para mantener el edificio rígido, se hundieron 62 columnas de concreto a 101 pies de profundidad debajo de los cimientos, de concreto reforzado. En el piso 24, los dos núcleos están conectados por una armadura de correa de acero. 

Respecto a su obra, los autores recalcan que Allianz Tower no es solo para mostrar la destreza de ingeniería del equipo, ya que ellos relegan las funciones principales de la estructura a los extremos, de forma que permite unos interiores versátiles: “La forma de trabajar está cambiando rápidamente y el espacio de oficina debe seguir esta transformación”, dicen.

Las noches pasan y el fulgor mortecino de la luna se asienta en el final de la temporada, así como aquel susurro inquietante que se desliza por los callejones y se cola en las alcantarillas, anunciando un acontecimiento inesperado: incluso en la eternidad y protegido por toda deidad imaginable, la muerte ha resultado un destino inevitable para Shōda Hinata, Príncipe de la Camarilla. 

El cielo se cubre bajo un manto gris oscuro, lluvia intermitente resplandeciendo en la noche como si las deidades mismas lamentaran la partida del difunto Príncipe. ¡Ah, Hinata! Tan joven, tan incomprendido, tan lejos pero tan cerca de tantas metas. ¿A dónde te ha llevado una vida de restricciones, de secretos, de una frialdad tan propia de tu gente y tan desgarradora para tu hijo? 

Los chiquillos son tan bienvenidos como sus sires, esos antiguos vástagos que de alguna forma u otra son parte del destino que los ha llevado hacia la ciudad de Tokyo, culpables de su existencia inmortal. Ahí donde todo empezó, a pocos metros del palacio imperial donde el difunto alguna vez les dio la bienvenida, la ceremonia se despliega bajo paraguas y el ocasional cuchicheo incómodo en medio del silencio.

Raramente a los vástagos les gusta dejarse ver llorar, por lo que no sorprende que la descendencia del Camarilla sea la única derramando lágrimas, líneas color carmín sobre sus mejillas contrastando con el ambiente oscuro. Perdurar en esa no-vida que se ha establecido en las líneas de un arma de guerra, una pelea a la que su padre termina por perder, y la misma razón por lo que nisiquiera puede ver a la cara a los Shovelheads que se acercan por órden mayor a dar su pésame, insultos siendo escupidos a los mismos mientras otros antiguos intentan calmarlos. 

En el Palacio Imperial, los lamentos no tardan en llegar, tan dramáticos y cargados de un amor que algunos juraron vacío de a momentos. Otro líder más que no cumple un siglo completo en su mandato sobre tierra nipona que a esta altura parece maldita, llena de guerras y secretos que son tan atrayentes como peligrosos.

Muchos se preguntan si será Benno el próximo en quedar a cargo, más la postura de Aiko y su cara conflictuada podrían asegurar su futuro título como directora de calles aledañas. Con lo difícil que era hacer compatible su poder con las herencias de su clan, no quiere imaginar el pesar que será tener que ser la primera cara visible de todos esos vástagos. Pero los últimos meses se ha encargado de hacerlo, ¿será suficiente para que le den todos un voto de confianza a la pobre mente atormentada?

Aunque la desaparición podría haber sido común para el mandamás de la torre de marfil, nadie comprende realmente por qué han tardado tanto en realizar su velorio. Casi un mes después del ataque y con el cuerpo tan frío como siempre, el evento se da para realizar a vista de todos un ritual de protección sobre el espacio de tierra donde esconden y preservan antiguo cuerpo, los Tremere liderando el evento con el honor que se debe a una figura de tal importancia. 

Pero más allá de demostrar el aprecio a quien mantuvo la ciudad en órden por tanto tiempo, una noticia se esparce entre los cainitas presentes: con órden inmediata, deberán abandonar la ciudad. Exiliados por crímenes que si bien no propios, se atan a esas personas que alguna vez han jurado servir.

Las miradas de recriminación entre los cainitas se entrelazan con el dolor visible de los seguidores de la torre de marfil. En medio de aquel tumulto, los vástagos son forzados a mantener la calma y evitar ser expulsados de Tokyo de la manera más deshonrosa posible. Sin embargo, una luz de esperanza en el horizonte hace juego incómodo así como todos los demás lasombra. Anastasia y Donovan, recién llegados de la salvaje tierra de Osaka, prometen resolver la situación lo antes posible. Saludan a todos los adeptos a sus líneas con mensajes de esperanza, insistiendo en la importancia de conceder un tiempo de duelo a sus rivales antes de emprender cualquier acción precipitada.

Con lo fácil que es desequilibrar la balanza que mantiene a todos a pie, ¿cómo se verá afectada la dinámica entre las diferentes facciones vampíricas?¿Será que algún cainita correrá con la idea de resignar al Sabbat con tal de quedarse en la ciudad? Como siempre, Anarquistas e Independientes aparentan quedar al margen, pero nada más lejano. En especial con tantas cosas para aprovechar en una situación tan vulnerable para tantos. ¿Lograrán por fin establecer algún tipo de poder en el territorio o al menos recuperar sus barrios? 

𝐀𝐂𝐋𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐄𝐒 𝐎𝐎𝐂.

¡Bienvenides a la actividad número veinte, murcielaguitos! En esta actividad, los vástagos se ven obligados a asistir al funeral del Príncipe de la Camarilla, Hinata, en medio de una incómoda y gélida lluvia que acompaña el sombrío entierro. La ceremonia tiene lugar fuera de la capilla de un cementerio antiguo y oscuro a metros del palacio imperial, que se encuentra rodeado de lápidas y mausoleos cubiertos de enredaderas que por acto de los Tremere no logran tapar el nombre de algunos antiguos de la Camarilla. Mientras la multitud de vástagos se congrega, muchos miembros del Sabbat han recibido la noticia de que tendrán que exiliarse de la ciudad antes de que termine la semana.

Algunas locaciones que pueden encontrar en esta actividad son: 

EXTERIOR DEL CEMENTERIO: Un portón de hierro forjado, oxidado por el paso del tiempo, marca la entrada al camposanto, sus bisagras chirriantes pronunciando una bienvenida lúgubre a aquellos que se aventuran más allá. Lugar donde los vástagos se reúnen para rendir homenaje al difunto Príncipe y presenciar el poder de la magia en acción.

MAUSOLEO: Aunque la mayoría de las cámaras funerarias están vacías, algunas aún albergan los restos de antiguos regentes. A través de las rejas y las cerraduras, los visitantes pueden admirar la magnificencia de su arquitectura, con detalles intrincados y esculturas elaboradas que adornan sus paredes y techos.

COLUMBARIO: De los pocos lugares bajo techo, muchos difuntos de la Camarilla (sin discriminar el rango ni su posición) son honrados con pequeñas placas en este espacio lejano a los humanos y donde otros pueden acercarse a velar por sus cercanos. Aunque es un lugar solitario y melancólico, también sirve de recordatorio de la conexión que une a los vástagos a lo largo de los siglos, una cadena de sangre y memoria que trasciende la mortalidad y perdura en la eternidad.

CRIPTA REAL: Una cripta subterránea donde se encuentran enterrados los antiguos líderes de la Camarilla de Tokyo. Al descender por escaleras de piedra desgastada, se abre paso a un mundo olvidado, donde las sombras acechan en cada esquina y el aire es denso con el peso del pasado. Pueden verse diferentes cuadros de los líderes en este lugar, aunque ten cuidado con las telarañas. No es visitado demasiado seguido.

CAPILLA: alejado del bullicio y la intriga de la corte vampírica, este espacio está pensado para la reflexión y la tranquilidad libre de cualquier tipo de religión, incluso si la cruz tapada justo en medio pareciera indicar lo contrario.
