Effective communication is the backbone of any successful hockey team. Coaches and players must be on the same page to ensure smooth execution during games and practices. Whether it’s providing feedback, offering encouragement, or strategizing on the fly, communication helps create a cohesive and motivated team. Here are some strategies to foster strong communication between hockey coaches and players.

Be Clear and Concise

When communicating with players, coaches should use clear and straightforward language. Hockey is a fast-paced game; players must absorb and act on instructions quickly. Avoid long-winded explanations and focus on giving concise, actionable feedback. For example, instead of saying, “Try to adjust your positioning to cover the slot better,” a coach could say, “Stay between the puck and the net.” This clarity helps players respond effectively and with confidence.

Foster Open Dialogue

Effective communication is not just about the coach giving instructions—players should feel comfortable voicing their thoughts, concerns, and ideas. A coach should create an open environment where players feel safe speaking up, asking questions, or providing feedback. This dialogue builds trust and strengthens the team dynamic. Encouraging players to express themselves, whether it’s about their role on the team or how they’re feeling, ensures that everyone is on the same page.

Use Positive Reinforcement

While constructive criticism is important for growth, coaches should also focus on positive reinforcement. Acknowledging players’ successes, even small ones, helps build confidence and motivation. Coaches should praise efforts, teamwork, and individual accomplishments. Positive reinforcement can be just as powerful as pointing out mistakes because it boosts morale and fosters a positive atmosphere within the team.

Non-Verbal Communication Matters

In hockey, much communication happens on the ice, where verbal cues are only sometimes possible. Non-verbal communication, such as eye contact, body language, and hand signals, is vital in conveying messages during the game. Coaches can use signals to direct players without disrupting the flow of the game, and players can use body language to signal intentions to teammates. Being mindful of these non-verbal cues can help maintain coordination and trust.

Implement Regular Check-ins

Regular check-ins between coaches and players help ensure alignment on goals, performance, and areas for improvement. These one-on-one sessions allow players to discuss their personal progress, voice any concerns, and receive tailored advice. Coaches can offer guidance on individual development, whether it’s improving skating skills or positioning. These check-ins provide players with a sense of attention and importance while also giving coaches insight into their players’ mental and emotional states.

Lead by Example

Coaches are role models, and their behavior sets the tone for how communication should be handled within the team. Coaches who exhibit respect, patience, and a strong work ethic are more likely to inspire the same qualities in their players. Players are more likely to mirror these behaviors when coaches actively listen, show empathy, and speak respectfully. Leading by example creates a culture of positive communication, both on and off the ice.

Encourage Team Communication

Communication should extend beyond the coach-player relationship. Encouraging players to communicate with each other during games fosters teamwork and collaboration. On-ice communication, such as calling for passes or alerting teammates to an opposing player’s position, can differentiate between a successful play and a missed opportunity. A team that communicates effectively with each other builds chemistry and trust, which translates to better performance.

Effective communication between hockey coaches and players is essential for team success. By using clear, concise language, fostering an open environment, reinforcing positive behavior, and encouraging teamwork, both coaches and players can ensure better coordination, motivation, and performance. Good communication helps during games and builds trust, confidence, and a stronger team culture that lasts throughout the season.

E questa volta l'avvocato Mirnes Ajanović lavora nell'interesse della gente, a differenza di tanti che ne parlano solo, e da anni fanno il contrario.

Lo staff di crisi popolare della Bosnia ed Erzegovina ha consegnato all'Istituto di ingegneria chimica doo Tuzla, al laboratorio di prova, un campione di sabbia dal sud della Tunisia e un campione di sabbia dalla città di Dobošnica Donja vicino a Lukavac

Il rapporto di prova datato 24 maggio 2022 con il numero: 361-02/22 (per la sua preparazione sono stati pagati 725,40 KM), in cui è stato stabilito che nel campione testato proveniente dalla BiH sono presenti 24 elementi e che in relazione al L'ordinanza sulla determinazione della quantità di sostanze nocive e pericolose nel suolo della FBiH ha stabilito che il contenuto di arsenico, bario, nichel e zinco nel campione è superiore al valore limite consentito. Rispetto alla sabbia del Sahara e alla sabbia sahariana della pioggia, si è riscontrato che la pioggia sporca contiene arsenico 44 volte di più, bario 660, nichel 2500, zinco 64 e ferro 23 volte di più. Inoltre, è stato determinato che i campioni contengono 14,2 mg/kg di alluminio nella sabbia del Sahara, mentre la sabbia della pioggia sporca in BiH contiene 10.342 mg/kg, ovvero 728 volte più alluminio.

Benny Greb + Pete Lockett: Tea For Steve 

In 2015, he released the DVD "The Art And Science Of Groove".

Born in 1980 in the town of Augsburg, Germany, Benny was given with his first set of drums when just six years old and so began his drumming journey. Initially, Benny was self taught, playing along to records before he took his first lesson when 12 years old and he quickly progressed to playing in punk bands before discovering rock and jazz and getting involved in the various bands that his school had to offer. 

In 1997 Benny began his full time study in earnest when he attended music schools firstly in Dinkelsbuhl and then in Hamburg.

Today, Benny can be found playing with a broad assortment of musicians, all demanding his tasteful and immaculate playing style. You can find him in rock settings with Stoppok and The Ron Spielman Trio, in jazz, with his own Benny Greb Brass Band. Pop and Funkmusic too receives Benny's tasteful approach, recording and touring with Jerobeam.

Benny has also played classical music, working with the NDR Orchestra on their Zappa project. Benny's ability to mix jazz and rock finds him also working with fusion band 3ergezimmer. Allowing for his sense of humour to come to the fore, Benny performs with acoustic punk/cabaret act Strom & Wasser, clearly showing that no style is beyond his tasteful, yet fun loving approach.

As well as the previously named artists Benny has worked with Christian von Richthofen, where the duo feature a car as a percussion instrument and of course, Benny is also a highly in-demand session player, not forgetting composer and producer.

Benny's pure love of the drums compels him to show other - particularly young players, his approach to the instrument and he regularly teaches at the Hamburg School of Music, the Popakademie in Mannheim, the Popkurs of the Hochschule fur Music and Theater in Hamburg and the Bandcamp of the Bayerische Musikacademie Hammelburg.

Benny tours globally, entertaining drummers worldwide with clinics for Sonor and Meinl at such high profile events such as the Montreal Drum Festival, Canada, Ultimate Drummers Weekend, Australia, the World Drum Festival, Germany, Drummer Live, UK, and at PASIC in the USA.

Benny writes, records and releases his own solo records with Grebfruit being one such release. The Language of Drumming - A System For Musical Expression DVD was released in 2009 on the Hudson Music label, showing his unique approach to drumming.

Tips from someone who suffers from crouching pain and on some days just lacks the energy to cook even quick recipes like that.

Potatoes do come in jars precooked, can be eaten cold and just need warming up

Onions can be found diced and frozen at most stores for pasically the same price and there is no real difference

You don't need to peel potatoes just wash them

For procecors come for like 10 bucks in really small versions and will safe your life

Milk, eggs and one carb of your choice is all you ever truely need

Minute rice, even plain one, is worth it

You can cut and freeze most vegetables and store them for later

If cooked long enough in a soup most veggies and boneless meat don't really need cutting cus you can tear them appart later while eating

recipes will be like "prep time: 3 minutes" & the ingredience list is like "2 sweet potatoes peeled & diced" girlie they do not come like that

塚越慎子は、パリ国際マリンバコンクール第1位受賞をはじめ、ベルギー国際マリンバコンクール、世界マリンバコンクールなど国内外のコンクールにて数々の賞を受賞して、現在最も注目を集めるマリンバ奏者の一人である。国立音楽大学附属音楽高等学校を経て、国立音楽大学を首席で卒業。同時に「武岡賞」受賞。また、最優秀生として皇居内桃華楽堂にて御前演奏を行う。第8回 日本クラシック音楽コンクール打楽器部門第1位（1998年）、第2回 国際マリンバコンクール（ベルギー）第2位（2004年）、第4回 世界マリンバコンクール（上海）にて「The Talent Award」（2005年）、第22回 日本打楽器協会新人演奏会にてグランプリ（2006年）、第2回 パリ国際マリンバコンクール（フランス）第1位（2006年）を受賞。ソロ活動の他、読売日本交響楽団、東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団、宮崎国際音楽祭祝祭管弦楽団、東京シティ･フィルハーモニック管弦楽団、群馬交響楽団、広島交響楽団ほかと共演し、高い評価を得ている。また、ベルギー、スイス、ポーランド、アメリカ、イギリス、アルゼンチン等から招待され、ソロリサイタルやマスタークラスを行う。世界最大の打楽器フェスティヴァルであるPASIC（国際打楽器協会インターナショナルコンヴェンション／2009年）や、パタゴニア国際打楽器フェスティヴァル（2012，2019、2022年／アルゼンチン）、アメリカン・パーカッショ ン・セミナー（2022年／アメリカ）にゲスト出演するなど、国際的に活動している。国立音楽大学、（財）明治安田クオリティオブライフ文化財団から奨学金を、また同財団「海外研修生助成金」を打楽器奏者としては初めて授与され、2008年より2010年までアメリカ、ノーステキサス州立大学にて研鑽を積む。ＣＤはこれまでに4枚リリース、最新盤はデビュー15周年記念「Cantabile」。デビューCD「DEAR MARIMBA」および最新盤「Cantabile」は、「レコード芸術」誌で特選盤に選ばれた。現在、国立音楽大学、洗足学園音楽大学で非常勤講師として後進の指導にも力を注いでいる。2011年度、第22回出光音楽賞受賞。 ・塚越慎子 オフィシャルサイト

Lolita Davidovich as Grace Pasic in Play it to the Bone (1999). Lolita was born in London, Ontario, and has 101 acting credits from Class (1983) to three 2023 episodes of CSI: Vegas. This is her second honorable mention, after Gods and Monsters.

Her other notable credits include two episodes of Days of Our Lives, Adventures in Babysitting, JFK, Leap of Faith, Cobb, Jungle 2 Jungle, and Mystery Alaska.
