Kalpit Veerwal of Resonance Made History by Achieving Full Marks in JEE (Main) 2017

Resonance, the most trusted coaching institute of Kota, maintained its winning streak in the JEE Main 2017 results declared on 27th April, 2017. Many students from the institute cleared the first of the two-phase hurdle on their way to securing admissions to the various centrally-funded technical education institutions in the country. Kalpit Veerwal, a student of regular classroom program created history by securing full marks in JEE (Main). The information was provided by the MD of Resonance – Mr. RK Verma.

Mr. RK Verma added that Kalpit has made us proud by achieving 360 out of 360 and surpassing the highest record of 355 marks. Kalpit took admission in Resonance in Class VIII in Udaipur Study Centre. Another student of Kota Study Centre Vishwajeet Agarwal clinched AIR 5 by securing 345 marks.

Mr. Verma said that so far total of 13,225 students have qualified for JEE (Advanced). 9,157 students are from regular classroom program and 4,068 from distant learning (DLPD and e-LPD).The highest number of selection which counts to 5,862 are from Kota study centre. There are 23,356 students from Resonance who are eligible to take admission in various NITs, IIIT, and CFTI. Out of the eligible students, 17,360 students are regular classroom students and 5,996 are distant learning students.

Mr. RK Verma also informed that 2 students bagged rank in Top 10, which also includes All India Topper – Kalpit and 20 students are positioned in Top 100. The top 100 rank holders include 10 from regular classroom program and 10 from distance learning program. There are 52 students of Resonance who have scored more than 300 marks in JEE (Main). Out of these students, 29 are from regular classroom program and 23 from distance learning program.

Mr. Verma added that only the top 2 lakh 20 thousand candidates (including all categories) who qualify in the Paper 1 of JEE Main 2017 are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2017 examination. Applicant appearing for JEE Advanced 2017 has to score minimum 75% marks (for Gen/OBC) and 65% marks (SC/ST/PwD) in 12th or equivalent class. Or, must be within the category-wise top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective Class XII (or equivalent) board examination. The score of JEE (Main) will be important for students to get admission in 31 NITs, 20 IIIT and other government funded colleges.

JEE (Advanced) 2017 will be held on May 21, 2017 in two phases.

The trailer starts with a strong emotion about the state of the party where Pankaj Tripathi portraying Atal ji says; “The happiness and prosperity we imagine to have in life, cinema portrays it on the screen. We believe what we watch on screen. Outside cinema halls there is also one screen in the eyes of this country’s innocent citizens, whatever you show them they will believe it to be true. Vishal Bhanushali presents Main Atal Hoon, Directed by National Awardee Ravi Jadhav, who gave movies like Natsamrat and Natrang, is set to bring Atal Bihari Vajpayee on silver screen on 19th Jan 24. The first single titled "Desh Pehle" was released on 25 December 2023. The second single titled "Ram Dhun" was released on 4 January 2024. The third single titled "Hindu Tan-Man" was released on 11 January 2024.

Jharkhand: Bank officer who died by suicide was a ‘key’ CBI witness in Rs 4 crore fraud case

Family members have also held the police and bank officials responsible for his death as he was being harassed regularly and sought justice from Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

RANCHI: In an unfortunate incident, a bank manager died by suicide allegedly for being harassed regularly by police in the name of investigation even after being given a clean chit by the CBI in a loan fraud case involving approximately Rs 4 crores.

Calling himself an honest, upright and innocent person in the suicide note left by him, he has held Jharkhand police and bank officials responsible for this extreme step taken by him under severe mental stress and trauma.

The Bank Manager Supriyo Majumdar died by suicide by hanging himself at his Ranchi-based residence on Sunday. Family members have also held the police and bank officials responsible for his death as he was being harassed regularly and sought justice from Chief Minister Hemant Soren.

The deceased’s sister alleged that it is not a suicide but a murder as he was compelled to end his life.

“My question is directed to the Ramgarh police as to how could they harass anybody who has already been given a clean chit by the CBI. Who has given them the right to interrogate a person if he was given a clean chit by CBI?”

She also requested CM Hemant Soren to come forward so that such an instance does not happen again anywhere in Jharkhand, further adding that, her brother even did not get any support from the bank officials.

The suicide note left by Majumdar suggests that he ended his life after Jharkhand police officials in Ramgarh in connivance with the senior manager (credit), BK Singh, and chief manager and branch head, Prafulla Kumar Behra, started a parallel investigation in the case and mounted undue pressure on him to give his statement before the police though he had helped the CBI collecting vital evidence in a loan fraud case.

According to family members, after clearing the Bank PO exam, he joined the Ramgarh Branch of Bank of India where a financial misapplication was done in disbursing a loan for 15 tankers in which his signature was taken forcefully.

“Since the matter involved several crores, the case was referred to CBI, which, after primary interrogation gave him a clean chit and made him a government witness in the case,” said a family friend Rajeev Ranjan. Later, he was given ‘best performer’ award and posted in Ranchi along with a promotion, he added.

According to Ranjan, on Friday they had gone to Ramgarh police and showed the documents in which he was given a clean chit by CBI. The officer in charge asked them to go to the SP and when they reached his place, he was not there. They also went to the DSP but could not meet him, he said.

“A phone call was received from the Ramgarh police station asking them to come again on Monday, but on Sunday evening he ended his life under intense pressure,” Ranjan said.

Ramgarh SP, however, has assured that proper action will be taken if anybody is found guilty in the case.

“It has been alleged in the suicide note and by family members that the deceased was harassed by the police officials,” said Ramgarh SP Piyush Kumar Pandey.

Proper investigation will be done after registering an FIR in the case, said the SP, adding that they are waiting for a formal complaint in this regard.

“The banker was issued notice under section 41A of CrPC on August 12. Prior to this, the police neither talked to him nor met him,” said the SP.

Yes the completion of the ‘film’ was a task .. a gentle idea shared by Prasoon Pandey, Director of Ad., films and with whom I had worked several times .. with him and his elder Piyush Pandey, head of that Ad., conglomerate O&M .. and when it came across to me , the thought of its extension in the format seen finally gave incentive to bring in greater value to it .. so I thought, I worked , I reacted, I shared , I got approval and then went to each of those stratospheric stars and celebrities with the idea .. calling them several times .. connecting them all .. all over the World all over the places they lived .. and then their agree .. the designing of the Demo by Prasoon .. the passing it on to the respective and in explanation , each one , each location .. convincing them .. and then the wait for their portion to arrive and putting it together .. the creatives all being followed up by the team .. each little protocol to be put in place .. diplomatically .. politically .. egoistically .. to be CORRECT and accepted .. yes .. all .. all done in this wonder world of internet wires and the mobility of the hand phone .. the modern day invention par excellence .. oh , done and covered with suitable time difference delays .. some within the time zone some not .. some really really far away .. but their love and support impeccable ..
