Realized something so funny about Yusuke while playing Strikers.

1. He suggests that the Phantom Thieves go to Kyoto on their vacation because he really wants an art tour, and he immediately gets vetoed. They then plan a barbecue, and he gets excited for that but then plans change when the Metaverse returns and they go on their road trip, so he gets deprived of that too. But every single time their vacation gets brought up he acts like these things are going to happen. "What about our Kyoto excursion" "our barbecue extravaganza" he is in his own little world where the Thieves listen to him. They actually do eventually go to Kyoto and he STILL doesn't get his art tour.

2. Zenkichi tells them that Alice Hiiragi went to the same school as the Thieves and Yusuke pipes up like "SHE WENT TO KOSEI HIGH??" Even though he is the only member of the Thieves who didn't go to Shujin Academy.

3. The scene where they discuss how they're going to go on their road trip without a vehicle and he announces that he has money like it's HIS MOMENT. Like it's the moment he's been waiting for his whole life, and Futaba responds "keep your snack money, Inari". Later he makes a comment about how he's gone from "rags to riches".

Every single case of this he gets the dramatic cut-in thing, so what I'm saying is Yusuke is convinced he's the main character through all of Strikers. Like he goes through the motions assuming the world will bend at his whimsy and the other Thieves just sigh and move on.

AU where Mr. D claiming to be Percy’s dad accidentally counts as Claiming according to Greek god law or whatever and now all the other gods legitimacy believe Percy is his son, but if Mr. D corrects it, he has to explain to Zeus why he pretended he was Percy’s dad so now he’s like “YEP ol’ Perry Johansson is MY child wowie just look at the little fry, you have your mother’s eyes. Please stop standing next to water or you will blow my cover”

Boyfriend!König who comes home from a deployment - he reeks, he’s sore, everything aches and he feels like death. but, as soon as the door clicks shut behind him his eyebrows furrow. somethings cooking and it smells familiar. he’s kicking his boots off at the door and shrugging his coat off as he walks towards the kitchen. and there you are, standing next to the stove with a spoon held up to your lips, listening to music and unaware of his presence

Boyfriend!König who coughs, not wanting to startle you with his sudden presence. it’s worth it though, seeing you look over at him, eyes lighting up as you practically tackle him for a hug. it’s a sweet, short moment, but König’s eyeing the stovetop. when you let go you excitedly tell him you’re making dinner, something special since he’s been gone for a couple weeks. “You can’t look! It’ll ruin the surprise— uh, actually, maybe take a shower. I’ll call you when it’s done, okay?”, he chuckled at your rushed words, moved towards your bathroom when you gave him a gentle shove

hair wet and dressed in some ratty sweatpants, Boyfriend!König comes back to the kitchen while toweling off his hair. the scent from the kitchen is stronger than when he came in, but it’s nothing compared to what’s on the counter. he freezes, a little wobbly when he puts his foot down and looks at the food. tafelspitz. and suddenly that familiar smell registers in his head, his mama’s cooking. you had called her regularly while he was deployed, spent every other day learning how to cook some of König’s childhood favorites

Boyfriend!König whose eyes get watery when he starts eating because, oh, it tastes exactly how his mama makes it. he hasn’t been back home in a year and a half - purely from bad timing and deployments - and he’s missed his mama’s food so much. König who gets up from the table, walks over to you while chewing and hugs you, not giving you the chance to stand up or properly hug him back. as soon as he swallows he’s babbling ‘thanks you’s and kissing the crown of your head, murmuring how ‘you didn’t have to’. he’s got you in a death squeeze, eyes closed as he presses his nose to your hair, “Ich liebe dich— you’re too good to me, Liebling.”

The fact we get to see one of the most feared and respected villains in video game history portrayed as an angelic experimental abomination to this teenage boy who wants to eat some yummy food. 🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭🤭

Heey You want to see something funny? I accidentally found these draft pages on my tablet. I was going to use them for the Tiny Tello episode, but then I stopped myself. Because if Casey really thought like that, it would mean that Donnie had actually given him reason to think that before. If Casey really did allow the thought that Donnie didn't really like him, it would mean that thought had some kind of foundation. Which isn't true. Donnie is really fucking weird and crazy, but he loves Casey and Casey knows it.

Which is why, in the final version of the episode, Casey is very puzzled and surprised that little Donnie is attacking him.

Instead of "oh I guess I deserved that" or “oh maybe he doesn’t like but just tolerating me” he thinks more "hey that's not how it's supposed to work".

I can’t take it!!! I can’t!!! I need Sun to sneak back into Nexus’ dimension, without Moon knowing. Finding Nexus in a wasteland miles wide, where the pretty forest used to be. Catching him at just the right time when he’s mellow enough not to attack immediately. Sun would bring a picnic. Not to convince him of anything, not to get forgiven then leave again. Just to be with Nexus. Maybe they play a card game, with Sun sometimes having to leave halfway through because the voices get too aggressive and Nexus starts to collapse on himself again. But, slowly, Nexus starts looking forward to Sun’s visits, and Sun can’t wait to go to Nexus’ peaceful dimension after the end of a long day. Every time Sun comes back, Nexus has something new he made. A grass doll. A clay pot. A basket made out of willow. Projects that took him weeks to make. Projects that he destroyed over and over in the name of the void when his frustrations got high. Sun brings more food, blankets. Nexus likes it best when he reads novels to him.

And then, Nexus slips. He’s hanging out with Sun, when he shows a picture of Daisy and Earth to him. He’s reminded of the afterlife, of Earth, of his fate to be stuck. here forever. And he gets mad. Furious, even. He screams, knocking over fir trees and smashing his projects into pieces. He stomps around, all claws and teeth and destruction. It lasts hours.

But, unlike before, Sun is still there. Untouched by Nexus’ rampage. Arms outstretched. And Nexus collapses into his touch and cries.
