I still prefer most how my webcam represents my face proportions:
I know that different focal lengths distort the face differently:
The first two photos, I shot with a 58mm, the third with a 35mm.
Some macbook pro webcams have 50mm focal lengths, but when I use a 50mm lens, it doesn't achieve the same proportions. Is there another spec at work? Or the lighting because we're automatically frontally lit from our laptop screen? Low resolution? I feel my eyes always look smaller and less wide in dslr photos for every focal length.
