#protest for palestine
Text
I deeply encourage any students at universities right now to seek out and join protests in support of Palestine. I understand that this can be intimidating, I understand that there can be consequences for doing this. However, the suffering that is being endured by Palestinians is far more than our small discomforts. Know that you are a part of a sea of students who want a better future.

Anyone else think that this is getting ridiculous? They rather throw their own population into prison than admit that they are guilty of aiding a genocide of a native people? No wonder that I have found so many posts and comments about people being ashamed of being westerners. I hope this madness ends soon.

ST. LOUIS SHUT DOWN A BOEING FACTORY TODAY! 🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸🇵🇸
instagram
at 7 am—
HAPPENING NOW: We're blocking all entrances to Boeing Building 598 outside St. Louis, the facility that manufactures Small Diameter Bombs (SDBs) and Joint Direct Attack Munition (JDAM) bombs for Israel to drop on Gaza. If politicians won't block the bombs, WE WILL!!
We DEMAND Congress and @potus call for an immediate ceasefire and stop arms sales and funding to Israel. We call on all communities to take direct action to shut down Boeing and other companies that profit from Israel's genocide and occupation.
update at 9 am—
WE SHUT IT DOWN !! All workers have been sent home and deliveries stopped at @boeing building 598.

If you aren't already following her, please do!! This is such an extensive list with resources for many countries. They are an educational-based page, and they share so many donation links for many world issues ongoing -and also amplify Palestinian voices, art, creators, and culture. I love their work/page so much.
They also posted this recently about Palestinian embroidery. I have shared their content here previously, but I wanted to let folks know once again:

“companies that ‘support’ israel” …no idea what they meant by the use of quotations here but…
Yes, boycotting is a legitimate form of protest, for reasons both ethical and tactical.
No, boycotting colonizers who are committing genocide in the name of the Jewish people is most certainly not antisemitism, in fact it falls in line pretty well with Jewish values.
Ffs. Why do I even google things anymore.

I've already organized a silent protest in my area, I strongly encourage every single person who sees this to do the same. People do care. Someone just has to be brave enough to speak up first (though I'd hardly call it brave to say "I don't like genocide actually.").
Praying is nothing, social media is good but not enough, and donations are rotting away in the desert because the IDF is violently refusing any entry into Gaza. If you can't protest, spread the word so people who can will see this.
Make noise.

Don't lose focus! Yes, the university campus protests are excellent, but remember WHY and WHAT they are protesting.

This is something everyone can do. If you don't feel safe going to protests (especially in the US) lean out your window and bang your pots at 9pm every evening. There is no given length of time, but even 5 minutes of noise is going to be heard, is going to be questioned by your neighbours, and that's exactly what we want! When your neighbours or people on the street ask what you're doing you tell them! Film yourself doing it! Put it on instagram, tiktok, Facebook, HERE, so that people can see. And maybe when people see all these people banging pots yelling "free Palestine" and "free Gaza", they'll wonder, "why the pots?" And maybe they'll google it. Maybe they'll realise what's going on. Maybe they'll join in banging their pots and call for an end to the forced famine that's taking place in the north of Gaza. Maybe. But we won't know until we try.

WokeKaren on YT and TikTok.
To summarize:
In Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi, if a single protester gets violent (or a counter-protestor hijacks the protest and breaks something purposefully), the person who hosted the protest would get in legal trouble.
Stay safe everyone!
