I'm in the middle of playing BN2 and recently finished the Netopia section (also boy howdy it was a wild ride I could not stop hollering). These are broken-up pieces of the conversation-- by memory-- where Lan and Hub make up from their previous argument.

I was mainly paying attention to Hub's attitude during this. Especially with the line where he feels it was fair for him to get jumped after Lan left him alone, I couldn't help but just go awwww (sad).

Things to take in consideration:

My first language isn’t English. So if you see mistakes (grammar wise) please let me know so the replies are better.

My replies will vary on my mood, they can be long or they can be short, I’m still a student because college (so I won’t reply constantly, but I will do my best to be as fast as I can and I hope you can do the same). 

If you don’t like the plot or any of the storylines we get to do (that is if you decide to rp with me) please let me know, so we can change the plot or even start a new one!

Unraveling the PQ(1&2) Timelines

In the spirit of P5T and figuring out where it takes place....Let’s do PQ! Whether you’ve figured it out or just want a guide to reference back, here’s the post for you! So looking at the dates and what is told.....:

PQ1:

Side P3:  The date Liz is telling us the story is unclear, she states "On the night of a typhoon merely a few days ago" and then the game states September 20, 2009 (aka last day of typhoon). So Liz’s story/Shinji’s cooking should be not long after 09/20/09, possibly between 9/25-10/3.

Side P4: stated to be Sunday, Oct 30, 2011 (after the pageant has ended, begins with a premonition for PQ1 before it takes place). The ending seems to be a variation on the Tues 10/11 study group scene

PQ2:

P3: 9/10-10/3? 2009, 9/10 at the earliest since that is when Tziah Block first opens, and we see them there. 

P3P: Somewhere between  9/16-10/2 2009 (I believe they mention Shinji cooking for the team, which is an event in his actual SL, thus I calculated the dates that SL event could happen at the earliest vs the latest). (2/12/24 edit: see below for explanation, but the dates might be closer to 10/1-10/2 now)

P4: Aprox dates 10/30-11/4 or 11/5 2011 (beauty competition seems to have happened since Teddie is seen in his crossdressing outfit, but Nanako hasn't been kidnapped).

P5: Somewhere around 10/29-10/30ish? 2016, ending is sometime after that but before 11/18 (aka Sae’s calling card date), they mention the current dungeon is moving along nicely so there’s probs a lot of time before that. 

Hikari during PQ2:  is in high school. Year somewhere between 2014-2016 (P5 is 2016). Unsure if she is a 1st, 2nd or 3rd year. 2014 is when Mako would've been a 1st year.

Hikari in PQ2′s ending/epilogue: 2016, same time as P5 epilogue, stated to still be a high school student, unsure if she is a 1st, 2nd or 3rd year.

I’ll need to run through them again (these are notes from when I went through it the first time, but I def need a refresher), PQ1 for the most part is def locked in tbh (I mean they give us the dates at the beginning of said games, at least when the Q1 events took place). Edit: PQ1 side P3 ending could be between 9/21-10/3 (I have a feeling something is happening between 9/21-9/24 which is why I didn’t choose an earlier date but it could be one of those, again these are older notes from a few years ago so I need to go back and check)

The only ones up in the air are the endings. PQ2 is a bit more.......loosey goosey. I’m tempted to say P3/P/4 are around the same time as PQ1....either because there’s a timeline where PQ1 didn’t happen OR right after PQ1 their asses got yeeted into PQ2 soon after akfjlsjf

If you have any thoughts/suggestions to help narrow it down, I’d be up for it! 

I guess P3/5D is next. And to make a timeline after that. 

Feb 12th, 2024 Edit: It’s possible that, at least on the FeMC’s side (since she was asleep in her dorm room for the events of PQ2, and we dunno how much time passes for P3/4/5 since waking up) she’s shown her uniform. It’s the sees one which they wear regardless of weather iirc. But she was studying before falling asleep so she most likely wasn’t going to Tartarus (tho tbh every1 on both P3 sides are wearing armbands for some gd reason outside Tar so it’s possible that the devs forgot/were too lazy to remove them). 

BUT if they did remember the timeline and weren’t just lazy with the models, it’s possible that the possible timeframe for PQ2 (at least on FeMC’s side) is 10/1-10/2 (with Shinji’s SL in consideration)

quick Questions what do you think fusions between Rei from PQ and Makoto Yuki from Persona 3 a fusion of Hikari from PQ2 and Yu Narukami from Persona 4 and a fusion of Kanami Mashita from dancing all night and Akiren Kurusu from persona 5 would look and act like and what personas would they have?

They would all have Something going on with gender

Rei and Mint fusion is probably dead and/or a ghost

Hikari and Yu fusion mayhaps basil omori energy

Kanami akira fusion uhhhh anxiety but hiding it behind being dramatic

Denial of some sort seems essential to abyss and some knowledge of a collective unconscious and how it works. Also these responsible for one have so far been persona users. Also what is the difference from the Arena labyrinths (I mean we have both Asterius and Ariadne.) and PQ/PQ2 Labyrinths. Maybe we can call Area Labyrinths Area Labyrinths and PQ/PQ2 Labyrinths rescue labyrinths since that seems to be the purpose of those labyrinths. Though Labrys and Sho are rescued/helped and you have to fight a god that tried to help a girl in a flawed/counterproductive way but are able to bring peace to Rei and Hikari. (Rei in more than one way.) And in PQ there’s the Philemon butterfly that’s released.

I mean the Arena labryinths are just part of the TV World, in Sho’s case it’s just leaking into reality like at the end of Persona 5

The thing about the Persona Q labyrinths is that each of them are different things

In Persona Q it’s a world shaped by Rei’s desire for a normal life that Zen made for her, it’s not really something that can sprout out of anywhere, which might make it closer to The Dark Hour or Jails (basically the thing I’m using to determine what’s artificial is if you can point to someone who made it intentionally, in the case of Mementos and the TVWorld, Yaldy was born *from* humanities desires and we can tell that the TV World predates Izanami because after she’s defeated Teddie says “this is what this place used to look like before the fog”) if it’s not a naturally occurring part of the Collective Unconscious it would also explain how Philemon could get stuck

With Persona Q2 it’s a little trickier because what the fuck is up with Nagi is unclear but I’m more inclined to think it’s closer to Mementos/The TV World/SEKAI in that it’s naturally occurring, since Nagi seems to be part of the “born from the collective unconscious and tries to grant people’s wish in a very self destructive way” because it also seems to naturally pull in other people, which didn’t happen in PQ (aside from the Persona user so that’s a special case)

I haven’t replayed either PQ game in years tho so take that with a grain of salt if I fucked up the lore

Hikari and Nagi’s Official Art

While I like Hikari a lot already, something seems...off about Nagi’s design. FOr some reason, I get a stage mom-y kind of vibe from her?

Nagi’s name is also written in katakana in text boxes, while Hikari’s in hiragana.

Obviously, I feel Nagi is going to be our “Zen” character, and I’ll do some reaearch and speculate what kind of god she could be. (I get Hera vibes from her, but I don’t think that’s right...)

Hikari, however I definitely feel is from Tatsumi Port Island, like Rei was from Inaba. The uniform matches a lot with Gekkoukan’s, and during the falling sequence in the first trailer, I mistook her for Ken for a brief second. I think she may be younger than the cast though, probably around middle school age.

I’m curious to see what these two characters will bring to the table!
