Spider-Boy Gets Ongoing Comic Book Series

Spider-Boy is getting his own ongoing series at Marvel Comics. The character was introduced in Dan Slott and Mark Bagley’s Spider-Man series in issue #7, where no one remembered him, and had his first solo adventure in Edge of Spider-Verse #3. Now Bailey Briggs will headline his own series, Spider-Boy, from writer Dan Slott and artist Paco Medina.

“Here comes the spectacular Spider-Boy! After the events of "The End of the Spider-Verse” story arc, Spider-Boy’s secret history as Spider-Man’s sidekick was nearly forgotten forever. But now those mysteries will be revealed while they embark on exciting new adventures…TOGETHER!” The first issue of Spider-Boy will contain two tales - one in which Bailey teams up with Squirrel Girl and the other where he confronts Madame Monstrosity, the mad scientist who made him into a monster.

Spider-Boy #1, featuring a cover by Humberto Ramos, goes on sale on November 1, 2023.

La trama narra la historia de Aurora Campero, presidenta del Corporativo Campero, quien en su juventud se comprometió con Antonio Murrieta, un joven que la ama profundamente. Real Talk: I wish that Humberto Ramos was drawing the Spider-Boy comics! I mean no disrespect to Paco Medina, he does a great job! However in my own opinion I prefer Humberto's designs and scenes over Paco's own!
