I just discovered this song, and it’s PAINFULLY Crowley after s2. so now I’m just sitting here sobbing 😭😭😭
All I wanna do is take it all back, but I can’t rewind
Get my head on straight and get my heart in line
I know I play it off like I just don’t care
But I still hear your voice in my head sometimes
Don’t know what I became when you walked out
You were too far away to see the fallout
If you ever really wanted me
You should’ve fought for me; you should’ve died for me
Truth is, I love when it hurts
I know it’s fucked up, that’s the way that my heart works
I only want when I’m not wanted; I only love after I’ve lost it
Do you really love me or just love what you want me to be?
And on the battlefield of what we used to be
Would you have fought for me?
Would you have died for me?
And would you climb up into the sky into the stars for me?
And would you promise that you’d give up who you are for me?
And would you get down on your knees and pray to God for me?
Like?? How the fuck is this so perfect for him???
(also when I’m imagining Crowley embodying this song, after all the “would you …” parts, he’s thinking “…like I always have for you.” and yes, I am dead inside, thank you for asking)

just went down a youtube rabbit hole and found the first band that I ever truly loved, paradise fears. listening for the first time in years to the songs that kept me alive for so long made me realise that although the struggle is far from over, I came so much further than I ever could have imagined. man, I just want to give my younger self a hug, and tell her all about the things yet to come, and how much better it gets.
you know, that band never really blew up or became super famous (though personally I think they should have). the fan base stayed quite a small community, but scrolling through the comments of those songs, where everyone told their own story of how this music gave them the strength to go own, of how this small band from south dakota changed their lives.... well, inspiring doesn't even begin to describe it. those guys put their heart and soul into their music, and some people out there heard it, some people saw a reflection of themselves in the lyrics and found reasons to keep fighting. and to some people, it made all the difference.
I guess what I'm saying is that art is never pointless, and that popularity doesn't define its worth. you may never know, but somebody out there will see your art, and it'll impact their life in some way. you can't change the whole world, but you can change someone's world, and, well, thats practically the same thing. maybe that someone will even be yourself.

Name 4 songs that you consider YOURS. Songs that no one else understands like you. Songs that they can try to pry from your cold dead hands.
Tagged by @afterdeck-ace ofc 💜 Thks!
- Anything, by Thomas Sanders (feat. Jay Harper, Leo Anderson, Nicole Visco and Terrence Williams Jr.)
Watching @thatsthat24's videos a few years back helped me during a very difficult time. And this song just resonated within me at that time. It still does today.
- Sanctuary, by Paradise Fears
I'm not a religious person really, but for some reason this song has been following me since my teenage years and it calms me down every time I listen to it.
- Starlight, by The Supermen Lovers
This song is basically my childhood. It's my Madeleine of Proust. I think it's French even tho the lyrics are in English.
- Cheese, by Stray Kids
I do not know why. I just relate to it for some reason.
Special mention for Cover Me by Stray Kids. Cause this song's been calming my anxiety lately.
I'm tagging @alabaster-moon and @chaoticpanenergy if you wanna give it a go! 🫶 And anyone who wants!

Ooooh as far as feel-good anthems go, I've got one that's Ladybug talking to Chat Noir: Battle Scars by Paradise Fears.
This is an anthem for the homesick
For the beaten
The lost, the broke, the defeated
This anthem is for Chat, for Adrien, for Marinette's partner who's been beaten up and chewed out, who's been suppressed and controlled and put through such hell, that a lot of other people would've given up already.
A song for the heartsick
For the standbys
Living life, in the shadow of the goodbye
But it's also for her, for Marinette, who's been heartsick and living life believing that her precious partner was dead and gone.
Do you remember when we learned how to fly?
We'd play make-believe
We were young and had time on our side
Marinette's telling Adrien to remember back when they were Ladybug and Chat Noir, a duo, and believed they'd always be by each other's side, when nothing could separate them. The days when they used to run and fly together.
You're stuck, on the ground
Got lost, can't be found
Just remember that you're still alive
Marinette knows the bind Adrien's in, with the orders he's under. But she's pleading for him to hang on. To remember that he's still alive. To not give up hope.
I'll carry you home
No, you're not, alone
Keep marching on
This. Is. Worth. fighting for
You know we've, all got battle scars
Marinette isn't leaving Adrien alone. Not ever again. She'll fight for him. And he might be scarred by this experience, but both of them are. They're in this together now.
You've had enough
But just don't, give up
Stick to your guns
You. Are. Worth. Fighting for
You know we've, all got battle scars
Keep marching on
She needs him to continue holding on. To keep fighting. Because he's worth fighting FOR. He needs to keep marching on, even when it seems impossible.
This is a call to the soldiers
The fighters
The young, the innocent, and righteous
We've got a little room to grow
Better days are near
Hope, is so much stronger than fear
This will be over soon. Things will get better. Hope is stronger than fear.
So if you jump, kid, don't be scared to fall
We'll be kings and queens in this dream, all for one, one for all
You can light up the dark
There's a fire in your heart
Burning brighter than ever before
Marinette and Adrien will be there for each other. With Adrien burning brighter than ever before. The fire in his heart hasn't been snuffed out, despite the villains best efforts: it's stronger than ever.
On and on,
Like we're living on a broken record.
Hope is strong
But misery's a little quicker
Sit, and we wait, and we drown there
Thinking, "Why bother play when it's unfair?"
But continuing on isn't easy. Marching on gets harder and harder, and giving up seems easier and easier. There doesn't seem like there's anyway to succeed in fighting back without something worse happening, and it's easy to just give up trying.
And yet...
They say life's a waste
I say they lack belief
They tell me luck will travel
I tell 'em that's why I've got feet
Left, right, left, right
Moving along to the pulse of a heartbeat
Maybe things look horrible. Maybe they ARE horrible. But with your own two feet, your own two hands, you can make things better. You can struggle forwards into tomorrow.
This could be the last chance you have to fly
Do you like the ground?
Want it to pass you by?
Man, you had it all when you were just kid
Do you even remember
Who you were back then?
What do you want in life?
Will you be twice as strong?
What would you sacrifice?
What are you waiting on?
Don't. Stop. March. On
Marinette's urging Adrien to remember how they were in the past, a duo, how they fought together. For him to remember that resistance, that strength. And to keep marching on.
looks like we have very similar taste in music because I LOVE THIS SONG lol ❤️
i think this is a good song for the place marinette and adrien are in right now. i can especially see marinette singing this to adrien as almost a comforting lullaby? she knows he's suffering and only wants to save him, to heal him. she'll "carry him home" back to her ❤️
it's a really beautiful choice because it shows how soft her heart suddenly is, but also how strong. marinette's got to be strong for adrien and has to continue to encourage him to be strong to so they can get out of this alive and together!
