Please, understand, the part of Obamacare "Patient Protection" means covering Pre-Existing conditions, and covering kids until 26 on parents insurance. The other part was "Medicaid". Which is covering the working class, poor people, and the disabled. This is divide, and conquer. Plus, remember, the Supreme Court killed the National Mandate before it even started, meaning only about 20 of 50 states had Medicaid, which cut the healthcare savings that were possible, by including everyone. It was sabotaged before it started.

The Crucial Role of Enterprise Risk Management in Modern Healthcare
Tumblr media
Imagine you're a tightrope walker, thousands of feet above the ground. Without a safety net, any misstep can lead to disaster. Now, think of the healthcare sector as this tightrope walker. With the myriad of complexities, regulations, and unpredictable factors that can pop up every day, having a robust safety net is paramount. Entering the safety net we all need: enterprise risk management software in healthcare. This is not just any safety net; it's a dynamic, adaptable, and resilient one that assures everyone on the rope can perform their best without the constant fear of falling.
Ready to know more? Let's unravel the magic thread by thread, shall we?
What is Enterprise Risk Management in Healthcare Anyway?
You might be wondering, what's the big deal about enterprise risk management in healthcare? Let's break it down. At its core, it's about identifying potential risks, assessing them, and putting in place strategies to manage those risks. Think of it as a proactive approach rather than a reactive one.
In the healthcare sector, there are countless unpredictable factors. From patient care challenges to technology hiccups to regulatory changes. Having a system that spots potential threats before they escalate? That’s the golden ticket.
And guess what? This golden ticket isn't reserved for a select few. Every stakeholder, from medical professionals to administrative staff, plays a part in making enterprise risk management in healthcare a success.
By embracing this approach, healthcare providers ensure smoother operations, better patient outcomes, and yes, a sigh of relief knowing they're backed up by a robust system.
The Game-Changing Benefits of Enterprise Risk Management in Healthcare
Sure, enterprise risk management in healthcare sounds neat, but what's in it for the healthcare sector? Well, a lot. For starters, it helps in early risk detection. By spotting issues before they blow up, institutions can save resources, reputation, and most importantly, lives.
Secondly, it promotes a culture of safety. When everyone is tuned into the risk management frequency, it fosters an environment where safety is the norm, not the exception. It's like having a team where everyone is a goalkeeper, always on the lookout, and ready to defend.
Lastly, it enhances decision-making. Armed with the right information and tools, healthcare providers can make informed decisions. It's like having a roadmap in a maze, guiding you at every twist and turn.
Real-Life Instances: Enterprise Risk Management in Action
Picture this: A hospital is planning to implement a new electronic health record (EHR) system. It’s shiny and promising, and everyone’s excited. But with this system come potential risks: data breaches, system downtime, and training challenges, to name a few.
By employing enterprise risk management, the hospital can anticipate these risks. They can put measures in place to mitigate them. So instead of panicking when there's a system glitch, they have a backup plan, trained staff, and solutions ready to deploy.
Another scenario? A sudden outbreak of a contagious disease. With a solid risk management plan, hospitals can predict resource needs, mobilize teams faster, and ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
Best Practices to Maximize Enterprise Risk Management in Healthcare
So, you're sold on enterprise risk management in healthcare. That’s great, but… how do you make the most of it?
Begin by fostering a culture of open communication. Encourage staff at all levels to voice concerns and observations. Remember, it’s a team game.
Secondly, invest in training. Equip your team with the skills and knowledge they need to be effective risk managers. It’s like giving them a magnifying glass to spot even the tiniest of threats.
Lastly, keep revisiting and refining your strategies. The healthcare landscape is ever-evolving, and so should your risk management approach. It's about being agile, adaptable, and always on your toes.
Challenges to Implementing Enterprise Risk Management
While the benefits of enterprise risk management in healthcare are plenty, it’s not without its challenges. First up, is resistance to change. It’s human nature. Introducing a new system or approach can often meet with skepticism. The key? Consistent communication and highlighting the bigger picture.
Then there’s the challenge of resources. Implementing a robust risk management system requires investment: both time and money. Here, long-term vision becomes crucial. It’s not about the immediate costs, but the long-term savings and benefits.
Lastly, the vastness of the healthcare sector can be daunting. With so many departments and functions, integrating them under one risk management umbrella can seem overwhelming. But remember, step by step, brick by brick, it’s doable.
The Future of Enterprise Risk Management in Healthcare
The horizon of healthcare is vast and ever-evolving, and as we stand at its edge, enterprise risk management in healthcare looms large, promising a safer and more efficient future.
Firstly, with the integration of artificial intelligence and machine learning, risk management is on the cusp of a revolution. Predictive models can analyze vast data sets, recognize patterns, and forecast potential risks way before they materialize.
Furthermore, with the global community becoming more interconnected, the sharing of risk management strategies across borders will become commonplace. Hospitals in New York might soon be implementing strategies tested and refined in Tokyo or Mumbai. This cross-pollination of ideas ensures that best practices are not confined within borders but are shared, refined, and implemented globally.
Additionally, as patient care becomes more personalized with treatments like gene therapy and personalized medicine, risk management will need to adapt. Enterprise risk management in healthcare will play a pivotal role in ensuring that these bespoke treatments are delivered safely, taking into account the unique risks they may present.
But it's not just about technology and global collaboration. The future will also see a stronger emphasis on the human aspect. Emotional intelligence, understanding patient behaviors, and predicting human errors will become crucial components of risk management. After all, machines can crunch numbers, but understanding the human heart and mind? That’s where the real challenge and opportunity lie. For more details contact us at https://www.safequal.net/contact-us/.
Lastly, sustainability and eco-friendly practices are making waves in every sector, and healthcare is no exception. The future of enterprise risk management will also encompass strategies to reduce carbon footprints, manage bio-waste efficiently, and ensure a sustainable healthcare environment.
Conclusion
Navigating the intricate world of healthcare can often feel like walking on a tightrope. But with enterprise risk management in healthcare, the sector gets more than just a safety net. It gets a strategy, a plan, and a vision for a future where risks are not just managed but anticipated and mitigated. Embracing it isn’t just a smart move; it's the need of the hour.

this is the stupidest crossover possible but I want Tim to make House his doctor
yes that House
Tumblr media
why? He needs someone who is very good, will not give up or send Tim out to a different specialist just because his medical condition is difficult, will not be overly concerned about the danger Tim puts himself in, and will lie on Tim's medical records AND to Batman/Bruce Wayne/all of the Bats without hesitation or fear.
House is and will do all of those things without hesitation. He has no shame, no boundaries, he WILL get into a public fight with Bruce Wayne if it means keeping that man out of his patient's (and House's) business. He will help Tim lie to and gaslight the rest of his family without hesitation.
in exchange, Tim is his favorite patient. Not because they get along, necessarily, Tim is a know-it-all little shit and they constantly bicker and House hates how practically every facet of Tim's existence is a lie (and Tim thinks House is a smug know-it-all jackass who is needlessly cruel and callous bc he thinks the world owes him and never delivers just bc he's in pain, news flash a lot of people are in pain and manage not to be assholes) BUT, 1, Tim brings him really interesting cases and problems, and 2, Tim NEVER lies to House about his medical conditions or what he was doing when they happened.
He lies about literally almost everything else under the sun TO everyone else, but he is 100% completely upfront and honest about his medical history and what is going on with him with House.
admittedly it takes a while for House to realize Tim ISN'T lying to him because some of the shit he says is completely insane ("the vigilante thing is pretty obvious but what do you MEAN you got the Apocalypse virus TWICE, AND SURVIVED, AS A FOURTEEN-FIFTEEN YEAR OLD")
but once he realizes Tim doesn't ever lie to him, he becomes House's favorite patient because at least TIM gives him all of the data he needs as best he's able the moment he asks. At least House doesn't have to waste his time following up on bogus information or figuring out the truth, he can just get right into the meat of the medical issue at hand.
also it's so fun to lie directly to Batman's face, know the man knows, and know he can't do anything about it

"Physicians have a history of antagonism to the idea that they themselves might present a health risk to their patients. Famously, when Hungarian physician Ignaz Semmelweis originally proposed handwashing as a measure to reduce purpureal fever, he was met with ridicule and ostracized from the profession.
Physicians were also historically reluctant to adopt new practices to protect not only patients but also physicians themselves against infection in the midst of the AIDS epidemic. In 1985, the CDC presented its guidance on workplace transmission, instructing physicians to provide care, “regardless of whether HCWs [health care workers] or patients are known to be infected with HTLV-III/LAV [human T-lymphotropic virus type III/lymphadenopathy-associated virus] or HBV [hepatitis B virus].”
These CDC guidelines offered universal precautions, common-sense, nonstigmatizing, standardized methods to reduce infection. Yet, some physicians bristled at the idea that they need to take simple, universal public health steps to prevent transmission, even in cases in which infectivity is unknown, and instead advocated for a medicalized approach: testing or masking only in cases when a patient is known to be infected. Such an individualized medicalized approach fails to meet the public health needs of the moment."

I know people say we have six episodes left, but no, we don't. not when it comes to Cassian. the last three episodes are set directly before Rogue One. weeks or days, I'm not sure, but the last scene is going to lead into Rogue One. we have always known that. what that means is that by then, by the last arc, Cassian should already be the man we see in Rogue One. and what that also means is that they have three episodes left to get him to that point. and so far, it doesn't feel like we've gotten any closer to that man. in fact, we may have gotten further away.
at the end of season 1, it looks like we got there. "kill me or take me in." sure, maybe he would still have doubts sometimes or question an order or lose hope. but this is not that. this is full-on regression from how we ended season 1, something even Luthen himself rightly comments on. it feels like they wasted the first two arcs by having him do practically nothing. barely in the first three episodes, spending most of the time as a hostage, then we see him playing house, shopping, cooking (okay, I enjoyed that but at what cost?), going on a mission very very reluctantly (which were still the best parts of the arc imo), and once again disappearing for a great chunk of episode 6. and the scenes he did have? going to Luthen in the middle of the night, risking everything to confront him? barely wanting to accept the mission at all? saying that maybe he's not that much of a revolutionary? this is where we end a mere two years before Rogue One?
and don't forget, there's gonna be another time skip. so now we're a year before Rogue One, and there's no sight of the man who takes orders without question, no sign of the dedicated, life-weary, emotionally closed-off rebel spy anywhere. unless, of course, his development happens off-screen during the time skip but that would also be quite an interesting choice, would it not?
where was the character development? how will all this be reconciled in three episodes? how am I meant to believe that just a year short of Rogue One, he's still not fully committed? he's still not any closer to to the character we see there? where is the Cassian Andor I know and love?

More Dangerous Off the Field
Pairing: Bucky Barnes x Reader (Avengers Doctor!Reader) SFW
Genre: Soft Slow-Burn, Flirting, Tension, Emotional Recovery, Hints of Romance
Summary: Being assigned to monitor Bucky Barnes’ recovery wasn’t supposed to affect you. But then again… you hadn’t seen the way he reattaches his arm.
Tumblr media
Working with the Winter Soldier was supposed to be a career-defining moment.
You were the Avengers’ lead medical specialist—trusted to patch up wounds, assess injuries, and quietly observe from behind glass. You never expected to be placed on personal watch. But when James Buchanan Barnes was brought in, recovering from Hydra’s grip and his fractured past, everything changed.
It had been about a month now. You were tracking both his physical recovery and psychological stability, reporting closely to Steve and Natasha, and checking in daily. He was doing well—faster than expected. But there were still moments where his stare lingered too long on shadows, where his reactions flinched too sharply.
That’s why you were currently standing in your office above the training floor, watching him spar with Steve through the reinforced window.
He was fighting without his metal arm today—at your request.
You needed to see how he coped without it. Whether the muscle memory of the Winter Soldier kicked in… or if he was just a man defending himself. So far, he was holding his own. You made a note of it, fingers tapping at your tablet.
The match ended with Steve giving him a pat on the back. Bucky gave a breathless nod, walking over to the bench where his arm rested.
And then he did it.
In one fluid, practiced motion, Bucky grabbed the prosthetic by the bicep, swung it smoothly around his back, and locked it into place on his shoulder with a solid click.
Your knees went a little weak.
You had no business reacting like that, but the grace, the confidence in the motion—it did something. You swallowed thickly, heart skipping as you shifted your weight.
“You good, Doc?”
A voice behind you. You jumped.
Natasha stood leaning against your office doorway, arms crossed and smirking knowingly.
“I’m fine,” you said a little too fast, “I’m fine”
Nat’s eyes glinted. “Uh huh.” She looked through the glass toward the gym. “Might want to sit down next time. Just in case he really turns on the charm.”
You blinked at her, mouth slightly open.
With a teasing wink, she turned and walked away, leaving you pink-faced and flustered.
You looked back down to the gym—just in time to see Bucky glancing up at your window.
He caught your gaze and offered a little wave before toweling off and heading for the water dispenser.
You sighed and sank into your chair, rubbing your temples. Five minutes. That’s how long you had before he came upstairs for his post-session evaluation.
Spinning slowly in your chair, you pulled up his file and glanced at his photo.
You are a professional. You are not allowed to be affected by sharp jaws or broad shoulders or perfect goddamn eye contact.
Another sigh. You opened a new report and began typing your observations, noting stamina, coordination, emotional stability, restraint.
Just as you hit “Save,” a knock echoed on the door.
Right on schedule.
“Hey, Doc,” Bucky greeted as he stepped inside like he owned the place. He perched on the edge of your desk without waiting for permission, towel still around his neck, his dark hair damp with sweat.
“So,” he said, plucking a stress ball off your desk and giving it a squeeze, “I heard I’m more dangerous off the field than on it.”
You froze, blinking at your screen.
Your gaze flickered to him—only for a second—before returning to the monitor.
“And whom have you heard this from, Mr. Barnes?” you asked evenly.
He shrugged, still fiddling with the stress ball like it didn’t look like he was flexing on purpose. “Y’know. Words go around. Some redheads whisper things. And apparently… someone’s been a little distracted by my moves.”
Your brow arched. “Mr. Barnes, I’m concerned about your recovery, not your choreography. I should hope you understand I am strictly professional. Everything I do is for your health and safety.”
You stood, grabbing a stack of papers and aligning them neatly with a few taps on the desk before stapling them. A nice distraction.
But when you looked up, he was still staring at you with that maddeningly soft, amused expression.
“You sure you’re not secretly impressed, Doc?” he asked with a lazy smirk.
Your cheeks warmed. You turned quickly, walking over to the file cabinet.
“I see you’ve been making steady progress,” you said curtly, filing away the report. “Although I may have to keep you under observation longer if you keep imagining things. Hallucinations are rarely a sign of good mental health.”
You shut the drawer firmly and walked past him toward the door, trying to keep your voice level.
“Please excuse me, Mr. Barnes. I need caffeine.”
Coffee in hand, you returned ten minutes later, still trying to shake off the heat in your face. You pushed open your office door, half-prepping your next report in your head—until something shifted in the corner of your eye.
You flinched.
“Jesus Christ, Buck— Mr. Barnes,” you gasped, hand over your chest. “I thought you’d left. What are you still doing here?”
He didn’t turn. Still facing your wall calendar.
“Hey Doc,” he said casually, “you’re free Tuesday night, right?”
You raised a brow, stepping around him to place your coffee on your desk. “Why do you ask?”
He looked over his shoulder at you, and there it was again—that smile. Soft. Sweet. Completely unfair.
“I’ve got tickets to a new exhibition,” he said. “But I’m gonna look real lonely if I don’t have a date.”
You rolled your eyes and scoffed. “This isn’t the 1940s, Mr. Barnes. People go alone all the time.”
He spun around and walked toward you with quiet determination, like a man on a mission.
Before you could say a word, he gently—so gently—lifted your chin with his fingertips. His touch was barely there, but it was enough to stop time.
“One night,” he murmured. “I promise it’ll be worth it. I’ll make it worth your time.”
Your breath caught. You stared at him, trying to muster some kind of resistance. Anything.
But your heart was already pounding in your ears.
You cleared your throat and stepped away, brushing invisible lint off your sleeve.
“I suppose it wouldn’t hurt,” you said, focusing very intently on your coffee cup. “I’ll be attending for medical purposes, of course.”
You walked briskly back behind your desk. “If that’s all, Mr. Barnes, you may leave. I’m quite busy.”
He chuckled lowly, clearly enjoying himself. He made it to the door, hand on the handle, then glanced back with a grin that could only be described as smug.
“I’ll pick you up at 6:30.”
Then he slipped out, the door clicking shut behind him.
You sat in stunned silence.
And then leaned back slowly in your chair, hands over your face as your heart thudded against your ribs.
What have I gotten myself into?

metamy is insane. like.
what if i was the hero you loved gone wrong. defeated and destroyed. rebuilt as my own greatest enemy. what if i lost everything. what if i had been reprogrammed to despise all i had once fought for. what if i couldn't even remember why i had fought at all.
and what if you were made of roses. what if you represented every beautiful thing i once died trying to protect. what if you wore flowers in your hair and cared for small creatures and had eyes the color of the forests i used to call my home. what if you were everything i once loved.
those memories are just out of my reach. infuriatingly. maddeningly. but if anyone knows who i am (who i used to be) it's you. if anyone can make me feel like who i used to be (who i really am) it's you. i can't speak, i can't breathe, i can't remember anything (but you).
you are the world i have been ordered to burn. i am the weapon you have chosen to resist. i was (am) the hero that you loved.
you are my only memory.
#sonic#metamy#metal sonic#amy rose#like. the motifs man. the robot falls in love with rose.#he fought and died to protect nature. her name is AMY ROSE.#he fought and died to protect nature and HE WAS CONVERTED INTO A METAL WEAPON. used against his OWN DREAM.#you are a weapon against yourself. what do you remember? i remember her (i remember failing her)#he's cold. Few things bother me more than fic writers infantilizing Carter. Like, did we watch the same show? This is a man who had no problem calling out injustices and told off his coworkers, superiors, and even his own family when it was warranted. He’s not sitting here crying cause someone yelled at him.
