dark!percy`s unhinged way of flirting sometimes is to take the moisture out of the air, making it hard for you to breathe, staring intensely at you with a smirk and saying "damn, seems like i took your breath away" 💀💀💀 SORRY IF IT`S TOO MUCH IT WAS SO STUPIDLY COMICAL IN MY HEAD

and his eyes glow when he does it, and no not in a cliche corny way you see in movies but,

Percy's eyes shone with a silvery light as he reached out with his hand, directing the water around him to mold itself to his will. The waves crashed onto the shore, crashing over the rocks with a deafening roar as they parted to accommodate the his powers. As the water raged around him, the Percy's eyes continued to glimmer brightly, illuminating his face in a ghostly light. A powerful aura emanated from him, commanding the water to do his bidding as his power flowed seamlessly through him and the water itself.

So, as I said recently I want to do some tests trying different things, so here’s a little comic from the chapter ‘I settle my tab’ from Percy Jackson and The Lightning Thief ⚡️

Percy is simply iconic in every one of his lines and I wanted to try to play with a Percy who was still at the beginning of his journey.

Furthermore, I admit that I LOVE playing with the character design of the characters following their descriptions in the books, and Poseidon is no exception! Trying to represent the aspects that Rick Riordan highlights, such as his mysterious and indecipherable side or his fisherman-in-Hawaiian-dress look, is just too much fun. :D

I’m considering whether to also post some of my sketchbook pages, because I want to share with you part of the creative process behind the way I represent the characters, which I personally find the most fun and creative part behind every illustration or drawing I work on.

Maybe it’s the fact you said Percy had African origins and she got mad ?

honestly the comment definitely gave me racist vibes because it's just not normal to get so pressed about an author describing their character as "tan/brown", and then to get angry about "inconsistent" fanarts made by different artists because they made percy look, in their opinion, black 💀💀💀
