I've been fighting this for a long time, but I've reached the point of being completely underwater. I've been kinda off Tumblr for awhile, trying to survive all the bullshit that keeps getting thrown at me but it's crashing hard.

If you can help safely, I would be eternally grateful. If you can't, that's completely okay too <3

Personal update: The surgery went better than expected. The internal bleeding weren't at all as bad as they had feared (the x-rays was a bit fucked up so thry were kind of going in dark) and the infection was minimal. They mostly iust cleaned me up a bit on the inside.

(the doctor talked with me at length afterwards about what they did but he was using doctor jargon I didnt understand and clown music started playing in my brain. But my feeble brain could understand “it went well”)

So im already on my feet, although a bit wobbly for a week or two. I might actually make it to the EC release after all. I need my Slaaneshi boyfriends.

Words cannot express how much I like this fic. It has a strong Luke (physical AND mental, second hard to find on fics) kind, naive, faulty with a pinch of assholery. Ethereal but human. Invested in being a jedi. All the 3d package. So unique. Singlehandedly restoring my waning dinluke interest. And it's also slowburn. Din's introspections are very fun and I like that's he's kind of standoffish before warming up. Grogu is IMPORTANT. I'm so. So. Grateful this exists. I thank the day this author was born. I'm rambling.

unironically one of the biggest selling points about hdg for me is that im 100% certain that if i told an affini that i see myself as an alien stuck in a human body not only would they do their very best to make my body look the way it should, they would also try and help me find a planet that matches what i think of when i imagine where i should be from

went to the medispa yesterday for a facial and massage, had a new beauty therapist who was amazing and used a machine to suck all the gunk out of my pores (mine are large and prone to clogging but a lot of the time beauty therapists are too “nice” and are like oh no your skin is fine! so i’ve never had it done before). maybe i shouldn’t be surprised but i’m shocked at how much better my skin looks with my pores completely cleared out. i keep finding reasons to go look in the mirror and marvel at how utterly clean and fresh i look. moral of the story when you finally find a beauty therapist who is willing to be real with you and do what it takes, hold onto her! also finally purchased a dry body brush and i’m so mad at myself for not starting this habit 10 years ago when i first heard of it because wow oh wow it makes the skin so super soft and helps so much with all the fluid retention i get in my ankles…
