Welcome to Season 3 episode 2 of the PiCast! We were in Hawaii last week so there was no episode but hopefully going forward we will get back on our weekly schedule! We finally got out to see Black Panther and sat down after to talk about the movie and the previews and the rest of our Saturday! We hope you enjoy!
What did you think of the movie? Please contact us and tell us your thoughts.
Are you going to Wondercon? We’d love to see you there!
It’s March 14th which means it’s Pi and thus pie day! So we made a pie and I made an Appletun cosplay for the day 🧃❤️ . I’m excited I got to use that hat it’s been sitting around in our cosplay stuff for years for an old costume that it didn’t fit correctly. . I want to try and tweak Appletun some but for a closet outfit it’s not bad. I’d love to make a purse or backpack in the future that’s the crust though ❤️ Just piling on the cosplay dreams don’t mind me 😂 . #piday #pieday #pokemoncosplay #pokemon #appletun #appletuncosplay #appletungijinka #appletungijinkacosplay #pokemonswordandshieldcosplay #crochet #crochetcosplay #yarnwig #crochetwig https://www.instagram.com/p/B9uu0-qHg7k/?igshid=1le42njsfqu77

Sorry this episode is a little late but *spoiler alert* we have a new baby in the house. If you have been following our story, you know that we have been waiting for a long time for that to happen. This episode is not about the new baby. Stay tuned for that by Christmas. And speaking of Christmas, this episode is about Christmas lights (and a bunch of other stuff).
So we talk about the lights on our house and the local neighborhoods with great displays to go see. Speaking of neighborhoods, we hope yours was not impacted by the intense wildfires in Southern California this week. We mention our friends Monica and Chris from the Nerd Fails Podcast who are coming over to record a joint episode soon! And Speaking of podcasts, we mention Scott’s mention on the Geek Stuff podcast, complete with sound bite, and our upcoming Star Wars give away! Check out our IG for details!
So if you have anything to add on any of these topics, we want to hear from you!
We love Crazy Ex Girlfriend! Obviously we have a great love of musical theater. The show is so funny and the songs are great! We discuss the first two season of the show and pretty much tell you how much we like all the songs. Also, Brittany sings a lot (and Scott too).
Did you watch the show tonight? Please tell us what you think about it as well as your favorite songs, characters, and episode!
On this week’s PiCast we have a panel discussion about Gilmore Girls. Scott moderates a panel of Brittany’s cousins and friends. Most of the girls love Gilmore Girls and have watched the series multiple times, then there’s Brittany.
We do a Q&A with special guests, Ashley, Lauren, Michi and Shana. We talk favorite townies, favorite moments and A Year in the Life. Don’t miss out on the FMK segment at the end!
Did you watch Gilmore Girls and A Year in the life? What show should we tackle next? Do you want to be on an upcoming episode of the PiCast? We want to know! Get in touch with us!
Scott and Brittany talk about WonderCon 2017 in Anaheim. We cut back this con from 2 days to 1 and we ran into all sorts of new Con stressors, like parking and not having enough floor time. We talk about volunteering at the WhedonCon booth with Camden Toy and Scott’s participation in the closing show of Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog. Scott cosplayed Saturday and Sunday as Dr. Horrible and people assumed Brittany was cosplaying Penny but she was just in her normal clothes.
We ran into lots of friends outside by the fountain, and actor Josh Sussman, plus we’re very happy the Con was back in Anaheim! If you’re looking for other events in your area and want to meet other nerds check out the nerdout app for more nerdy fun!
If you’re going to be in the LA area May 19-21 and like Joss Whedon properties, come to WhedonCon! http://www.whedoncon.com/
