First of all, thank you for being you and for making good art. I am a huge fan.
I loved the recent photos of the stars you shared on your page! Was that what you were able to see with the naked eye as well? Were the photos taken in a spot with very little light pollution to get that level of clarity, or did the camera enhance the stars?
It's more than the naked eye could see. But there's no light pollution where I am right now, so you can walk outside and look up at the milky way.
What I see is this:
What the camera sees in a four minute exposure is this:
Tonight it was cloudy, and I thought there wouldn't be much chance of getting anything, and I was surprised when I discovered that the clouds were moving enough that the camera, taking a 4 minute long exposure, was able to find the stars. Here's a tiny film of a few seconds of what the camera saw...
Tumblr is absolute bull💩. I did a search for 2/100 and this is what it gave me:
That's bull💩. I have at least two posts containing "2/100". Searches for "1/100" and "3/100" work just fine but it's telling me it can't find any posts with "2/100"??? That's complete bull💩. Except 💩 with a 🤬 face.
So, short of scrolling endlessly to the bottom of my blog to find "2/100", I guess I'll skip to "3/100" and come back to "2/100" some other time (or when I'm on desktop instead of my phone).
Alright. Continuing on with my revisiting old blog posts, here's my 3/100 from about 9 months ago.
Two things:
I hadn't yet fixed the leaky kitchen sink. I remember I was procrastinating so badly on this because it seemed overwhelming. I didn't know how to even begin to fix it. But you know what? YouTube Universe pulled through and taught me what I needed to know and now under the kitchen sink is dry and perfect!
"More laundry, more groceries, more supper..." Some things don't change. Welcome to adulthood.
Next.
So this is when I got my new phone! The phone with which I'm writing this blog post right at this very moment! Google Pixel 6 Pro. It's cute how excited I was about it 😊 9-ish months later and I'm still really pleased with it. Would recommend.
Ok, so that's that blog post revisited and processed. Going to chuck it out now.
