Suddenly, something happens and… and… and…

At first, a dark spot, a melancholy, and eventually a weight is formed.

Opposed to this “melancholy”, in a period, there were colorful jelly candies and chewing gums.

But rather an organized mess,

Melancholy is multiplied and color, still

there was pain, there was color.

Always, being distant or staying away, like to parallel lines searching for contact.

The “Playmobils”, my favorite toys,

Are a symbol of power, because at all instances, they smile.

Deep? Or plastic? Unseen scars behind this smile and rounded eyes.

Identifying with superheroes like Superman, Batman and…

The language changes and Super-Rostam becomes a mix of the Western and Eastern me.

Each of them have a common point called pain,

Being “yourself” with toil, created an elixir from this pain like hope.

Life, like a video cassette,

Was destroyed by the anti-hero in the conflict of satire and drama.

This cassette, with its deformed images,

Was my “life”—still circulating, still going on…

And a deep smile, was an effort to pass, like the heroes of my life.

I’m still thinking about how Playmobil: the Movie was a perfect Westernization of an Isekai film. 

A girl is transported to another realm where she learns about herself and the people of the realm through an animated adventure, there’s no forced heterosexual subplot, there’s a wide array of colorful and fantastical characters, her sole mission is to rescue her brother, she bonds with her brother throughout the journey, and in the end the magical journey not only helps her to grow but also improves the world--not because she’s a magical Chosen One, but because she does what she can to help everyone around her.

Bottom line: when that movie hits digital or Netflix, watch it. Please. 

It’s really fun.

1. my parents had me, my brother and sister later in life and since my mum’s sister is older and married and had kids earlier, i have cousins in their 40s

2. first concert i remember going to was probs the Summer Ball in 2008; first main act i saw live was McFly in 2012

3. i used to binge read the Horrible series and The Knowledge series when i was younger because i guess it was easier to pick up cool facts about rocks and history and stuff

4. i kept mistaking St. Pancras Station for St. Pancreas Station was a child and was weirdly insistent about it to my dad despite him using that station for god knows how long to get to work
