Circe's Notes: Hello loves I'm back! Following the New Year, I decided it would be fun to make a solar return observation to kickstart 2025 (even though I am 12 days late but that's besides the point). Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this post as much as I did creating it!

✿ I'm experiencing Pluto in 1st house this year in my SR chart and lemme tell you the observations about Pluto in 1st house is sooo true. I've experienced a drastic change in appearance and so many uncalled for comments about my body and look in general. But I also have moon in 1st this year so majority of the comments were made by women (mostly older woman). Also I experienced a major shift in mindset or outlook in life.

Your 11th house in your solar return chart can show the signs you attract in friendships that year. I have scorpio in my 11th house this year and one of my friends is a scorpio venus and the other one is a scorpio moon.

Last year I have my 11th house in Leo and I had two other friends with their venus in Leo and the other with Leo moon.

When I had my 11th house in Cancer, my roommate was a cancer stellium and my other friend in college was a cancer sun.

Same thing again, when I had taurus in my 11th house, my only friend in college was a taurus sun and mercury😭.

Having 5th and 7th house placements that year can indicate being in a relationship and actively going on dates together.

However, having only 5th house placements that year can indicate going to many dates and not taking relationships too seriously. Prone to having more flings instead of being committed.

Uranus, chiron, or Pluto in 5th or 7th can indicate a break-up in SR.

Uranus = change in relationship status so it's 50/50. If you're currently single you could enter a relationship. If you're taken it could mean breaking up with a current partner. It can also indicate a change in your partnership dynamic.

Pluto = transformations so similar case to Uranus.

you probably grew up feeling like you had to be “on guard” all the time. even if you didn’t show it on the outside, deep down, you didn’t feel safe being fully open. maybe you had to grow up fast, or you went through stuff that made you feel like you couldn’t trust people easily–like being judged, controlled, or constantly misunderstood. because of that, you developed a strong outer shell. people might say you seem intense, guarded, or like there’s something powerful about you, even if you’re quiet. you might not try to be intimidating, but others can sense that you've been through a lot. your fear is usually about being exposed or vulnerable–like if people really saw the real you, they might use it against you, so you keep control of how you’re seen. you might have this deep need to protect your image or your energy. sometimes you try to stay ahead by reading people before they can read you, or by keeping people at a distance emotionally. but what you really want is to feel safe just existing as you are, without having to constantly defend yourself. healing comes when you realize that you don’t have to always be in survival mode. not everyone is out to control or challenge you. the more you soften that fear of being powerless, the more confident and magnetic you naturally become.

Reasons Why Water House Synastry Is Karmic and Intense:

In this post, I want to address some reasons why water house (4th, 8th, and 12th) synastry can be very intense, very transformational and why it creates/increases codependency.

(the basis of this thread is the fact that there is attraction and desire within the romantic connection, and the depth of feeling will run more true if you share multiple other intense synastry aspects/past life connections. This post focuses exclusively on a 12th house relationship between two kind and evolved individuals. While there are other darker themes associated with 12th house synastry — such as deception, substance abuse, hidden affairs (like being the other woman or mistress), lies about one partner’s true nature, or fear that one partner is withholding information or their true self — I won’t be discussing those here. This aspect can be tempered down with Saturn aspects or a lot of earth energy in the chart.

♦️Venus square mars aspect: can often be mean to the person they like, classic "if he pulled your hair it's because he likes you" stuff. Can be very passionate, might have difficulty to separate feelings from lust. They might have talent for artistic sports like dancing or ice skating. For women, they might like a more sporty fashion style.

♦️Sun-saturn aspects: especially for harsh ones, this can really change the expression of the sun sign. I know someone with sun and several planets in Leo, but they are all square to Saturn and you could never tell she's a Leo; she is very reserved, shy and restrained in life. But as with all Saturn aspects this can change with age, the personality coming through more and more while keeping an amazing sense of discipline, wisdom and grounding.

♦️Moon-uranus aspects: with harsh aspects (conjunction, square, opposition), the mother might have been emotionally cold during the childhood, and she might have been a bit erratic and unpredictable. This could have showed up as frequently moving places, or having a mother considered weird or crazy by society. With soft aspects like trine or sextile this could show up as an untraditional family, maybe having two fathers or two mothers, or parents very into technology, but this was not hard on the person and it helped them develop their individuality and independence.

♦️ Aries moon/mars placements and their road rage! Both my parents have these placements and my god the number of stressful rides to school I had when I was a child 😂 this can also apply to the other fire mars.

♦️ Lilith conjunct ascendant: these people often provoke reactions everywhere they go, they rarely go unnoticed whether it is positive reactions or negative. The women with this aspect might get sexualised a lot, and the men with this aspect might attract animosity from other men. ♦️ Sun-jupiter and moon-jupiter aspects: they might always see the bright side of things, "it will get better", "this is temporary", seeing the glass half-full. A lot of optimism, faith in a higher meaning, maybe too optimistic sometimes and too trusting that things will unfold in the right way.

solar return observations because mine is nearly over

sagittarius rising -> huge travel placement!! also trying so so so many new things. personally, i went to the other side of the world for a month alone, and had to try things for the first time, some really simple and some really complex.

pluto in 2nd house -> being careful with money, restricting yourself or coming into lots of it. personally, i had to be extremely careful with money for a long and hard 3 months, but then i gained a lot, and could spend it as and when i pleased.

saturn in 3rd -> leaning towards restriction of communication, or cracking down and working hard academically. personally, i worked so incredibly hard for my a levels this year, i didn't socialise or do anything fun for 1-2 months. i just wrote and wrote the same knowledge and essays over and over (and got 2A*s lol). i also have been struggling to communicate this year, i hardly spoke to my friends for a variety of reasons.

mars in 3rd -> strong and almost 'all powerful' ambition academically.

4th house stellium -> hugeeee focus on family, maybe separation anxiety? whatever the scenario for you, they are 100% the main focus for at least a good portion of the year. could spend a lot of time with them, could have a lot of news from them and for them.

8th house moon -> emotions felt constantly changing. they feel like waves, how i felt constantly came and went, and i very much just had to ride the wave out. i've had a huge focus on healing this year, and am better than how i was a year ago. i haven't noticed how emotionally better i am, it felt like equal ups and downs but i suppose the improvement has always been greater than the set backs.
