I really like your art and style, especially your anatomy sketches. Do you have any tips for beginner artists?
Hi! I’m so happy to know that you like my art and I’m super happy to know that you’re starting your own journey with art! Drawing is something that brings me so much joy and I hope it can do the same to you!
The biggest advice that I can give to you is: HAVE FUN
Draw for yourself, draw what you love, make things that YOU want to make, be as self indulgent as you can be. Doesn’t matter if it seems weird or cringe, forget what other people might say or think about it, just follow your heart! And draw as often as you can!
Doing that sometimes is easier said than done though, so make it easy for you to just pick up a pen and put it to paper whenever. One thing that helps me with that is to have a separate sketchbook, maybe it’s a smaller and cheaper one, that I have by my desk at all times. That way it’s easy for me to pick it up and doodle whenever I feel like it.
Maybe it’s while I watch a YouTube video, maybe it’s while I’m waiting for something, maybe it’s after I saw some cool art that made me want to sketch something. Doesn’t matter, what matters is that I’m moving my hand and sketching something. And you can do the same digitally, you can sketch and doodle a bunch of things and save it in a folder named “August Water Bill” for all I care, if it makes you feel safe to explore without fearing what other people are gonna think than that’s good!
At the beginning you have no idea what you’re doing, so a good thing to do is to copy things that you like! We learn by doing & we learn by copying! You can even get some art that you really like and trace it to practice (of course don’t post that online, but you can learn from it and you can build some muscle memory).
It’s also great to draw things from life as often as you can! People, places, objects, anything that you find interesting. Photos are great and there’s a huge variety of things that you can find online but there’s a lot of value in interpreting the world around you and putting that to paper, you can learn so much from it.
Getting good at art is something that takes a long time and honestly, being a “good artist” can mean multiple things and is up to interpretation, but the time will pass anyways. It’s worth spending that time creating something and falling in love with the process of making things. It will be hard and it will be frustrating at times, but if you keep at it you will inevitably make something that you’re proud of. You’ll make many things that you’re proud of, and you’ll make things that will touch other people in ways that you won’t ever comprehend, so it’s worth all the trouble.
I’ll end this with listing some useful resources. Feel free to send an Ask or DM me anytime if you have follow up questions or specific things that you want to know! I’ll do my best to help!
Draw a box – Great for beginners, introduces the fundamentals, they have a website and a YouTube channel
Proko has a lot of free videos on YouTube
Morpho anatomy books by Michel Lauricella, you can buy them but if you don’t have the means to do so right now it’s not hard to find places to download it
Line of Action, AdorkaStock, Jookpubstok and the Joshua Jacobo YouTube channel are all great for figure drawing, and honestly? Just searching for images of specific sports and activities is also great, there’s lots of great sports photos out there
Of course Pinterest is always there, just careful with AI generated images
These 3 websites are great for finding references of specific angles of the human body, faces and animal’s heads
This is specifically a Brazilian creator, but if you or anyone else reading this speaks Portuguese SulaMoon is great, she’s always sharing resources and answering questions in live streams. She streams on Twitch and posts vods and highlights on YouTube
Similarly, Aaron Blaise is often live streaming EVERYWHERE and answering art questions, he also has lots of courses that often end up on sale for like $1

Hi, Kia, how are you? :D Hope you are fine
So, guess I told you once that English isn't my first language. But lately, I'm studying how to improve my writing and I don't know where I can find out about verba dicendi. I noticed the way people write dialogues in fiction is slightly different from the Brazilian Portuguese style. Then I come here for asking your help, if it's not a problem for you, of course.
Thank you for your attention!
Ah, of course!
So, one of the biggest rules in writing dialogue in English (that I've noticed quite a lot of people online don't use) is that a new paragraph should begin every time someone new begins talking. It's simply a grammatical rule but it also helps to break up your text so that it's not too daunting for the reader. Just a quick example:
"Do you want to get some coffee?" Person A asked, glancing over at the café.
"Sure, why not?" Person B replied.
Another rule (I'm unaware of whether or not this applies to Brazilian Portuguese as I know it doesn't apply to all languages) is that speech marks must only contain speech and must always open AND close around speech. When dialogue begins, speech marks are used. When dialogue ends or action interrupts, speech marks are used.
"I'm almost there now." Person A said, turning the corner.
A comma should be used before opening dialogue too - not when the dialogue is at the very beginning of the paragraph but when there's description beforehand.
Person B opened their phone, "Oh, a tumblr ask!"
Those are the first key rules that come to mind but feel free to ask anything else should you need :)

studylog 1
Hey! Welcome to my first studylog of my first blog here at tumblr!
Some things I want to point out before starting: I'm Brazilian, so I speak Portuguese and English around here! I want to apologize if I have any grammatical errors, because my English is basic and some things I will need to use google translator! other than that, to my brazilian friends who want to follow me feel free! I will post in Portuguese too!
Also, I'm archival scientist, I study archives and history, so if you have any questions about my course or anything about related to what I post here, feel free to ask me! I'll let anonymous questions to everyone!
so, let's start!
Today it's July, 06 of 2023
I've had one class only today, que foi sobre história, which was about history, we had to read a book a few weeks before about documents and history, in fact, reading the book was very interesting, I learned a lot from it, I will certainly use it in future dissertations that I need to do.
I still have to answer a questionnaire about electronic documentation that day, I'll do it right after going to the gym.
I have to review the previous history classes because next week I have a test to take (in online format) I'm going to take this test together with my classmates, but I want to be prepared for next week, so I'm going to start looking if my notes are up to date.

I'm more productive with my side studies in the weekends, apparently. Since the last post, three days ago, I wasn't feeling particularly excited to listen to French podcasts or the courses classes, but this Sunday I'll ro better and get ready for comeback to school.
Day 6: Are there any free online sources you use to learn languages? Please share<3
Unfortunately, apart from Spotify podcasts, no. When I have so spare time, I'll level up my learning!
Day 7: Which language do you think is easier to learn: your native language or the foreign language you are learning?
Both languages conjugate verbs and have their particularities, plus, I don't know the whole of French, their idioms and such yet to have a precise conclusion, but for now, I'd say my native language (Portuguese) is easier.
Day 8: If you can speak English, where and how did you learn it?
I learnt it with a six-year course on a languages school.

3 myths about language learning busted.
Hi There,
Still got Portuguese learning on your mind?
Here’s another chance to test out the award-winning Rocket Portuguese courses for yourself.
That's right. You can test-drive a trial version of Rocket Portuguese for FREE.
Just click the link below:
All you have to do is enter your name and email address—no credit card details required! Then you'll be well on your way to mastering a new language. You've got nothing to lose.
So, what's so great about Rocket Portuguese?
First, let’s look at the biggest myths of language learning.
Myth #1: It's impossible to learn a language fast.
That’s true. For most mere mortals, it's simply not possible to achieve native-level fluency in a few weeks or months.
However, with Rocket Portuguese, you CAN achieve conversational fluency.
Conversational fluency is the ability to communicate in the real world. You can have conversations, ask and answer questions, offer and receive help, and even crack a few jokes every now and then—all in Portuguese!
When you have conversational fluency, your vocabulary might be small, but you know enough to communicate effectively.
Myth #2: It's much easier to learn a language as a child.
This is called the Critical Period Hypothesis: During childhood, your brain is open to absorbing linguistic information. If you don't learn a second language as a child, your wiring shuts off, and you're out of luck.
Well, in the last 50 years, scientists have poked big holes in that theory. These days, a number of studies prove that adults can actually learn FASTER than children!
Think about it. Adults know much more about the world. They understand that languages work according to certain “rules.” And they can put new information into context. These skills develop over time—children just don't get that stuff!
Rocket Portuguese is specially tailored for adult learners.
Myth #3: The best way to learn a language is to immerse yourself in a foreign culture.
Immersion is a very trendy concept when it comes to language learning, but you don't need to leave the country to surround yourself with Portuguese. In fact, total in-country immersion has serious drawbacks, like not being able to get proper feedback.
These days, there are plenty of ways to simulate immersion while receiving crucial feedback and support. We live in a digital age where endless resources are a single click away.
Rocket Portuguese has all the native Portuguese audio you need, coupled with plain English instruction and honest, accurate feedback.
Here's what another happy learner had to say about Rocket Languages courses:
"I always wanted to learn Spanish. I have many occasions each year that I need to communicate with Spanish customers. I learned about Rocket Spanish on YouTube and signed up for the 6-day free trial. After four lessons, I was so impressed with my learning curve I signed up. Now I am on my way!"

Comprehensive Guide: Obtaining a Portugal Visa for Indian Citizens
Understanding the Process
Let’s comprehend the significance of obtaining a Portugal visa for Indian citizens. Whether it's for tourism, business, or other purposes, navigating through the visa application process can seem daunting. However, with the right guidance, it can be streamlined and hassle-free.
Types of Visas Available
Tourist Visa
For Indian citizens planning a trip to Portugal for leisure or vacation purposes, a tourist visa is required. This visa allows individuals to explore the rich cultural heritage, stunning landscapes, and vibrant cities of Portugal for a specified duration.
Business Visa
Individuals intending to visit Portugal for business-related activities such as attending conferences, meetings, or exploring potential business opportunities must apply for a business visa. This visa enables Indian entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals to engage in commercial activities in Portugal.
Student Visa
Indian students aspiring to pursue higher education in Portugal can apply for a student visa. This visa permits them to enroll in academic courses offered by recognized educational institutions in Portugal.
Work Visa
For Indian nationals seeking employment opportunities in Portugal, a work visa is essential. This visa allows individuals to legally work and reside in Portugal for the duration specified in the visa.
Steps to Obtain a Portugal Visa for Indian Citizens
Research and Preparation
Before initiating the visa application process, Indian citizens should conduct thorough research regarding the specific type of visa they require and the associated requirements. It is essential to gather all necessary documents, including passport, photographs, financial statements, travel itinerary, and proof of accommodation.
Online Application Submission
Most Portugal visa applications for Indian citizens can be completed online through the official website of the Portuguese consulate or embassy. Applicants need to fill out the online application form accurately, providing detailed information as required.
Document Verification and Appointment Booking
Once the online application is submitted, applicants are usually required to schedule an appointment at the respective consulate or embassy for document verification and biometric data collection. It is advisable to book the appointment well in advance to avoid any last-minute delays.
Attend Visa Interview (if required)
Depending on the type of visa and individual circumstances, Indian citizens may be required to attend a visa interview at the consulate or embassy. During the interview, applicants may be asked questions regarding their travel plans, purpose of visit, financial stability, and other relevant details.
Visa Processing and Approval
After completing the necessary formalities, the visa application undergoes processing by the consulate or embassy. The processing time varies depending on the type of visa and the volume of applications. Once approved, the visa is affixed to the applicant's passport, allowing them to travel to Portugal.
Additional Tips and Recommendations
Plan Ahead: It is advisable to start the visa application process well in advance of the planned travel date to account for any unforeseen delays.
Accuracy and Completeness: Ensure that all information provided in the visa application is accurate and complete to avoid any complications or rejections.
Consult Experts: If unsure about any aspect of the visa application process, seek guidance from experienced professionals or visa consultants who can provide assistance and advice.
Follow Guidelines: Adhere to the guidelines and instructions provided by the consulate or embassy throughout the visa application process to enhance the chances of approval.
Stay Informed: Keep abreast of any updates or changes in visa policies, requirements, and procedures to avoid any last-minute surprises.
Conclusion: Simplifying the Visa Journey
Obtaining a Portugal visa for Indian citizens may seem daunting at first, but with proper guidance and preparation, it can be a smooth and straightforward process. By following the steps outlined in this comprehensive guide, Indian travelers can embark on their journey to Portugal with confidence and ease.

We’re celebrating this leap year day with one of the most impressive and terrifying leaps in eventing – the leap of faith that is the Leaf Pit at Burghley. It’s one of those cross country fences that looks hella fun when I’m safely settled on my sofa enjoying the spectacle, but in real life – I’d want to be totally encased in around 24 layers of bubble wrap if I ever found myself looking down from the top of a horse up there, and for there to be a giant and generously-filled kids’ ball pit at the bottom, (also, ideally my mount would be more hobby horse than 5* fit eventer).
However you spend your bonus day, go eventing!

For one day only – free registration for Equine Guelph’s online Introduction to Body Condition Scoring course. Learn how to assess your horse’s weight using the Henneke body condition scoring system and gain the tools you need to create an action plan based on the score. The course content is self-paced, around 15-20 hours and you get access for a full year. To benefit from the free registration offer, you need to sign up tomorrow (Friday March 1st).
As February draws to a close and we feel a sniff of spring in the air, Badminton approaches. Fences and camera crews and sponsors and tradestands and entries… it’s all going on at Badminton – read all about it in this month’s Director’s Blog.
Mistakes happen, of course they do – it’s what you do with them that counts. Rather than being embarrassed when we mess up, and going all defensive and blaming whoever and whatever is at hand, if we see our mistakes as opportunities, we’re more likely to grow from what went down rather than being weighed down by our whoopsie. Here’s some handy techniques for reaping the benefits that making mistakes can bring us.
Our choice of tack, and how we fit it, can be mighty controversial – there are so many opinions in the equestrian world. So it’s a good thing when actual scientific research is undertaken into the effect of tack on horse welfare, like this paper on nosebands and the increased stress levels horses display when they are fitted tightly, so much so that the report concludes: “On ethical grounds, the use of relentless pressure to eliminate oral behaviors in pursuit of a competitive advantage may be difficult to justify”.
Becoming unconsciously uncoupled from your horse is something we riders have to take on the chin from time to time – but when you’re analyzing it with your trainer or explaining your lame limp in the office, how do you phrase the fact that your horse basically dumped you? For all you horse/word geeks out there, here’s an interesting list of ways to describe hitting the deck. As an aside, I am in fact one of those ‘once in a blue moon’ riders who’ve come straight off the back of the horse – I call it the ‘didn’t-duck-under-the-tree-branch-quick-enough’ kind of fall.
And finally, as a champion of horses, books and awesome women, I couldn’t resist sharing this image of the Pack Horse Librarians in Kentucky. Traversing creek beds called Hell-for-Sartin, Troublesome, and Cut Shin, these tough gals took to horseback to deliver books and magazines to people who otherwise wouldn’t have access to reading materials. Let’s hear it for these inspirational horsewomen.
Video Break
A couple weeks ago I shared the story of Shariah Harris, who was trailblazing on the polo pitch as the first Black woman to play in the US Open Women’s Polo Championship. From a single-income household in inner-city Philadelphia, Shariah’s introduction to the sport began with a literal wrong turn – which led her directly to her destiny. When her mom accidentally took the wrong road, they came upon the Work to Ride site, a program which involves urban youth in equestrian sports, and the rest, as they say, is history. Which is what Shariah made as she took to the pitch recently in the US Open Women’s Polo Championship. About her role as trailblazer, she says, “The more exposure I attract the more others will see and follow, then I won’t be the only one anymore”. Check out Shariah’s story in today’s Video Break.

If you think platforms like Fiverr are only for graphic designers and coders, you couldn’t be more wrong. With freelancing, there are a variety of niches that you can start by learning on the go. Overall, there are very many opportunities that you can access without any real skill.
In this article, you will gain insight into the kind of gigs you can do on Fiverr without skills. That means you could start making extra money as soon as today.
What Is Fiverr?
Fiverr is a popular platform where freelancers can advertise their services to potential buyers. The platform started operating in 2010 and is headquartered in Tel Aviv-Yafo, Israel.
Fiverr is available in various languages, including English, Spanish, French, Dutch, Portuguese, Italian, and German. The platform offers freelancing jobs to its users globally, providing countless ways to make money online. It is available in over 160 countries, with over 3 million buyers using Fiverr annually.
How Does Fiverr Work?
Fiverr is set up like a marketplace where buyers and sellers meet to trade skills and services for money. You will get paid to offer your service to a buyer needing your time and talents.
There are two categories of people that you will find on the platform.
1.  Customers/buyers usually come to the site searching for services offered by freelancers online. They come looking for services they need to complete the tasks they have at hand. They also show how much they expect to pay users (aka, their budget).
2.  Sellers are the ones that put up their skills and services to sell to the world.
3.  These two types of people above make up the marketplace that is Fiverr.
If you are reading this article, you are likely a seller looking to connect with buyers and start making money.
How To Get Started as a Seller on Fiverr
I have listed the steps below that you should follow to start as a freelancer on Fiverr.
1. Create a New Fiverr Account
Of course, signing up (for free) is the first step. This will include basic information like your name and email address.
2. Set up a Seller Account
After setting up your account, it’s time to add all your personal details. You should include your experience, skills, and resume to attract potential buyers. (Don’t think you have any skills to earn extra income? Keep reading for Fiverr gig ideas.)
3. Create a New Gig
Once your account is set up, you can now create a gig (or offer) to sell on the platform with an account. Carefully consider the name of your gig so that clients clearly know what you are offering. It should be detailed to make it easy for buyers to find you.
You can check out some easy gigs with less competition that you can set up here.
4. Market Your Gig
Now, it’s time to get your gig in front of the right people and attract clients. You can market your gigs on your social media accounts. Some sellers also advertise their gigs on websites.
You can also look at Fiverr “job boards” and apply directly to a buyer looking for a specific gig. When you’re new, this is one of the best ways to build your portfolio. I remember applying for every job available. And it worked, allowing me to land my first two clients within 48 hours.
A well-crafted profile description can also increase your chances of getting customers- bringing them directly to you via Fiverr’s search algorithm. You should use bullet points and include the following:
• A short introduction that showcases your skills
• Encourage buyers to contact you
• A professional profile photo
• Past experience (get creative here if needed)
• Education relevant to your gig, if any
How Are Gigs on Fiverr Priced?
All Fiverr gigs follow the same pattern of pricing. The plans include basic, premium, and standard pricing plans.
You do not have to use all the plans. You can choose the options that work for you. Ultimately, you get to set your own prices. Initially, you might need to start lower than you’d like, but you can quickly grow once you establish yourself.
Does Fiverr Take a Cut?
Yes. Fiverr has a 20% fee for all your earnings per gig. Remember that this is the only fee you pay on the platform; the rest is yours.
Pros of Fiverr
Let’s look at all the advantages of using a platform like Fiverr.
1. Additional Cash
Working as a freelancer on this site gives you ways to earn extra cash. This money can be an addition to what you make on your day job in your spare time, or it can replace your day job entirely and allow you work-from-home full time.
The earnings on the site can be lucrative, making it one of the best-paying freelancing platforms you can find online.
2. Plenty of Work Opportunities
The beauty of Fiverr is the number of services you can sell. With the number of opportunities, it is virtually impossible for you not to find a job.
If it’s on Fiverr, someone is looking for it. And many options require no special skills to get started.
3. Low Fees
With Fiverr, you only incur one fee. This fee represents 20% of all the money you will make per job on the site. For example, if you complete a job and get paid $100, Fiverr will take $20.
This is a good system for many freelancers, keeping them from paying any upfront costs to be on a platform and preventing scams. They only pay a fee when they earn money.
4. User-friendly
The website is straightforward to use. When you log on to the site, you can easily get access to the section of sellers and select what service you want.
It is straightforward to navigate, and buyers hire sellers by using the search box to find what they want on the site. This means you can find potential clients within minutes.
5. Experience Is Optional
The platform is set up so that you can start working as a freelancer without a skill set. Fiverr has many jobs requiring no skills, such as proofreading, editing, software testing, etc.
This has attracted a lot of sellers to the platform looking to get their foot in the door.
6. Secure Communication Platform
The platform's interactive communication system facilitates secure conversations between buyers and sellers on Fiverr. Expectations are set from the beginning to ensure everyone is on the same page. The closed system also helps prevent scams (from both parties).
7. Large Customer Base
Few freelancing websites in the world can match the audience that Fiverr has. Thanks to its long-standing reputation, it has a lot of customers (almost 3 million) that come to buy services from them.
With this large number of customers, the potential for service providers on Fiverr to make money is high. The best way to start making money fast with Fiverr is to get started.
8. Fixed Prices (No Bidding)
Most freelancing sites let the buyers and sellers participate in a bidding war where the winner takes all. When you go to Fiverr, all services are sold at a specific price, depending on the service provider.
Fixed prices help to reduce the time wasted in bidding. Depending on your reviews and credentials, the buyer has to look at your services and decide whether they will purchase them from you or another freelancer. Thus, being a top-rated seller (or working to become a pro seller) is beneficial.
Cons of Fiverr
Like any platform, there are also some disadvantages.
1. Fourteen-day Payment Period
Payment typically take 14 days to allow time for processing and clearance of funds. While this won’t let you earn money fast, fourteen days is still reasonable; many other platforms (and employees) pay in 30 days or more.
2. Seller Competition
If you have visited the site, you know there are many sellers for each specific service you can find. There are over 10,000 services listed on particular jobs. This makes it a highly competitive site, and crucial that you find a way to set yourself apart.
3. Fiver Fees
The 20% Fiverr fee on all the money you make can feel steep. This is a pretty high fee and is charged on every job you have completed.
What To Sell on Fiverr if You Have No Skills?
When I had just joined the platform, I saw a lot of gigs that seemed easy but required formal training. With time, I realized that many of the gigs on this platform do not need skills. Instead, attention to detail is essential for keeping customers happy.
Let’s review some of the gigs you will find on Fiverr that do not require a specific skill set. Any of these are a great side hustle or have the potential to pay a full-time income.
1. Proofreading Text
Proofreading is one of the easiest gigs you will come across on Fiverr. With proofreading, all you have to do is go through written texts, such as blog articles, and make corrections.
Since the platform is accessible in many languages, proofreading can be done in your primary language (or any language you are proficient in). You'll love this gig opportunity if you have a keen eye for detail.
2. Online Surveys
This is another easy gig you will find on Fiverr. You must have participated in a survey at least once (which is everyone). Currently, online surveys can be a source of income for you. Ultimately, you can participate in a survey for a price.
All you have to know is how to answer questions and provide honest feedback regarding the products or services of interest. Platforms like Survey Junkie and Swagbucks are some of the best online survey sites you can join to get paid for sharing your opinions.
You can check out our in-depth review of Survey Junkie here.
3. Software Testing
Software testing involves testing out programs in their development stages. Whenever an app is developed, it is distributed to a few select individuals to test it out and see how it works for them.
In this case, you only need a mobile device to download the application and see how it works. With this gig, you only need to provide feedback regarding the program to earn your cash.
2. Writing Blog Comments
When you go online, you will find a lot of blogging sites. Bloggers upload articles on their sites and sometimes want comments for a higher ranking on Google.
Freelancers can use this opportunity to comment on blog posts and earn money. You just have to know how to write comments.
3. Language Translation
There are many languages that you will find on Fiverr. If you are using a mobile device, the assumption is that you are fluent in a common language. You can leverage your language skills to make some money by translating a variety of text (descriptions, blog articles, etc.).
You might also design a gig as a tutor if you are proficient in multiple languages.
4. Editing
.Most editing gigs on the site will require you to make adjustments or corrections where necessary. All you have to do is to know the language in the document is written, and you are good to go. An eye for detail will also help you be successful in the long run.
5. Social Media Management
In the digital age, social media has become very common worldwide. Social media accounts for the most significant portion of internet users.
Businesses and individuals alike use social media to reach out to their followers. You can manage their social media accounts for them. How often you will need to post content will be dependent on a client's need. All you need is a good internet connection to keep up with trends, and this gig will be favorable for you.
6. Social Media Services
A social media services gig is slightly different from the one above. Here, you use your social media accounts to advertise and promote products and services on behalf of the client. This means you can get paid for tweeting and posting the time you spend on social media,
Remember that social media marketing gigs work best for those with a large social media following and interaction metrics.
7. Web Research
You probably spend a lot of time on social media or Google researching interesting things. With this gig, you get to conduct research and compile your findings on behalf of your client.
When done, you forward the information to the client and get paid.
8. Design Stuff Using Canva
Canva is a platform to design anything with graphics online. With this platform, you can create anything from certificates to banners. For example, you could design a printable template and sell it to clients looking for a plug-and-play freebie for their website.
You can find templates for you. Plus, it is free to use. You can sign up for a free Canva account here. If you have an eye for design, you can get started with clients with Canva.
9. Content Creation
A client might need many types of content, from writing to video. As a freelance writer, you will help write blog posts for a client’s niche. You can also create videos that communicate specific messages on behalf of your client.
You can check out paid online writing jobs for more ways to make money writing and blogging,
10. Travel Planning
This gig requires that you plan trips for your clients. You have to select the best places to see, the best accommodation available, and the prices for these services.
All you need is a map and the internet to help you find good places for your clients.
11. Video Testimonials
Some bloggers need to get good reviews on their sites to attract customers. Thus, they are looking for people who can give their sites testimonials.
You must make a video about how good a product has been for you. Often, this will require you to try the product first, which the company will send you free of charge.
12. Short Video Ads
Ads are the most popular form of advertising on the internet at the moment. Designing short videos has been made easy with the numerous software tools on the internet (many of them free).
These ads can be about 1-minute long. Since the client determines the content, you can simply follow their prompts.
13. Design Ebook Covers
Book covers are another gig that can be done using Canva software. Just like certificates, some templates are already done for you. All you have to do is get on the Canva platform and design the cover based on what has been given to you by the client.

Hey. Can you answer numbers 3, 14 and 19 for the writing ask game? Please and thanks 🙂
Of course! :D
3. What is your writing ritual and why is it cursed?
Make coffee. Light candle(s). Water. Story playlist/writing playlist/lo-fi music. Open doc. Read what I already wrote. Love it. Drink coffe and start my Pomdoro timer. Spend 10 minutes staring without being able to write a coherent sentence. Walk around the room and manage the perfect paragraph in my head. Sit down to write -> nothing. Fell like crying 8probably cry a bit. Say fuck it and open tumblr. Go back to the doc and manage a somewhat good sentence after a mid scroll epiphany. Rinse and Repeat.
14. Do you lend your books to people? Are people scared to borrow books from you? Do you know exactly where all your “lost” books are and which specific friend from school you haven’t seen in twelve years still possesses them? Will you ever get them back?
Not anymore, specifically because of one friend from school yes. I'm very attached to my books and I don't like having them get lost. I probably will never seen them again no. And while I don't mind not seeing Fortune's Rock again (i still remember the whole story despite reading it in 7th grade and i still dislike it!) I am very sad not to have my Jane Eyre copy anymore because it was a gift and I have yet to buy a replacement :c
19. Tell me a story about your writing journey. When did you start? Why did you start? Were there bumps along the way? Where are you now and where are you going?
I started writing/creating stories very young. I got bored of red ridding hood as a toddler and used to make up other stories based on that with different colors. My pre-k teacher used to have me sit in front of the kids and make up stories during storytime and when i learnt how to write i very quickly became known as the 'writer' of the class, something even other kids parents used to compliment (we use to have writing compilations go home for the parents to read) and I was a very confident writer as a kid, always asked to read my writing out loud. I used to spend hours writing in my room and at some point even printed small stories about my class going on adventures and passed them around (yeah, i was /that/ confident in 4th grade). My portuguese teacher from 6th to 9th grade was a massive ego booster to me and adored my writing and really made me want to write a book. At this point I was also writing fanfic so I had started sharing my writing online and I would spend all my free time writing! And then I stopped, around 9th grade. I wrote for school and that's it. I tried to pick up fanfic again but only managed 1 chapter that's still online. And I didn't write again until my first year of college and I haven't stopped since then and while I definitely no longer have a lick of the confidence I had as a kid, I really want to go back to looking at my writing and truly truly enjoy it and I'm hoping to write a full original story, book or not, I just want to get back to creating my own worlds!
Thank you for asking :D
Weird questions for Writers!
