I have finished The Angst Version™~ (of chapter 50 of The Harrowing by @chthonion >:D) The bonus chapter added some stuff/re-inspired me, which is all to the good imo~ gotta get that Maximum Angst Factor AMMIRIGHT?? >:D (also. Mostly paraphrasing stuff just so you're aware~)

Then we got some of the conversation~ (without dialogue, 'cause a picture tells a thousand words~ >:D)

Then a sketch that was completely inspired by the bonus chapter-

It's not as 'polished' as the other ones, I just had thoughts about that tidbit and decided I absolutely had to mention it- so it got a drawing to match. :D

And finally, because I don't want to end this on too depressing a note-

My personal favourites include Extra Angry Maedhros + hands over the face Annatar, - then- actually. y'know what? I can't pick favourites. I like them all too much to do that. But that was the 'segment' that I experimented on - to try and convey the emotions through how chaotic/forceful the lines were, and it worked exactly how I wanted it to. Which is very satisfying.

(also, I don't think Maedhros was quite that visibly angry in the actual chapter, but it's supposed to be a mix of that plus Annatar's perception of him/what made Annatar panic. Make of that what you will. Eheh. Eheh. Eheh. >:D)

I can still kinda feel it 😂)#though typically once I realise I'm doing it then I will exaggerate it so I can 'feel' the pose I'm trying to draw #I really like the 'dripping' effect I did on maedhros tbh #it was kind of a last minute 'I have space that needs filling' decision #and it worked better than I thought it would #Finished all of these (apart from the first two) today #cause I know myself well enough to know I would get majorly distracted if I didn't.#And I have a LOT of assignments to get through this week 😅#(this was kind of procrastinating but like. I am not studying on a sunday unless I absolutely HAVE TO)

My little cousin’s trying out for her school’s volleyball team in 2 weeks and she’s so nervous she texted me to see if I would come over and help her practice after school she’s so sweet to think of me to help her like that 😭

#ingi post!#40+ hrs in deltarune and I JUST finished one complete run (ch1-4 no mercy + snowgrave) and have already started another (ch1-4 pacifist)#seeing the consequences of ch2 snowgrave play out in ch4 literally had my jaw drop at the viscerality of it #also just like. with ch1-2 deltarune i felt it was already on the same quality level as undertale but ch3-4 rlly surpassed my expectations #by like *a lot* a lot #3D!!! was not expecting 3D stuff at all!!#and we have still 3 more chapters to go?? holy shit #ch3-4 rlly just set it in for me that deltarune as a game is going to be a much larger and more ambitious game than undertale #anw this run was literally the first time i beat jevil ever (woo!)#second time for me to beat snowgrave spamton neo (literally was asking myself how i beat this guy the first time from a couple of yrs ago #while i fought him again)#and i died to ch3 secret boss' final attack a lot before realizing i was doing the whole fight wrong lol #fav boss fight that i did in the entire run was actually prob ch4 secret boss (in the newest dark world)#(havent done the other one since i fought the darkners in ch3)#loved the vibes of that entire fight #also the jumpscare (dread) of having hard undertale bullet patterns show up in ch3-4 😃 (loved the iteration in the undyne fight mechanics)#and the jumpscare (positive) that is sans deltarune #loved the bits where he showed up 😁 esp at the end of ch4 (i like that they put that whole scene at the end after *gestures at 2nd half #of ch4*)#not looking forward to a megalovania 2 (or similar no mercy fight from another character) if thats in the cards at all tho #anw quickfire thoughts #loved the new lightner dark world designs! unique but still evokes the vibe of their undertale counterparts #what the HELL is the song coming from across the lake??#its raining somewhere else!!! might be the first undertale melody to properly show up in deltarune iirc #i bet the fandom is having fun with battle throuple (happy pride month) shenanigans and whatever happened with spamton and 📺 lol #dess is def in that creepy shelter now (for how long tho? smthn mightve happened to her that makes her no longer recogniseable [to others #and/or herself])#the fact that 📺 is PRE-RENDERED 3D GRAPHICS?? #there's a vacancy at one of the larger galleries in town #and I'm absolutely qualified for the position #yet I cannot bring myself to apply #I'm like 2 months away from utter destitution I can't really afford to be picky #but I've met their head curator multiple times and I've met the owner/director like 3 times over the last 2 years... and they have bad vibes #it sounds superficial but I just do not want to work with them if I can help it #idk what the play is here #the Zeitz also famously has a toxic work environment so maybe that's just par for the course with some of the more prestigious institutions #working there would look good on my cv...#but after this last year and a half I don't know if I have the emotional energy to grin and bear it in a hostile environment #idk #I've been thinking about it all weekend and hoped I would've come to a decision by now #but idk.....

oh em geeee i went to a nail salon for the first time ever and got a cat eye mani pedi woooo
