If you're in Columbus, Ohio this weekend, check out an especially super charged Power-Con, featuring a jam packed exhibition of independent action figure makers from all over the country. Also make sure to swing by the newly assembled "Glyos Alley" section of the show to catch up with many of the current Glyos makers and get your first shot at their special Power-Con exclusives. 

Celebrating our first attendance of this long running show, Onell Design and Culture Pirates will be releasing a special small Power-Con joint assortment across our two sites. Both attendees of the convention and those at home will have the chance to pick up the figures, both onsite and online, while supplies last. 

Our stores will open simultaneously tomorrow night, Friday the 11th, at 9:30PM EDT for online sales.

Onsite sales will open in Glyos Alley tomorrow when Power-Con begins at 2PM. 

A massive thank you goes out to Val Staples for inviting us to his show and letting us join in the fun!

Here is Wingrid, name taken from the G2 doll, my dragonfly custom. She is heavily inspired by the prototype shown at Powercon, but taken in my own direction as she is a full scale doll rather than a 6 inch doll.

She's wearing Zombie Shake Rochelle's outfit as I really like the look of it for her bug theming, plus the cut of the dress accomodates for her many arms. I then gave her Briar Beauty's tights and Monster Exchange Lagoona's shoes to tie it all together and make her seem more like a doll you could see back in 2014.

I am planning on making the other bug girls but in my own direction as they're so uniquely sculpted and things that work on a 6 inch scale wouldn't work on a full scale.

I'm so very happy how this turned out as it truly was a trust the process moment with her as I combined and experimented with her pieces.

also, long trailer breakdown because i am insane for one (1) game series.

ALSO if you haven't seen it yet the official website is up with even more info if you haven't seen it yet!

Right off the bat, sand ships and large dune deserts to sail them in are confirmed. While the return of the Mohrans is unconfirmed, it is highly likely.

For the first time, the playable hunter speaks in cutscenes!

Also that is 100% a Yian Kut-ku ornament. Highly likely to return, but unconfirmed.

This little guy, Nata, is very interesting, and even the website describes him as a "mysterious young boy." Probably extremely tied to the strong story in game. Also... that sure is an interesting scale you've got on that necklace there. Very likely from either the still missing flagship of the game or the final boss.

Speaking of names, the handler (dark hair) is Alma and the blacksmith (blonde hair) is Gemma.

These fanged beasts are named Doshaguma, and the website confirms that ALL are large monsters, and yet still can be found in packs. It's unknown whether the larger red one is classified differently than its pack mates, however. Incredibly likely that the large monster limit per locale is massively higher, and/or nonexistent. Also, one is bodily dragging a Ceratonoth corpse around, something that's never been done before.

The new froggy amphibian is a Chatacabra, but I want to draw your attention to the left. There's the resident raptors of the Windward Plains (the locale name), but next to them is what I'm pretty sure is either a Scatternut or a Powercone, both returning from World.

Alma points out the massive herds of small monsters... while following us out into the locale, on her own Seikret mount. Not sure if this is a follower thing or a cutscene/story exclusive part, but cool nonetheless.

Small monsters can interact with each other as if they're in a turf war, bodily dragging each other around. Also new small monster brute wyverns and leviathans (?)

A little hard to catch, but what's happening here is the hunter is using their new Hook Slinger to gather the stones from the ground in order to activate a falling boulder trap. The website also implies it can be used to gather "all types of other materials" on the go from range as well!

Also confirmed seasonal changes to the environment, occurring in the middle of hunts. The website implies three states; dry, stormy, and wet.

What follows next is what I'm pretty sure is the introductory cutscene for the Doshaguna, featuring a multi monster sandpit trap. Unknown if it works like that in a real hunt.
