I think it's common for Blue to confess first. But I think he'd feel guilty about how he treated Red during their journey, so he bottles up his feelings.

Cut to after the events of Gen 2 and Red is back in Kanto. Blue is nice to Red but doesn't confess. No matter how many times the Johtrio/Daisy/Leaf bug him about it.

Red of course finds out and confesses to Blue first. This helps Blue confess.

When it comes to his emotions, Blue isn't the best. He could talk to others about their own (which is why he's good with kids IMO) but he's not good with his own til he's late teens or early 20's.

On the flip side, because I see Gold being a very huggy person, it doesn't take Silver long to open up about his emotions since he has a safe place to do so. Gold and Kris/Lyra are great like that!

Merry Christmas everyone!

In the spirit of the holiday, I drew my latest hyperfixation character (Silver) as the Nutcracker Prince with my OC Rebecca as Clara.

I also drew an alternate version with Ethan/Gold for the precious metal shippers.

There’s two of each, one with and one without the mask to represent the transformation.

If this were a full production, I can imagine Team Rocket playing the rats (with rattata ears and tails) and Giovanni or Archer as the Rat King.

The older sibling would be played by Kris or Bridget (who is Rebecca’s older sister) and the younger sibling would be either Lyra or Sparky (Rebecca’s pet Yamper).

The Sugar Plum Fairy can be Blue (f) with Green (m) as her chevalier
