The two of you had argued in the car on the way there, as usual.“You’re not taking point,” you said firmly, checking your weapon.

“Why not?” Haechan leaned back in his seat, his legs spread lazily as if the mission was just another stroll through the park. “Because you’re reckless,” you snapped. “And you’re uptight,” he shot back, grinning. “We’re a perfect match.” Your jaw clenched. “You’ll follow my lead, or I swear—”

“You’ll what?” he interrupted, leaning closer. “Yell at me again? Go ahead. It’s kind of hot when you talk back.” You glared at him, your heart pounding for reasons you didn’t want to examine. “Inform Jaemin to be ready with the car at the end of the third alley.” You muttered getting out of the car and Haechan just smirked following your suit. “Already did Princess” 

God! You absolutely hated him.

The facility’s interior was cold and sterile, the hum of machinery filling the silence as the two of you navigated the dimly lit hallways. Your footsteps were soft, your breaths measured as you scanned for signs of movement.

“The server room should be up ahead,” you whispered, glancing at the map on your wrist display.

Haechan nodded, his eyes darting around as he took in the surroundings. Despite his constant teasing, you couldn’t deny that he was good at what he did. His movements were fluid, his reflexes sharp, and his ability to stay calm under pressure was something you begrudgingly admired.

As you approached the server room, you stopped, holding up a hand to signal him to halt. A security camera was mounted on the wall, its lens sweeping back and forth.

“Wait for it,” you murmured, your heart pounding as you timed its movement. The moment the lens turned away, you darted forward, disabling the camera with a quick tap on your wrist display.

“Impressive,” Haechan said as he followed. “Almost like you know what you’re doing.” You ignored him, walking ahead.

“I don’t like this,” Haechan said, his gaze darting down the hallway. “You don’t like anything,” you shot back. “Yeah, well, something’s off,” he said, his voice tighter now.

You opened your mouth to respond, but before you could, the sound of boots echoed in the distance. Haechan stiffened yanking you back. You stumbled into him, your back colliding with his chest.

“Get behind me,” he said, his voice low and commanding.

“What—”

“Get. Behind. Me.”

Something in his tone made you obey without question.

A group of guards appeared at the end of the hallway, their weapons raised. Before you could even process what was happening, Haechan stepped forward, his gun already aimed.

The next few seconds were a blur of gunfire and movement. Haechan was quick, his aim precise as he took down each guard with terrifying efficiency. You watched, frozen, as he moved with the kind of confidence and control you rarely saw in the field.

When the last guard fell, he turned to you, his breathing heavy. “Are you okay?” he asked, his eyes scanning you for injuries.

You nodded, your throat dry. “I’m fine.”He stepped closer, his gaze intense. “Don’t scare me like that again.” You blinked, taken aback by the raw emotion in his voice. “I—”

“Let’s go,” he said, cutting you off as he grabbed your hand again.

You thought you were safe when you reached the control room, but the moment you stepped inside, you knew something was wrong. It felt quite too easy to retrieve the intel. The server room was small and unassuming, its walls lined with blinking lights and rows of humming machinery. You worked quickly, plugging in your device to extract the intel.

Haechan stood by the door, his weapon drawn, his body tense as he kept watch. The playful smirk he usually wore was gone, replaced by a look of intense focus.

“How much longer?” he asked, his voice low. “Two minutes,” you replied, your eyes glued to the screen. “That’s two minutes too long,” he muttered.

You ignored him, your fingers flying over the keyboard. The progress bar crawled forward agonizingly slowly, each second feeling like an eternity. The moment there was green ‘completed’ pop up on the screen you smiled quickly removing your device as you whispered to Haechan “Done.” He nodded and carefully stepped out of the server room.

Then there was it…

The first shot rang out, shattering the silence and kicking your instincts into overdrive. Haechan moved like he was made for chaos, his body a blur of precision and control. He fired with deadly accuracy, each shot taking down another guard as you covered his back. But there were too many.

“Go left!” he shouted, shoving you toward an open corridor. “What about you?”

“I’ll be fine,” he said, his smirk returning despite the gunfire. “Just don’t slow me down.”

You didn’t have time to argue. You sprinted down the corridor, your heart hammering in your chest. But you didn’t get far.

A guard stepped out of the shadows, grabbing you from behind and slamming you against the wall. Your gun clattered to the ground as his grip tightened around your arm.

“Touch her, and you’re dead,” Haechan’s voice rang out, sharp and furious. The guard hesitated, and in that split second, Haechan took the shot. The man crumpled to the floor, his grip on you loosening as you stumbled forward.

“You okay?” Haechan asked, his hands steadying you. “I’m fine,” you said, your voice shaking. “You don’t look fine,” he said, his gaze scanning you for injuries.

“Can we save the commentary for later?” you snapped, stepping away from him.

His jaw tightened, but he nodded. “Stay close,” he said again, his tone leaving no room for argument. Haechan’s grip on your wrist was firm as he led you through the labyrinth of hallways, dodging guards and weaving between crates and machinery. Your heart was pounding so loudly you could barely hear the shouts behind you. Suddenly you saw more guards marching in your direction. Haechan shoved you behind a pillar, his body shielding yours as he fired back. The heat of him against you, the sheer intensity in his gaze as he protected you—it made your breath hitch in a way that had nothing to do with fear. “Stay behind me,” he said, his voice steady despite the chaos.“No,” you said, your own weapon raised. “I can handle myself.”

“Damn it, Y/N!” he snapped, his eyes blazing. “Why can’t you just let me protect you for once?”

“Because I don’t need you to!” you shouted back. “Yell at me again,” he said, his voice dropping to a dangerous whisper, “and I’ll give you a real reason to scream.”

The tension between you was palpable, even in the midst of the fight. But there was no time to dwell on it. As he took the guards down you both moved ahead finding a potential exit. The two of you burst through a set of double doors and onto the roof, the cool night air hitting you like a slap in the face. The city lights stretched out below, a dizzying reminder of how high up you were. “This was your plan?” you asked, your voice tinged with panic as you looked around. “There’s no way down from here!”

“Relax,” Haechan said, pulling a grappling device from his belt. “I’ve got it covered.”

“You’re kidding,” you said, eyeing the device warily. He smirked, his confidence infuriating as always. “Do I look like I’m kidding?” Before you could argue, the sound of footsteps echoed behind you. You spun around, your weapon raised, as more guards spilled onto the roof.

“We’re out of time,” Haechan said, tossing you the grappling hook. “What am I supposed to do with this?” you demanded, your voice rising. “Use it to get out of here,” he said, firing at the advancing guards. “And leave you behind?”

“I’ll be right behind you,” he promised. You attached the hook to the edge of the roof, your heart pounding as you prepared to rappel down the side of the building. he drop was dizzying, the ground far below illuminated by the glow of streetlights.

The sounds of gunfire faded as you neared the ground, replaced by the rush of blood in your ears. When your feet finally touched solid ground, you looked up, your chest tightening as you saw Haechan still on the roof, firing at the remaining guards.

“Haechan!” you shouted, your voice breaking. Moments later, he secured his own grappling hook and leapt off the roof, the rope unspooling as he descended rapidly.

Your breath caught as he landed beside you, his chest heaving, his face streaked with sweat and dirt.

“Miss me?” he asked, flashing you a tired grin. “Shut Up” you said, your voice trembling with a mix of relief and anger.

The two of you didn’t stop running until you were several blocks away, getting inside the car Jaemin had already parked. Without wasting a second Haechan drove off, getting away from the chasing guards as soon as he could. The car ride was silent, as he drove to the secret headquarters of the security agency. You gave your superior the intel you both somehow managed to retrieve. “I can’t believe this,” you muttered, breaking the silence as you turned around the corner and into an empty hallway after exiting your superior’s office.

“Believe what?” he asked, leaning against a crate. “This,” you said, gesturing around the room. “Every mission with you turns into a disaster. Do you have any idea how frustrating it is to work with someone who doesn’t take anything seriously?”

He frowned, his playful demeanor fading. “You think I don’t take this seriously?”

“Obviously not,” you said, turning to face him. “All you ever do is joke around and make everything harder for everyone else.” His jaw tightened, his gaze darkening. “You think this is easy for me? Do you have any idea what it’s like to stand next to you every day, knowing you hate me?”

You froze, his words catching you off guard. “What are you talking about?” you asked, your voice softer now. He hesitated, running a hand through his hair. “Forget it,” he said, turning away.

“No,” you said, stepping closer. “What do you mean?” He exhaled sharply, his shoulders tense. “Do you hate me?” he asked suddenly, his voice low.

The question hung in the air, heavy with meaning. You hesitated, your heart pounding. “I… I don’t know,” you admitted.

He turned to face you, his eyes searching yours. “All I’ve ever wanted,” he said quietly, “is for you to trust me. To look at me the way you look at anyone else. All I want is for you to see me.”

His words hit you like a punch to the gut, the vulnerability in his voice breaking through every wall you’d built between you.

Before you could finish, he stepped closer, his hand cupping your cheek as his lips crashed against yours. The kiss was fiery, desperate, filled with all the anger, frustration, and unspoken emotion that had been simmering between you for so long. His hands gripped your waist, pulling you closer as you tangled your fingers in his hair, giving as good as you got.

When you finally pulled apart, both of you were breathless, your foreheads resting together.

“This changes everything,” you whispered. “Maybe,” he said, a small smirk tugging at his lips. “But at least now, we’re on the same side.”

The mission might have been a disaster, but for the first time, you didn’t mind.

okay, so im a brainrotted freak, and ive had p.AI.nter on my mind for a while. naturally, i gave the bastard a body! here ya go!

rant/art dump below the cut

first off, p.ai.nter is a short king. mostly because i like the aesthetic, but its also convenient for him! it takes less resources to keep his body going! i imagine he would also wanna be smaller so that he could be more intricate with his art.

now, because he is mobile, the power source becomes an issue. hes an old computer! how does he survive unplugged ?!

well, here, i introduce the wonderful world of BATTERIES!

p.ai.nter would have a battery somewhere in his core, which would be how he keeps himself charged. that also means i get to give him a little cord tail! (for charging purposes, of course.)

i also am giving him a second tail, just for funsies. he deserves a USB drive with his conscience in it. he connected to other tech in the blacksite, so he should be able to keep doing that! because it was a very SAFE and FRIENDLY action on his part!

maybe angsty, but i think that p.ai.nter finds humans a wee bit gross, especially after everything that happened to him. why would he wanna be human shaped?

he wants something mobile and appropriate for a human-dominated world, of course, so he needs to have arms and a torso—but he wants his machinery to be obvious, if that makes any sense. no exposed wires (he is not stupid), but flashy metal bits, visible joint segments, yap!

now, building off of that, p.ai.nter would prefer a bird-like shape to his legs. he would definitely need to go through some manner of physical therapy in order to pilot his new body, and so he needs legs that inherently provide for more balance!

therefore, an excuse to give him anthro legs.

considering how much art p.ai.nter will probably begin creating, he wants something that doesnt stain easily.

a small problem : he doesnt like the look of dark paint! it doesnt match his monitor, and thats awful!

so, he resorts to covering clothes.

p.ai.nters shirts would need to be oversized and flowy to accommodate for his THICK AS FUCK head. so that he can actually put them on without stretching them out, of course.

therefore: oversized sweaters, long skirts, and aprons!

p.ai.nter wants to be MOBILE! theres so much to do and see! hes been locked down for years, how could he waste a perfectly good body ?!

he has several jointed segments in his torso to aid in movement and rotation, and his limb joints are made out of pliable metal tubes.

it also aids his precision in art! its easier to get clear views without body parts in the way and whatnot.

note: p.ai.nter settled on having five fingers per hand, despite insisting he wanted four for stylistic purposes. five fingers are ideal for human equipment, hes pretty sure.

now, you might be thinking, this guy has a lot going on. does he not overheat? hes a sentient brick?

there is a solution : air holes and internal fans!

a few strategically placed holes cover p.ai.nters body to aid in natural ventilation. its kinda like breathing!

inside of his body, cooling fans are centered in his chest and limbs. they distribute the air more evenly.

he really overheats when hes trying to do too much, such as controlling several devices or thinking about too many things at once!

now, for the behavioral headcanons :

painter has a LOT of fun toying with his new body. he goes on leisurely strolls sometimes, because hes previously never been able to.

his art will improve a lot upon receiving a body! having a new sense of autonomy would be a serious upgrade for him, and he would have many new ways of living. it wouldnt be AS dull to be a sentient AI in an abandoned facility.

he might go find ellies painting and stare sadly at it, though—i assume this theory still holds up? right? please?

sometimes he mimics the faces of other people on his monitor! like, he might draw sebastians eyes and mouth, and just uses that face to talk to him sometimes. as a means of teasing or affection. (he could probably do this before getting a body, but having a body definitely gives him the energy to do silly things like this!) pretty good way to find out how he sees your face, too.

despite p.ai.nter overheating when he runs too many tasks, hes a chronic multitasker! he tries to make the most of his new body, and hes often forced to sit back and slow down.

painter tried to convince his builder—most likely sebastian, with his engineering major and all—to let him have turrets on his arms, but that could become problematic with p.ai.nters mental state, so he agreed to have fake turrets for stylistic purposes only! he likes to keep them on his forearms and thighs, secured with straps that can be taken off. he enjoys pointing them at things and pretending to shoot stuff—which is EXACTLY why he doesnt get to have real guns.

Let me start with the following principle: “Energy is the only universal currency: One of its many forms must be transformed to get anything done.” Economies are just intricate systems set up to do those transformations, and all economically significant energy conversions have (often highly undesirable) environmental impacts. Consequently, as far as the biosphere is concerned, the best anthropogenic energy conversions are those that never take place: No emissions of gases (be they greenhouse or acidifying), no generation of solid or liquid wastes, no destruction of ecosystems. The best way to do this has been to convert energies with higher efficiencies: Without their widespread adoption (be it in large diesel- and jet-engines, combined-cycle gas turbines, light-emitting diodes, smelting of steel, or synthesis of ammonia) we would need to convert significantly more primary energy with all attendant environmental impacts.

Conversely, what then could be more wasteful, more undesirable, and more irrational than negating a large share of these conversion gains by wasting them? Yet precisely this keeps on happening—and to indefensibly high degrees—with all final energy uses. Buildings consume about a fifth of all global energy, but because of inadequate wall and ceiling insulation, single-pane windows and poor ventilation, they waste at least between a fifth to a third of it, as compared with well-designed indoor spaces. A typical SUV is now twice as massive as a common pre-SUV vehicle, and it needs at least a third more energy to perform the same task.

The most offensive of these wasteful practices is our food production. The modern food system (from energies embedded in breeding new varieties, synthesizing fertilizers and other agrochemicals, and making field machinery to energy used in harvesting, transporting, processing, storing, retailing, and cooking) claims close to 20 percent of the world’s fuels and primary electricity—and we waste as much as 40 percent of all produced food. Some food waste is inevitable. The prevailing food waste, however, is more than indefensible. It is, in many ways, criminal.

Combating it is difficult for many reasons. First, there are many ways to waste food: from field losses to spoilage in storage, from perishable seasonal surpluses to keeping “perfect” displays in stores, from oversize portions when eating outside of the home to the decline of home cooking.

Second, food now travels very far before reaching consumers: The average distance a typical food item travels is 1,500 to 2,500 miles before being bought.

Third, it remains too cheap in relation to other expenses. Despite recent food-price increases, families now spend only about 11 percent of their disposable income on food (in 1960 it was about 20 percent). Food-away-from-home spending (typically more wasteful than eating at home) is now more than half of that total. And finally, as consumers, we have an excessive food choice available to us: Just consider that the average American supermarket now carries more than 30,000 food products.

Our society is apparently quite content with wasting 40 percent of the nearly 20 percent of all energy it spends on food. In 2025, unfortunately, this shocking level of waste will not receive more attention. In fact, the situation will only get worse. While we keep pouring billions into the quest for energy “solutions”—ranging from new nuclear reactors (even fusion!) to green hydrogen, all of them carrying their own environmental burdens—in 2025, we will continue to fail addressing the huge waste of food that took so much fuel and electricity to produce.

With Stan and Fords’ teams done, it’s time to complete the mystery trio with McGucket! Once again, there are in depth little story blurbs about how they’d meet and get along under the cut.

1. Klink > Klang > Klinklang (Gear Pokemon)

A quirky and unpredictable little thing, Klink was the first Pokemon that Fiddlford caught. Chasing an escaped Lechonk from his family’s farm, he followed it into a cave where he found this mysterious Pokemon. He’d never seen anything like it. The fact that such a mechanical and inorganic looking thing could somehow be a living breathing creature utterly fascinated him. Klink was what sparked his interest in mechanisms, an interest that would soon bloom into a passion for machinery.

When he brought Klink home, it confused his family. They couldn’t understand why he wanted to keep such a strange thing, and encouraged him to release it as it served no useful purpose on the farm—just a “distraction” keeping him from the real work. Though it labeled him as a bit of a misfit, Fiddleford kept the creature and kept creating machines too.

Klang Pokédex entries: “A minigear and big gear comprise its body. If the minigear it launches at a foe doesn’t return, it will die. … By changing the direction in which it rotates, it communicates its feelings to others. When angry, it rotates faster. … This Pokémon is considered the symbol of industrial technology.”

When Klink evolves into Klang, Fiddleford becomes aware if not entirely fixated on the fact that if its tandem rotation is interrupted, it will die. He internalizes how essential it is for its gears to keep turning, how important it is that its mechanisms run smoothly, how much he can learn about it from observing the way it works.

It informs the way he looks at things, how he builds things and for what purpose he does. He adopts the belief that he can overcome any problem by finding solutions in building machines, and keeping those machines well oiled. If it works for Klang, it can work for him! And if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Klinklang is that well oiled machine incarnate. A complex marrying of many mechanisms born from years of Fiddleford’s care and effort. It achieves this ideal form soon after Fiddleford settled down with Emma May and started his budding computer company. It is a great help to Fiddleford’s work, but more so than that, it’s Fiddleford’s oldest and truest friend who he brings with him through every endeavor.

As Fiddleford’s mental state rapidly declined, in his final stages of coherency, Fiddleford stored it there in a panicked effort to protect it from his own impending, destructive insanity. Unfortunately, this effort proved entirely necessary.

After Weirdmagedddon, Fiddleford finally retrieves it. Its gears run a little slower, but they’re still just as precise. That well-oiled machine will yet be well-oiled someday once again. They’ll get there together.

2. Porygon > Porygon2 > PorygonZ (Virtual Pokemon)

Porygon Pokédex entries: “State-of-the-art technology was used to create Porygon. It was the first artificial Pokémon to be created via computer programming. … It was built years ago by scientists who dreamed of exploring space. Their dreams have yet to come true.”

Fiddleford created Porygon (with minimal help from Ford) while in Gravity Falls. A sort of side pet project, and then pet in general, they concerned themselves with when they weren’t working on the portal. While Ford’s ambitions seemed grander than the mere exploration of their own universe, Fiddleford suggested they should at least make an attempt to investigate their own galaxies while they’re at it—convincing him due to his still strong affinity for stars and space.

Fiddleford dedicated much more time into its creation than Ford did, handling the entirety of its programming himself while Ford did little more than develop its physical body. It ends up a semi-success. It works and can even function in an entirely virtual space within Fiddleford’s computer. Its space travel capabilities aren’t fully explored, however.

Much to Fiddleford’s disappointment, the portal remains Ford’s priority and the completion of the Pokémon doesn’t sway him as he thought it might. He doesn’t give up yet, though.

Porygon2 Pokédex entry: “It was upgraded to enable the exploration of other planets. However, it failed to measure up.”

In an effort to divert reignite Ford’s enthusiasm, Fiddleford created an upgrade for the Pokémon entirely on his own. He was able to update it with some very impressive features. It was now equipped with artificial intelligence and more specific parameters for interplanetary travel. However, since Ford refused to help him develop the Pokémon further and demanded most of Fiddleford’s time for portal work, he wasn’t able to fine tune the creature as well as he wanted. Its physical body even lost its ability to fly. In a last ditch effort, he once again asked Ford if he could at least humor him and aid in creating one more definitive upgrade to create a Pokémon that they could both be proud of and perhaps even garner recognition in the scientific community for it being the technological breakthrough that it was.

Unfortunately, Ford had other plans.

Porygon-Z Pokédex entries: “Its programming was modified to enable it to travel through alien dimensions. … It did not work as planned. … Its behavior is noticeably unstable, which is apparently due to the incompetence of the engineer who updated its programming.”

Ford presented him with a Dubious Disc, something he’d apparently developed on his own, but the data it contained was so odd Fiddleford wondered how he could’ve come up with it all. Ford reassured him that this new upgrade would allow it to aid them with explorations of the worlds beyond the portal—the opposite of what Fiddleford was hoping to achieve with it.

His protests to use the disc on the Pokemon fell on deaf ears. Unable to deter Ford, he eventually conceded and defeatedly installed the disc that would irreversibly alter the little creature born of their once united desire.

The changes were immediate… and immensely problematic.

Fiddleford was certain that it was infected with a virus. Its processing capabilities were largely compromised, its artificial intelligence seemingly corrupted as it now acted in unpredictably wild ways. Ford assured him that this was merely a side effect of its enhanced abilities to withstand the harsh environments of other worlds. This did little to sooth Fiddleford because even if that were the case, that didn’t explain why it now acted so crazed.

But as soon as he got a glimpse of what awaits them on the other side of the portal, he understood completely. Utterly unwilling to let Ford torture the poor thing anymore, Fiddleford took Porygon-Z and left. He attempted to undo the damage done, tried to revert the creature back to its form that was yet unfinished but still had the capacity for potential and growth.

Every attempt was a failure.

3. Beheeyem (Cerebral Pokemon)

Beheeyem Pokédex entries: “Rumors of its origin are linked to a UFO crash site- … It uses psychic power to control an opponent’s brain and tamper with its memories.”

During a routine expedition at Crash Site Omega to collect parts for the portal, Fiddleford had a dangerous close encounter of the third kind with this Pokemon. Ambushing them, and rendering Ford incapacitated with mysterious strobing flashes from his multicolored fingers, Fiddleford was forced to fight the Pokémon alone. Despite his terror, he was able to overpower the Pokemon with his own and even managed to capture him.

Even after the threat was subdued, what made this encounter all the more terrifying is that when he and Ford returned home safely, even though Ford recovered, he had no memory of the incident and no memory of the Pokémon itself at all. Keeping the fact that he had captured him a secret, Fiddleford discreetly studied the creature and determined that it uses the lights on its fingers to alter memories, even able to erase them entirely.

It was through his studies of this Pokémon’s abilities that he was able to develop the technology used for the memory gun.

Galarian Meowth Pokédex entry: “Living with a savage, seafaring people has toughened this Pokémon’s body so much that parts of it have turned to iron.”

Most Meowth of this typing are such because of their rough and tumble lives sailing the seas, but the Meowth that McGucket finds doesn’t seem to have been included or maybe he just didn’t get the memo. Instinct still driving him to the water, he spent all his time at the lake, swimming up to people on their boats and pestering them with his oddly aggressive and unsettling behavior. Old Man McGucket found him while doing the same exact thing. For a little while they fought over their territory before Tate chased them both out. Meowth then follows McGucket to live in the dump with no other place to go. They formed a truce though still occasionally scuffled with each other over scraps.

During Weirdmageddon, Meowth evolves into Perrserker. His resilient, fighting side coming out in full force.

Psyduck is another Pokemon McGucket met at the lake. I have tickle cleaning dreams allll the time, that just happened to be an especially vivid one. Some of my other favorites include the one where I was a professional lee and got hired for a fundraising event sort of like a car wash fundraiser, except customers paid to help clean me 🥴 then there was another dream where I was being washed in one of those old fashioned wooden tubs, and i squirmed too much and knocked the tub over so that I fell on the floor in the middle of a puddle of soap water. And the head ler stood over me and was like "dang it, we are going to get you squeaky clean if it's the last thing we do!" and then picked up my leg and started scrubbing my foot and then all the other lers joined in and gave me a tickle bath right there on the floor while I scream laughed my head off with pure joy.

You get to struggle and whimper seeing the suds being applied and spinning around the whirling buffers while the jets scan and take aim on your body, starting with the gentle fuzzy sprays to soak you down and raise your sensitivity before the precision jets target your belly and legs and underarms, kicking on with a blast to give you the thorough pre-wash.

Between the incoming walls of fluff you can see me with the tablet working away, flashing you a knowing smile. Just as my team of techs similarly wave as they look up from their stations, pleased as punch to practice their work on such a wiggly giggly cutie. The progress lights at the top show that your deep cleanse is about to begin with the multi-color buffers moving about twirling around your body from head to toe, spreading the tingly popping sudsy bubbles. The sounds of machinery rises and pumps away, your twitching writhing areas covered in the tickly solution. "We've got a squirmer!" one of the techs declares with a giggle as you hear an audible click to increase the speed of the buffers. More clicks follow, and between the melee of bubbles and buffers you can see the lights of phone cameras going off. They really love their work here at the human wash.

The progress bar dings as extra toe cleansing is lit up with rollers and detail brushes whirling down to get at your feet as the frame raises to expose them fully, assisted by little clamps for each toe. And the process only speeds up from there as the royal cleaning follows, with extra soft silky draping cloths are applied to your royal chest buttons and lower regal zone, the mechanical hands taking the utmost care to tease and coax out cleanliness on your most elegant spots.
