MY ONLY QUESTION IS: ARE THERE ANY JAGUARS LEFT IN BRAZIL?
PIC INFO: Spotlight on the cover photo to "National Geographic" magazine, dated November, 1977. The official photo description reads as:
"Endangered symbol of the Amazon Basin's rich wildlife, a jaguar finds safety behind the bars of a Brazilian zoo. 📸: Loren McIntyre (1917-2003).

📝 vincentvangoyard.com, Wikipedia 📸wikiart, artnet.com, vincentvangoyard.com, hpebeast, printmag (Ren Sourcing - Sibel Ege) https://www.instagram.com/p/CkDn3KwrEFv/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Dive into Creative Communities: Dafi Kuhne
As this article mentions, Dafi's work highlights typography in a contemporary setting but using old techniques, specifically the letterpress. From an outside perspective, this highlights the idea of a cultural shift where he is using the old techniques but presenting them in a contemporary setting. He admits that most of his inspiration comes from testing and trying new things, for example using materials other than a letterpress but creating the same feel (i.e. fridge magnets).
However, a cultural shift often refers the experience of discovering a new way to achieve something (an outcome) which I think is reflective in Dafi's process. While he learnt the traditional way of printing, typography and letterforms as time has past he has been able to transition these ideas into modern society.
Dafi's study history:
2003: Architecture at Federal Institute of Technology
2005: Evening classes in Typography with Prof. Rudolf Barmettler
Following into Visual Communication at Zurich University of the Arts
In describing his education, Kuhne refers to 'detail' and the fact he fascinated by learning everything that he needed to know about typography and graphic design.
To me, along with his study in Architecture, highlights his eye for detail and taking every step of the process with careful consideration. While he leaves room for exploration and discovery, the outcome of his projects are developed with every detail serving a purpose or form of communication.
Eye for structure and form
