Priscilla Ahn: “Fine on the Outside” (2014)
The beautiful and heartbreaking 2014 Studio Ghibli film When Marnie Was There ends with the beautifully heartbreaking “Fine On the Outside”, which seems to sum up its main character and protagonist.
I can’t recommend the film more earnestly. If it’s not one of the more “magical” of the Ghibli films, it is the finest work the studio has ever produced…
(I'm not sure if this would be a full-fleged series on my blog or not; I just need an excuse to share these =v=')

I have NOT listened to this song up until recently, but this reminds me so much of childhood. Also it's a 2000s song so the nostalgia factor is just higher there- (I'm used to hearing certain qualities of 2000s songs and that's why-)

This song speaks to me guys. I'm sorry but those lyrics hit close to home for me as an introvert that doesn't want to completely go unseen- Also that long instrumental near the middle has so much emotion 🥲
I might make more of these posts depending on other songs I hear that I wish to share! Let me know what you guys think of these songs and your opinions on songs that are in your head. I'm open to hearing about them :)
