Narrated Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, "I have been ordered to prostrate on seven bones i.e. on the forehead along with the tip of the nose and the Prophet (peace be upon him) pointed towards his nose, both hands, both knees and the toes of both feet and not to gather the clothes or the hair." Sahih al-Bukhari 812 In-book reference : Book 10, Hadith 207 // Sahih Muslim 490d In-book reference : Book 4, Hadith 260

The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) clarified that Allah commanded him to prostrate in prayer on seven body parts, which are: First: The forehead, i.e., the upper part of the face above the nose and eyes. The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) pointed with his hand to his nose to clarify that the forehead and the nose represent one part of the seven and to stress the fact that one must touch the ground with his nose in prostration. The second and third parts: The two hands. The fourth and fifth: The knees. The sixth and seventh: The toes of both feet. He commanded us not to tie our hair or fold up our clothes when prostrating on the ground to protect them; rather, we should let them spread out and fall on the ground to prostrate along with the body parts.
Benefits from the Hadith
It is a must in prayer to prostrate on the seven parts.
It is disliked to tuck up and fold back the clothes and hair in prayer.
The one praying must maintain his composure during his prayer by placing the seven parts included in Sujūd (prostration) on the ground and resting on them until he recites the prescribed Dhikr (remembrance of Allah).
The prohibition of folding back the hair is exclusively prescribed for men apart from women, who are commanded to cover themselves in prayer.

"Great masters presented examples on overcoming ignorance. They taught that it is like being in a dark room and mistaking a rope for a snake. As a result, one is very frightened and suffers. How can one become free of this suffering? Taking a knife or weapon will not help. Having a bottle of poison to kill the snake will not help either. What will help? Examining what one sees and in that way discovering that the rope in the dark room is not a snake. Then one will no longer be afraid and will stop suffering. In the same way, if we continue believing in an inherently existing self of an individual and phenomena, we will experience fear and will suffer. As long as we adhere to the belief in a self, we will suffer. Only wisdom of selflessness will bring freedom from all kinds of suffering."

The Islamic motivation channel began motivating young Muslims from every corner of the world for guiding them on a straight way of Allah, allowing them to be obedient to Allah, and they dedicate themselves to Islam in any practice of their life, such as salah, zakath, roza, hajj, and other fard in Islam. Furthermore, Allah instructing us to do pious acts and to give salaam in the community major and to guide other people into doing pious acts, and Islam is a way of life and path of Allah. Also, whoever turns off the path of Allah surely they will have the woeful life. Now, Muslims are not practicing Islam according to the shariah: what the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said of Islam and Allah. The true believer is he who has taqwa, that consciousness of Allah subhanahu ta'ala, and he knows all the little good deeds such as how to pray, how to make ablution, how to perform prostration, how to make dua, how to give charity, how to pray fard salah, how to pray sunnat o nawafil, and how to give zakah, how to do hajj o umrah, and how to deal with problems, and how to recite the dua on every calamity that may happen; these are the teachings of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him in Islam. Allah chooseth His servants; the righteous deed is done without Allah's permission, it cannot be moved, it is He, Allah, who is superior. There is no god worthy of worship except Allah. Islam is given the opportunity to survive on the earth with great akhlaq, and Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said a lot of signs of qayamah, the day of judgement, including Nuzool e Isa alaihisalam and the arrival of Imam Mahdhi. Also, it is mentioned in some famous hadiths about the war which was called al malhama tul uzma, the arrival of Dajjal, Yajooj and Majooj (Gog & Magog), and the other things. The main motive of this channel is to spread the awareness of deen in several countries, and the intention of this channel is to guide the young Muslims and sadqa e jariya. May Allah guide us to the right path, Ameen.
The Islamic motivation channel's mission is clear: to bring young Muslims closer to Allah, following the path of Islam as taught by Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him, ensuring they follow the fard of Islam, like salah, zakath, roza, hajj, and other obligations. With taqwa, the believers acknowledge the presence of Allah in every aspect of their lives. May Allah help every Muslim practice the teachings of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him in every action and deed, for Allah is the true guide, and Islam is His chosen way of life. Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him laid down the fundamentals of Islam so that future generations can practice and live by them with the help of Allah.

To nuance this a little bit; I don't know what it's like in Denmark, but in the United States that hasn't been the normative way of receiving Communion for at least four decades now. In most Catholic parishes one would go to, a Catholic walks up with their left hand resting in their right, making a little "throne" (to quote Cyril of Jerusalem) for the Eucharist to be placed in. The communicant then uses the right hand to lift the Host up and place it in their own mouths. That being said, you're right, you could also approach the priest and either stand or kneel, opening your mouth wide and sticking your tongue out a little bit as you tilt your head back slightly, and allow the priest to place the Host on your tongue. Keep in mind that you do these things so the priest doesn't have to stick his fingers in your mouth. But if you were to convert to Catholicism and start taking Communion, the above method is more common where I am from, at least. (For a bonus, in some Catholic but not Roman Catholic churches, people take Communion using blessed spoons instead)
I just realised that in Catholicism, you're supposed to just open your mouth and stick out your tongue, and then the priest puts the communion wafer in your gob.
As a person who was raised protestant, may I just firmly state that if a priest EVER stuck their fingers in my mouth, I'd bite them clean off.

Crazy that one of the underlying takeaways from MDZS is that you should be punished for believing what people show you.
Jiang Cheng was never told anything about wwx's actions and repeatedly watched him break all his promises to him and YMJ (even after he, JC, gave up himself and YMJ for wwx, he did not receive the same in return from his own knowledge pool.) Yet, he is very suddenly expected to be remorseful and grateful when Wen Ning reveals the core transfer. The world JC lived in had these truths: WWX isn't helping to rebuild our home, training our disciples. He has become a drunk and is actively undermining the sect and what little authority I've been able to cultivate, which is devastating enough when I am the only young war hero/sect leader excluded from the great sects' sworn brotherhood allyship. When I (JC) try to find out why he's doing this and stop him, he brushes me off and makes light of it. I continue to tolerate it anyway because he's wwx and I love him. Then, instead of putting in the work he should be to save our people he turns around and saves the Wens, at great expense and danger not only to our sect but himself, as one of the only people I still have left. When I tell him he cannot have both he chooses them. I still make sure he knows he's loved and belongs with the Jiang (by bringing our sister to see him before her wedding) even though, by all accounts, he has foresaken us on what feels like a series of whims. Then, he kills our brother in law (he never gives me an explanation or excuse.) Then, when I and everyone he's pissed off confront him, he gets our sister killed, goes crazy, and is torn apart by his own ghosts. Somehow 13 years later after picking up all the pieces he left behind and raising the nephew he orphaned and rebuilding the sect he abandoned (alone) I am simultaneously expected to be remorseful for not being grateful to him all these years for something I never asked him to do or knew about, and which I was actively tricked into and repeatedly lied to about. In the adaptations where I don't immediately fall on my sword and punish myself in the epilogue (seclusion in CQL the donghua) the fanbase determines I am a terrible horrible person for it.
This post is also tangentially about Lan Xichen taking the heat for JGY's actions even in MXTX's writing (abandoned by LWJ at the height of his pain, entering seclusion.)
#anyway I have a lot of Feelings about how JC is expected to prostrate himself to receive forgiveness#specifically with regard to how he 'wronged wwx' who did so much for him#even though he is actively living in an entirely different world/perspective than wwx where wwx didn't do shit#and actively caused him so so many problems so many times#and he was the one repeatedly giving up his safety to protect him#like I totally understand why wwx thought that was the best way to handle things its very in character#but that doesn't mean he was right#and it is in fact BOTH of them that needed to do things differently if things were to work out better#it really isn't as simple as 'jc should have trusted him' or 'been there for him' because he did#jiang cheng#mdzs

The LORD said to Moses: Speak to Aaron and his sons and tell them, this is how you shall bless the Israelites. Say to them:
"The LORD bless you and keep you! The LORD let His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you! The LORD look upon you kindly and give you peace!"
So shall they invoke My Name upon the Israelites, and I will bless them.
the Book of Numbers (6:22-27)
Peace: the Hebrew word Shalom [שָׁלֽוֹם] includes the idea of happiness, good health, prosperity, friendship, and general well-being. The use of this term as a greeting was to pray for all these things upon the one greeted.
the commentary for Numbers 6:26 given in the New American Bible, Revised Edition translation.
Almost identical forms of this blessing were found on two silver plaques in a tomb near Jerusalem, dating to the late 7th or early 6th century BCE. Each line, with God as subject, is progressively longer (three, five, seven Hebrew words). Perhaps the second verb in each case defines the first more specifically; together the six verbs cover God's benevolent activity from various angles and state God's gracious will for Israel. To bless signifies any divine gift that serves the life and well-being of individuals and communities. To keep is a specific blessing to those with safety concerns, focusing on God's protection from all kinds of evil (cf. Ps 121.7-9). The shining face of God (contrasting the hiding face) signifies God's benevolent disposition (cf. Ps 67.1). Lift up his countenance ["look upon you kindly," above] signifies a favorable movement toward the other in granting peace, that is, wholeness and fullness of life.
the commentary for this passage in the New Oxford Annotated Bible, Fourth Edition.
[Hugo] Grotius observes that they pronounced them aloud, standing, with their hands lifted up.
George Leo Hadydock's commentary.
This blessing is sometimes called the blessing of Saint Francis, for he recommended this greeting to his followers.
Rev. Jude Winkler, O.F.M. Conv.'s commentary.

"Don't let any emotional thought concerning success or failure, fame or gain, overtake you, and don't dwell upon them.
Give up your personal shortcomings, such as foolish talk, distracting activities, and absentmindedness.
