Or aka, my guess as to what I think (???) happened at the end of brick-by-brick. Way too long theory ramblings below:

So we only have the audios and transcript to go by, but for me, it seems like Poppy momentarily became hyper aware of her surroundings, and is now openly addressing both the literal stage/props/backdrops for the shoot and even the cast members of the show.

She questions where she is, not recognizing the stage as her barn, and the transcripts don't specify who she's talking to, even though they sounds awfully familiar to Sally and Frank.

So trying to visualize what's happening, I sort of imagined Poppy understandably freaking out over the person trying to open the door, her pushing herself towards the window to make distance, and accidentally knocking down the bricks, causing one of the ??? to exasperatedly ask why she hadn't just opened the door (though honestly something completely different could be happening).

Either way, this just brings on a whole new set of questions. At what point does the puppet world and the real world mesh together, if that is what's happening? What is happening to the puppeteers of the puppets that do suddenly gain this awareness, at least during that moment? Does this mean that the Looky-Loo storybook series are based on actual episodes of the show, otherwise how else did we getting a recording of between a physical puppet and cast members, if this is just happening within a book? You know what I mean???

something that i haven’t heard a single person talk about yet is what it would’ve been like for five to come over to diego and lila’s house for the first time and meet her parents

could you actually imagine. my god

this tortured, tired old man who had no choice but to point and shoot whoever he was told to if he wanted to save the lives of the only people he ever loved. the guilt-ridden image of this dead couple probably having rotted and tortured him for years and years following.

knowing that their four year-old child was hiding from him in fear as he pulled the trigger. and then seeing them face to face after so many years.

could you imagine the horror behind his gaze when he shook her mom and dad’s hands and had to pretend he didn’t know what they looked like lying at his feet with the life spilling out of their eyes

Put on your classiest pair of stretchy pants, and meet me at JFK. We're going to spend a month eating our way through Italy. All the Nia haters are wild like dang, just say you hate boundaries and move on or whatever. Like my siblings in christ, our Crowny quite literally blacks out and loses control in fits of VIOLENCE!!! We can’t even stop ourselves if we try??? That is concerning???

Also…it is from Crowny’s perspective and we are not reliable narrators y’all 💀 We clearly are not stable, but it’s kinda obvious (for my Crowny) that we’ve got severe self-esteem issues which definitely colors how my Crowny interprets things. It’s so very clear that Nia cares (the extent varies), especially if you’re trying to romance her.

Not to mention we’re in high school, they’ve all seen at least two dead bodies (Crowny has seen more, admittedly), and that’s a little terrifying. Nia has ever right to be scared and upset and furious at us. I, for one, would love the opportunity to grovel in the next chapter & let my Crowny explain that Nia is still the center of their universe.

(This is such an amazing story! Nia is my favorite and I could right essays on her and Crowny’s dynamic!!! I am so normal about Nia Mir!!!!!)

But yeah my thing is that there is hardly anyone in this story who is entirely evil or entirely good and dividing them up like that misses the point of the story. Like I would like to hear some theories as to why Nia who loved birdie so much (as friends or potential romance), would do this? Was it over night? Was she always planning on doing this? What was the definitive moment that set her off? Did she feel Orla’s death and Crowny’s subsequent institutionalization was a godsend to get rid of them?

Ok that whole bit of Antoine being ‘kind’ in his age broke me, absolutely insane how Arthur twisted his (frankly, quite negative) views on cultists to give Antoine something that would give him peace in the end while still having a thread of sincerity to his words.

Now can they PLEASE look at his chest!!! They kept on saying it’s in the chest it’s in the chest, it can be a play on word! Not to mention the amount of times Antoine has outwardly scratched it

Okay some theories I have are plausible, some outlandish.

I don't have a solid idea as to why Darius isn't wearing his necklace, but my working theory is that part of the tragedy caused him to lose his necklace, and so the only other way to keep his father close was by wearing one of his shirts.

Another theory I have knocking about at the moment is that Kenji's story will continue to revolve around his father. The atrociraptors are being mind controlled (laser pointing, extreme obedience) with likely similar technology that season 4 and 5 had going, which would bring back a lot of old scars.

I imagine Kenji would visit his father in prison as well because it was clear that, despite his dad being evil, Kenji still had a soft spot for him simply because he was his father.

This theory gets crazy when you start to think that maybe Daniel Kon will be bailed from prison by the same people who are hunting the campers.

I have a feeling the people hunting them are after information about the island and what went on there because that is something all the campers knew and chose to keep a secret.

Daniel seems like the kind of person who would want to seek revenge, and or try and reconnect with Kenji to reel him in again because of what he knows, or the man is fully evil and wants revenge on him as well.

Could this mean that Kenji is the missing camper?

Melissa's note being real and exactly as she said has me a little bit stuck on her adult characterisation.

We have confirmation from the director that her sending the note was her way of starting trouble and trying to escape the life she had bubbled herself into, yet the note very sincerely has her talking about seeking forgiveness and wanting Shauna to do the same.

Kit kit kit Anakin is 21 in the Hunger Games snippet! I'm so curious, what made you decide to extend the age range for the Reaping? Is it still older Obi-Wan? Like Kenobi show era? Or more closer to his ROTS age?

im glad you’re excited for it!! 🤩 I admit, anakins age might drop back to 18/19 before the first chapter gets published on ao3 and details like that get locked in—I’m torn over both their ages, as I like the idea of 18/19 yo anakin getting his way and getting obi-wan because he wants him completely and knows to sink his teeth in when he wants something

But i also like him at 21 because it gives them more time together before anakin’s Games, which gives them more familiarity with one another which I liked writing in yesterday’s snippet—anakin knows him so well, has spent at least the past five years loving him and learning him and obi-wan has allowed him to slowly but surely. I think obi-wan slowly letting his walls down and letting anakin in over a long period of time is in character for this version of him, but that wouldn’t be as possible if anakin’s 18/19

Mostly I need them to go into the arena as an established relationship but I don’t know exactly how established I want them to be (~5 years together vs ~1 or less years together)

So I’m experimenting with anakin’s age still as i try to decide where I want them to fall!!
