The Updated Sherb's Favorite Things List!

since I last filled out this chart for you guys, there's been a couple new Sherbert Versions, so here's an updated chart for you guys! :D

shoutout to Icarus having a desk in the world port. I mean I know they're the desk guy (TM) but I started CACKLING when I saw them at their little desk. like I'm 90% sure that was not a thing when Midas was Quixis. That shit is an Icarus original. (also with headcanons about the world port being somewhat sentient and it just creating a desk for Icarus because as aforementioned they are desk guy TM is fun and silly to me)

Ok so, the fable ship bracket voting poll....

I've said that "Kaleidoscope and Prison Duo need to have a 'we meet again' in the semi final"

Which - one thing lead to another - and I thought it'd be funny if the ships were personified and at voting debates, so our propaganda would be their arguments etc....

So here's my visual on that (basically morphing the two characters designs together)

Here's the versions that I did up to design what they look like...

So as mentioned, to make them, I fused the two characters together.

I'm also taking name suggestions!

So for Kaleidoscope, I gave them long curly white hair with scattered rainbow highlights - in this I tied it up, similar to how Malitae wears it. I gave them Malitaes horns, lots of colourful earrings and some horn rings. I also added a head jewelry pieces, that comes from Midas' circlet. I remember Malitae having "calcite skin" so I made them super pale, almost white, like calcite and some magenta/ purple sclera eyes.

I didn't have much on what Malitae would wear, but in the photo on their wiki, they have a nice, lose hanging piece, so I had Midas' jacket appear lighter and off shoulder - and instead of having a tie-dye gradient look, it's paint splatters. Under shirt that also doesn't cover the shoulders, corset and black pants and boots with a magenta shimmer to them

For Prison Duo - it was actually kinda tricky colour pallets wise - I combined Icarus' jacket with Centross' cloak and made it one of those jackets you hang off the shoulders (not actually put your arms in the sleeves) I shifted the purple in Ics jacket to a more Violet (like Centross' cloak), his amethyst necklace + their pins. Black fingerless gloves and shirt and jeans, also boots with a more Violet tint to them.

I gave them an undercut, the top has a bit more of Icarus' style to the fringe and shaved underneath. Icarus' ear wings, but again the purple shifts more to a Violet. The purple and yellow heterochromia + black sclera. Scruff! I also connected Ics prison scar to Centross' scar across his eye, so it curves around the face.

Small headcanons:

Kaleidoscope is mute and communicates through imagery, text or sign language. Number 1 shit-stirrer, little chaos gremlin.

Prison Duo: bird allegations (but also in the way that "this bird will bite")

This was actually a fun little challenge, so I might do more? For funsies?

Thinking about Icarixis again

Them looking at our world and wondering why people chose to impersonate them,-wear their jacket or make their wings- write about them, appreciate them despite the bad things they did and hold their character as something special to them.

Even just to us we appreciate Icarus’s myth in poetry and art and music and twist it in so many ways that make it something and to them their father names them after a tragedy because they could never live up to a hero’s name could they

hey so I think we skipped over the white part of Icarus's hair in the starbound beginning cutscene way too quickly

sometimes I think about how Icarus s3 house was always meant to be a canvas for quixis- they built it knowing that it would change, they built it with the intention of not getting too attached. But when things started changing they had the same feeling as they'd had the last 2 times, that their house wasn't theirs, that strange feeling of isolation because their house didn't reflect them.

But it doesn't stop there, when their wings glitched (when things got bad with quixis for the first time) the first thing they did was "threaten" to destroy what had changed. The place that they had told themself was "for quixis" was never really for quixis- icarus had told themselves that in preparation for it to start glitching, but they had always wanted their house to be their own, they wanted their things to stay the same...but they never really got that, so they took it out on quixis.

Don't you love it when you start a new minecarft world but you forget to turn off The Fable SMP texture pack and when you defeat the ender dragon instead of the egg spawning RAZA spawns in as like she's a second boss fight
