you’d be infuriated by the sheer amount of stupidity in him for someone so smart. you can’t believe he can’t see what a good thing he’s got with you, so you retaliate. you stop texting him good morning, you stop visiting as often, even going so far as to take back the things you’ve been leaving in his dorm.

or at least you try to. when he realizes you’re taking your comfy clothes out of his dresser he’d grab your arm with a frown and ask “what the fuck are’ya doing?” to which you’d respond with a snappy “oh, fuck off gallagher. friends don’t leave clothes at each other’s places.”

he would huff angrily and grab your chin, pulling you in for a kiss that knocks the breath right out of you. “you’re leavin’ the fuckin’ clothes here. end of discussion.” and when you turn away, crossing your arms and stomping over toward the door he’d pull you back in by your belt loops, pinching your ass playfully. “i’m keepin’ you around, pretty girl. got it?”

you know he’s said it before. and you know, deep down, that he loves you. his head is just all kinds of fucked up, so you put up with this shit day in and day out, because you love him too.
