I'd forgotten how good Theodora's plot and story are, even more so in the first season. It makes you want to replay it so many times. The whole atmosphere, even though it's wartime, gives off a surreal peace and comfort. And the relationship between the characters is very enjoyable to read. I'm glad Arina carried that over to WTC.

I hope she writes more period stories too.

one of my favorite things about theodora is the way arina handled grief - in so many books/movies/shows (etc.) it's become so usual to see mcs being sad and miss the existence of their dead friends/family members/significant others for a scene and a half and move on with their lives surprisingly quickly, yet theodora, despite trying to allow herself to heal and move on, continues to have flashbacks of her life in himworde throughout all the seasons like yes!!! continuing to live for over a century doesn't erase the feelings and memories she has!! they still have the power to make her feel some type of way and i think that's so beautiful and meaningful
