So I have a question on how you draw certain aspects of things. The oily surface of the stain and the pixelated glitches. How are you able to make them look so detailed and layered like that?

well I'd like to say it's all my handy work but there's no way I can to that all by myself. <:]

I have a stain mark brush and glitch brushes I've found in Clip material shop! you will be surprise what you can find in the brush archive and how it makes the process so easier!

i spent a good 2 days giggling about this to friends. i cant tell if ur a curious caps fan, a person who knows me from my other teams, a disgruntled kings fan (i’ve mostly ruled this out because im pretty sure i know all of the active ones on here) or WHAT. but i’m laughing. the tone of this ask is hilarious and vaguely accusatory but i will take it in good faith and answer <3 tl;dr yes and no. he’s better than people think he is rn, but he’s likely never going to live up to the potential of his tools unless something . idk. recalibrates his entire being. who knows!

i was working on something longer and more complex but i thought about it for more than 5 seconds and i REFUSE to go hockey-bro mode and pull out the microstats and i don’t wanna make this into a full on PLD manifesto. so. caps girlies (gn) HERE are your adoption papers under the cut!

if you are looking at pierre luc dubois who is 6’4 + 220lb and thinking “Oh he’s a power forward” i have to inform you he is in fact THEEE smallest mouse to ever play hockey in the whole world and in all of history. he sips nectar out of a thimble and sleeps curled up in a match box and goes fishing in a boat made from nutshells and twigs . he’s big, but he sort of plays small.

this is not necessarily a bad thing — he relies on foot speed and skill over hitting.

he can throw hits but prefers to stick check. he leverages his big frame to guard the puck and to defend, and it makes him simultaneously VERY effective and very much what i like to call a Nexus Of Crime. he is either drawing ten thousand penalties because people have to do something to stop him from driving the net with speed OR he is taking ten thousand penalties because he gets eager in the corners.

PLUS he’s huge and refs do just assume he’s committing a crime when they can’t see what’s going on <3 hence, Nexus Of Crime! if there’s a penalty he’s probably involved LMAO

not a “dirty” player by any means. not physical unless he decides he wants to. and there is no violence inside of him unless he’s deeply horsebonded to his team <- IMPORTANT re; playoffs aspirations. you won’t see him put himself on the line simply for the love of the game, he HAS to be committed to the team.

to be committed to his team… i’m honestly not sure what that takes. i’d guess a combination of knowing his role on the ice and in the locker room (this was very unclear on lak) consistency of messaging from coaches (also seemed to be an issue on lak)

i know nothing about caps coaching or management or the team vibes but i’m sure you can fix him <3 i’m ready to fall in love and ride this team to the sunset

this failhorse will NOT shoot the puck and if he does it will be the saddest soggiest most pathetic shot you’ve ever seen. you will tear your hair out in chunks if you watch him expecting an elite goalscorer.

he’s a pass-first guy. likes to drop pass! likes to drive play from the middle but is also capable of getting pucks off the boards. he needs a finisher on his wing. i could pull up stats here, there are stats to be pulled up, but i know this in my HEART from watching dozens of kings games: he would have had 10-15 more points easily if he wasn’t stapled to the 3rd line and had better finishers. many times i watched him tee up a very good opportunity only for his guy to miss the net or fan or just get knocked off the puck

individually, he thrives in front of the net. his ass is fat and he’s about to use it to screen the goalie. hes good at catching loose pucks in the crease to send them home <3 see his performance at worlds. he scored basically all of his goals right up there!!

most media coverage/narratives will tell you his point production dropped off bc of effort (which is true) but even the MOST resentful kings watchers will say pld wasn’t given his best shot playing with inexperienced+fringe nhlers, being line shuffled the moment he got a bit comfortable, and also not getting ANY net front time on the lak pp. i factor this into all my judgements of his performance.

He’s def earned his diva rep LMAO!! this is personal opinion here but he seems like a sensitive and easily rattled little clam… like he will have a couple of bad shifts and if there’s nobody there to shake him out of it he’ll lose his grasp on the game and play like shit <3 a rolling joke on kingstwt was figuring out which PLD we were getting that game, and you could tell by his 5th if he was switched on or off!!

they hate him for this but EYE think this is nothing new for athletes and if he can consistently stay in the zone he’ll probably be pretty good. mental fortitude of a wet tissue my beloved….

moving onto the Vibes section!! he was always good humoured in media availability and didn’t shy away from scrums even when public opinion soured against him and critiques of both his hockey and his character had reached a fever pitch. i like this about him. he always gave authentic answers and tried his best to accomodate them, and never hid behind his captains.

he gets along quite well with teammates despite the narratives. no seriously!! some of the the kings had a hang out during off-season right before they went to worlds!! there’s bisexual lighting!!!!

there’s interviews from old jets teammates that are just like. “he used to turn up at my house with his dog and text IM HERE with no warning and that’s how we became friends” or “his obsession with euro soccer teams bewitched me”. he had control of the aux cord. he was a den mother and planned group gatherings. a genuine sweetheart to every teammate he’s ever had!!

I don’t think he’s some. idk. secret 100 point producing star 1C. but i truly believe with the right environment he’ll probably hit 60 points again.

Your art and enthusiasm for it got me to watch the Cherry Magic anime. The anime left me feeling a little hungry because it felt like they left off some of the meat so I read the manga. I'm now caught up with the entire official manga release and I NEED MORE HOW MUCH LONGER MUST I WAIT THIS IS TORTURE.

if ur caught up on the english release of the manga, the next volume (vol12) is releasing in september, and for the anime we'll be getting news on the movie next month (with the movie itself probably coming out sometime in autumn) !! if u want more cherry magic content in the meanwhile i highly recommend the jdrama and the radio drama (<- not biased at all or anything)

okay so admittedly i haven't talked a lot about the details of rd werewolf au (especially about Inny and what role they end up playing in it, since they're a robot) because part of me wants to keep it a secret for when i write the rd werewolf au fic, but also,,,,, i hit a roadblock in the story outline, so i haven't started writing proper yet. i don't have an ending currently in mind and that's like the important part to me.

but obviously i wanna talk abt this cause it's my special interest so i'll chat a bit about it! rd werewolf au spoilers under the cut!

i'm currently in the process of preparing a proper masterpost for rd werewolf au so this'll be shown in that as well. however!

this is a rough timeline of how things go! Nicole and Inny are both infected by Cole on the same night, though they were both on accident.

Inny specifically was trying to treat Cole's heart because it was going into overdrive, and they were instructed to operate on him. but, well, since his heart was suddenly a lot bigger, the rhythm defibrillator needed a lot more juice, and... oops.

they were able to understand cole after they recovered, though, so they were able to communicate with cole and calm him down.

as for what inny would look like, well...

they can't turn into a werewolf - their entire body is cybernetic, after all - so they're struck with this feeling that their body isn't right.

Ascended Sally au: Sally has ascended and trying to force help the others ascend too, unfortunately they won't let her help them. They keep locking themselves inside their houses during the night and don't go into the forest anymore, but that's ok she will find a way to help them ascend too. The others are try to find a way to bring Sally back to normal but they’re running out of hope.

YES you can I glad you like him 🥹 I will gladly talk about him. Unfortunately a lot of his story is about his mom being emotionally abusive, so take that in mind.

Due to the way he was raised(or rather the way he was not raised, he was very much neglected most of the time by his mom, he had many emotionally distant nannies)he has terrible self esteem issues. He’s been told his whole life that he will grow up into a monster. But that didn’t really set in for him until he was like 4-5~ish years old. He found an injured bird in his garden, it only having a sprained wing. It would likely have been fine, but young Ganon wanted to help it. But as he approached it, the bird looked at him and immediately died. His mother told him that the bird died because it could sense the evil within him, and died from the shock of how evil he was. Ganon cried a lot that day.

Sheerow-and other animals from Lorule-are not afraid of him. Sheerow is a very nice and playful bird, and Ganon loves spending time with it. When he first met it, he was terrified of how not scared the bird was of him. He thought the bird was also evil for a moment. But with how playful and cute Sheerow acted, Ganon knew that couldn’t be the case. When he first petted the bird, he almost cried, the only reason he didn’t was because he heard Ravio crashing down onto the ground after scaling the garden wall.

Ravio’s also very kind to him, which is an entirely new experience for Ganon. His mom acts nice to him, but even though Ganon is quite young, he quickly picked up on how scared his own mother was of him. Ravio wasn’t scared at all, generally very nice and cheerful. He even showed Ganon a few magic tricks, explaining how he did a few tricks as well. Ravio quickly got dragged away though by the guards thrown right into the prison along with his bird. Ganon was crying the whole time that happened, because he had never been as happy as he was with the short time they were together.

His mother scolded him about interacting with a stranger, talking about how “evil” that man and his bird was. This was also the first time Ganon talked back to his mother, although that was very short lived as his mother kept saying how evil her own son was right to his face. Then a few guards rushed in, Ravio and Sheerow in tow, quickly showing off the Triforce on his hand to them. Rav hurriedly explains about himself, Lorule, and how he needs to find the hero and save the world.

Blah blah blah, more stuff happens and now Ravio is tagging along with Ganon and his mom to Hyrule Castle. Fortunately or not, Ganon’s mom(I need to come up with a name for her someday)doesn’t want to spend much time with her son, so she just leave him in Ravio’s care. He’s the counterpart of the hero, it’ll be fine. And it is! Ganon has never been happier hanging out with Ravio and Sheerow. When they finally get to the castle, Ganon has the puffiest eyes(from all the crying, it’s been a very emotional time for him), and a new father/big brother figure in the form of Ravio.

Uhh more stuff, Ganon has no idea how to fight, he know some very basic techniques from watching some of the warriors train. He would climb up one of the sides of his garden wall just to watch them. He thinks they’re cool. He also has magic but wasn’t allowed to use or practice it, for fearing that he’ll “use them for evil.” He’s very scared of his powers because of this, and is also weary of magic in general. Also his favorite animal is a donkey. He never seen one before, but he heard about how strong and helpful they are despite their small stature-compared to horses-and he kinda looks up to them a bit. He also thinks they are very cute. He wouldn’t be able to ride or interact with one, since Hyrulian animals fear him, but donkeys do exist in Lorule. So if he ever went to Lorule(and this would happen in like the later parts of the story)he would insist upon finding a donkey. Ganon also gains more confidence and self worth as the story goes on.

How they met

Zachariah had lost his memories through the poisoning by Phaesus/Disa. So when he was asked to summon his Pawn, it was more an amalgamation of traits he was thinking of, rather than a specific person, since he didn't remember anyone from his prior life.

He knew he was good with a bow, so he would need someone to keep enemies away from him. A brave knight in shining armor, who would not shy away from jumping into the fray. But who would also share his values and have a compassionate heart. ...And someone who would put up with his quirks.

Subconsciously, he was also hoping that his pawn would be easy on the eyes, naturally.

And thus Wyd appeared. A brave front-line fighter, who doesn't fear any foe. A pawn with a blunt and cocky nature, but also a desire to help and teach others. And who's an absolute softy in romance, but they won't discover that until the bestowal of spirit happened...

How they spend their off time

Often by working towards their survival. If not actively hunting for food or setting up camp, Wyd makes sure their weapons are in top shape and hammers out the dents from their armor. Zachariah meanwhile mends their torn clothes and patches up any rips or holes in their bedrolls and tents (yes he sews, and well! He can also knit, and he doesn't know why). If everything is up to snuff, Zachariah reads. He always has at least one book in his pack - preferably one he doesn't know yet.

And at some point Wyd asked him what he's reading and it developed into Zachariah reading the books to him.

Wyd would never admit it, but it's his favorite thing in the world. He loves listening to his Arisen's voice (even before the bestowal), and he does find the books interesting. For all his bluster, he can't actually read himself - which he would also never admit. So this is the only way for him to experience the wondrous world of books.

This, and the fact that Zachariah lost his memory, is also why Wyd will prompt others to share stories when traveling together.

They also both enjoy fishing together, even if they don't necessarily need the food - though they often use "I'm tired of dried meat, let's catch a fish for dinner" as an excuse for some quality time.

Post-bestowal they still do those things, but with more cuddling and leaning against each other. And also just lying in the grass in each other's arms, watching the clouds go by, and whispering sweet nothings to each other. And Zachariah likes to dance for Wyd, while wearing something provocative. Wyd chides the Arisen nonstop for being horribly inappropriate, but he loves every second of it. Which he would, of course, also never admit.
