Rgb led panel light
Tumblr media
The final product delivers a fully illuminated glow that is guaranteed even-lit. We are the only US-based manufacturer that utilizes laser technologies to produce a brighter in design LED light panel. This is where the name “RGB Light Guide Panel” comes from.įor over 30+ years Lightpanel has manufactured custom RGB LED light panels. This optimized pattern acts as channels that guide the LED light rays to evenly shine through the panel. This form of mounting acts as thermal management for the LEDs while adding protection to the LEDs.Īcross the surface of the acrylic is a laser engraved dot-matrix pattern. On the edges of the RGB LED light panels, Tier 1 ANSI Binned LEDs get mounted using an aluminum J-Channel. When using lasers, the acrylic edges are left with a polished finish that allows for total LED shine through once the LEDs are mounted. To cut the acrylic laser cutting machines are utilized to perfectly cut the panels. This form of acrylic is extremely durable, impact resistant and is totally translucent allowing for the LEDs to perfectly shine through. RGB LED light panels starts with optical grade acrylic. How is a RGB LED Light Panel manufactured? Some models allow for basic color options while others support virtually any number of color options. When it comes to DMX color output controllers you will want to look into the options to select the correct model that best reflects your RGB lighting needs. An example of this is using the DMX color output to create a crisp white light from the RGB LED light panel, then using the controller you can add a bluish beam to change the rooms lighting for a cozier ambiance. The ability to change the RGB LED light panels colors allows users to change lighting colors by adjusting the red, green, blue, and white LEDs. This color control allows for maximum flexibility that is consistently radiant. Using a DMX color output controller you can easily adjust the color of RGB LED light panels to meet the exact hue and mood you’re looking to create. Are available in any color temperature and dimmer controls can be added.LED strips can be added to one, dual or all four sides for maximum brightness.Utilize no hazardous lead or mercury making them environmentally friendly.LEDs use 50% less energy when compared to standard lights.RGB LED light panels are specially designed to deliver ultra-bright illumination that is 100% evenly distributed.īecause RGB LED light panels are highly energy efficient, can be custom cut to custom specifications, and deliver a long lasting life of 70,000 hours of usage both commercial and residential application are turning to LED light panels to create the perfect ambient. RGB LED Light Panels are one of today’s most popular forms of RGB lighting.

Ram: Corsair Dominator 64gb 5600
Mobo: Maxsun Terminator Z790 D5 wifi
Hard drives M.2: Samsung 990 pro 2tb, Samsung 970 evo plus 1tb, CT 1tb,                                 Adata 500gb
PSU: ROG Thor 850 P2
Cables: Cablemod.com custom shortened and sleeved
Water loop distro : EKWB FLT 120 reservoir + D5 pump
Water loop cpu block: ThermalTake Pacific Mx2 Ultra
Water loop radiators: Alphacool HPE 20 x 2
Water loop hardware: 15 Alphacool, 3 EKWB, 2 Alphacool soft, 2 granzon
Water loop tubes: EKWB Acrylic tube 14mm, Alphacool 13/10 soft
Air Cooling : ThermalTake Toughfan 120mm x 3  + Controller
Air Cooling : Noctua 40mm pwm server fan x 2 (non visible)
Additional RGB Control : Coolermaster controller
Case:
Lian Li PC V600, left side mount, released in 2006, I acquired it in 2015 from PC Recycle in sodo Seattle.
I had to track down a new foot, one had been missing since I acquired the case (ebay)
Mods:These are the case mods I did personally
Cut a hole for the cpu mounts in the Motherboard mount plate as this case was designed for older hardware
Cut two 120mm blowholes and added aluminum covers (Dremel)
Cut Front and rear windows into side panels (Dremel Max)
Moved PSU from vertical placement in the lower right side of the case in front of the CPU  to horizontal placement in the top left in old drive bays.
The PSU bracket had to be cut to show the OLED on the side.
Modded the side panel rail slide to accommodate the PSU, I used the original aluminum stand the psu was on, cut in half and epoxied with JB weld.
Changed and moved Power/ Reset switch to the back of the case, shortened and spliced the cable
I cut and bent my own 14mm acrylic tubes (hobby miter, heat gun).
Cut and made two way mirror for the front panel
Plastic "truss" is both functional and aesthetic. It came from a Gunpla accessory kit and has two cables passing through it and it acts as the GPU support. I could only get red and had to paint it.
Notice that some logos are missing/ covered, I dislike having a case as an advertisement. The Rog eye on the PSU is mostly covered but iykyk, most of the word "Intel" on the ARC GPU, Two of the Thermaltake logos on the fan edges, the Paint on the Thermaltake Mx2 Ultra and Maxsun terminator heatsink. (I will eventually cover the visible SSD with a heat sink, cover the fan info on the rear and work a cover for the word "dominator"). the one logo explicitly unchanged is the LianLi case badge, if I think of a perfect replacement, maybe then.
Mod I did not do:
I did NOT shorten and sleeve my own cables, I used cable-mod.com. I am not confident in my ability to do this.
BAR:
"Bar Tiny" Re-ment sets from Japan, 17 sets involved.
I customized the color of the bar and chairs and shortened one table for the mezzanine. The whole bar, minus barback- is on a removable 7 inch piece of black acrylic for cleaning.
Jill Stingray Nendoroid
Jils Cat, it sleeps on the GPU
Jill Stool: Jill is glued to a cute doll stool to see over the bar
Jill Accessories non-Nendoroid: cellphone, purse, coat (ebay)
Dorothy Haze Nendoroid
will be added on release.
Bar Back:I made this myself
Black acrylic sheet, and frosted acrylic rods.
Doll Light power kit: 8 Led lights, 4 incandescent lights
USB Doll light power strip
Other Bar Accessories:
Overhead Hanging farmhouse light
trash, mop, broom, pan, mop bucket,
2 blue fuzzy chairs
Miniature plants
Miniature Microphone
Mini bottle Dom Perignon, an xmas gift from my friend nemo, it's
 on the top shelf
Problems and changes:
1. ARGB, pretty pretty pain in the ass. 4 pieces of software........
2. The water loop was changed extensively as hardware came in and space limitations were discovered. The biggest change is that I originally planned to have one radiator on the front of the case, the tubes running over Jills head and to light the tubes as lighting for the bar, to do this the fan would have been in the case proper pushing the whole bar to far into the mobo, it didn't work, so the loop was moved to the top of the case and caused me to have one complex bent tube
Second, I had planned the loop to use one sideport on the distro, but space limitation moved both ports to the top causing the complex fittings setup in that corner.
3. The MOBO, sigh. This has been clearly the most challenging choice I made in this build, I really wanted it to work perfectly too, but I rolled those dice because: Aesthetic+function, the board I wanted (https://en.colorful.cn/en/home/product?mid=84&id=400d19bc-5655-49e1-b391-df00b60935ef) was to great a risk for the cost. This was a silver medal.
I generally dislike the design options I had in the Z790 series of the big board makers (I  HATE big logos), especially the full ATX, there was one M that interested me, I should have picked it . This board has potential, but the BIOS is underdeveloped and compatibility has been problematic, I had to do a tricky outdated style BIOS update right from the box, and have had to reset the cmos a couple times. It skips BIOS on general boot and though stable, it will have to be addressed eventually, it doesn't have a proper sleep because of some issue between uefi & legacy. It may end up replaced, which will require a full build teardown.
the Turbo fan built into the board doesn't seem to function
Alos, the two argb connections on the mobo dont work, or I can't get them to recognize anything, necessitating the Coolermaster controller for the PSU and Distro. it is shoved behind the distro along with a Noctua 40mm

ASUS Introduces TUF Gaming TR120 ARGB Chassis Fans
Tumblr media
ASUS made the announcement that they will be releasing TUF Gaming TR120 ARGB case fans. These fans provide great airflow and polished looks from your perspective.
Cooling that is excellent for every building
The cooling capacity of the TUF Gaming TR120 ARGB fans has been improved with next-generation enhancements. The fan blades have been rebuilt to be extra-wide, and they are now housed in a frame that is 28 millimetres thick, which is up to 12 percent thicker than the previous version. Both the airflow and the static pressure can be increased by up to 3.3 mmH2O and 77.4 CFM, respectively, when these factors are combined. These 120 mm fans ensure that a construct receives the consistent flow of cooling air that it need when it is subjected to a demanding workload.
Not only are the TUF Gaming TR120 ARGB case fans designed to operate quietly, but they are also designed to perform exceptionally well. They generate a maximum of 29 decibels of acoustic noise. In the midst of the conflict, it is quite improbable that users will hear them at all.
Refined appearances from any vantage point
Users are only able to see the sides and rear of typical case fans when they are utilised as intakes in a panoramic chassis. This means that the fans are not always presented in the most advantageous manner. This means that components like as structural supports, wiring, and visible parts of the motor are given the front-and-center treatment rather than RGB LED illumination and any decorations that are facing the front of the device.
In order to address this issue, the TUF Gaming TR120 ARGB fans are offered in two different editions: the basic version and the reverse-airflow edition. Therefore, when consumers glance inside their chassis, they will see the front side of the fan regardless of whether they are bringing in cool air or escorting warm air out. This is because the fan face is always facing front.
Although there are several competitors that produce reverse-airflow fans that address aesthetic problems, the airflow performance of these fans is much lower than that of their standard-airflow counterparts. The reverse-airflow TUF Gaming TR120 ARGB fans, on the other hand, have a static pressure of 2.75 mmH2O and an airflow of 76.3 CFM. This allows them to maintain a significant portion of the cooling power that their standard-airflow counterparts have.
Illumination that may be changed on all sides
The TUF Gaming TR120 ARGB fans are a natural choice for panoramic projects or for any personal computer that provides more than a glance of its case fans. This is because their aesthetic look has been updated. To further enhance the ARGB lighting effects, an 8+8 double-layer LED array has been installed. This array distributes light uniformly throughout all of the fan blades and the frame.
As a result of the fact that numerous chassis installation points show off the sides of a case fan, the TR120 ARGB extends the lightshow to the sides as well. This is accomplished through the use of translucent panels that surround the frame. The diverse patterns on each side interact in eye-catching ways, depending on how users line them up with adjacent fans, which provides a fun way to personalise a personal computer.
A style that is both serious and cool
Whether you are constructing a personal computer in a panoramic chassis, which requires a fleet of high-performance fans that are both eye-catching and high-performance, or you are simply outfitting a normal personal computer with ARGB fans that give fantastic airflow and static pressure, the new TUF Gaming TR120 ARGB fans are ready to go.
TUF Gaming TR120 ARGB chassis fan features high static pressure and airflow performance with personalized lighting
Higher cooling performance with an extra-thick 28mm fan frame
Class-leading static pressure at 3.3 mmH2O with high airflow
Exclusive double-layer LED Matrix design with individual 16 Addressable RGB LEDs
Personalized aesthetics with a flexible side pattern on the frame
PWM control with an ultra-wide RPM range that allows optimal cooling for all types of workloads
Aura Sync compatibility that lets you coordinate colors and lighting effects with a huge range of hardware
Available in black and white and in standard and reverse orientation to suit a variety of PC builds
FAQS
Are there standard and reverse airflow models?
Yes, to accommodate varying cooling requirements in your PC system, the TR120 ARGB Fan is available in both conventional and reverse airflow types.
Does the TR120 ARGB Fan come with an ARGB controller?
No, the fan alone is all that is included in the single pack edition. There is a different product called the triple fan kit with controller.

date: June 22, 2022 caption: new lights! project: The Smuppet Show
I got new lights for this project ($250 for a pair of LED light panels! so fancy! they have adjustable color and adjustable intensity! they come with adjustable stands!) and it took a while for me to adapt. I am so glad I upgraded, though; it was well worth it in the end.
A bit of unpaid promotion: I recommend B&H Photo if you are looking to buy any sort of camera-related equipment online. They have been a good place to shop over the years and I generally find the comments and reviews on items really educational. I'm not much of a gearhead when it comes to camera stuff, so I don't continuously follow the latest and greatest tech developments. But I do occasionally want to upgrade and poking around the reviews for a couple hours usually helps me narrow down my options. I want to end up somewhere in the serious amateur tier, somewhere comfortably in between the "I do this for a living" or "I'm a bleeding edge collector of gadgets" tiers and the "absolute entry level fully automatic no learning curve" tier. It can take a while to figure out where that line is - it's constantly shifting!
For Theatre of Coolty I shot only at night and used gigantic fluorescent lights. My setup was two 6 foot wide kitchen light fixtures strapped to 6 foot high step ladders and wired up to long extension cords. They served me well over the years for doing portrait photos but weren't easy to move around and had no ability to be anything but intensely bright; they were also optimized for people-sized photos, not barbie-sized video. Mr Bee built them for me (2002? 2003? ... sometime around then ... thanks, Mr Bee!!). I'd been wistfully looking at "real" video lighting rigs but back then everything I could find was a couple thousand dollars minimum and I was not willing to spend that kind of money for a hobby project. We already had the step ladders; the light fixtures and wires and other hardware added up to not much more than $100. It was a good setup!
For Detective Pony I started out with the big lights and used those for all the "original" Jeanne Betancourt filming in 2017. But the lights had seen a lot of hard use at that point and were starting to fall apart. By the end there I think I was down to one light propped up on a couch - when I wanted to re-direct the light I had to move the whole couch!
When I started filming the edited-in Dirk Strider scenes, I used a lot of natural light (the room I was working in had a big sliding glass door that let in lots of light) supplemented by some random floor lamps with random light bulbs. I struggled a lot with keeping color consistent from shot to shot because although the scene looked fine to my eye, the camera revealed that every angle was a different combination of random color temperature light. I could tell I was having problems, but at the time I just thought I was bad at white balancing. Live and learn!
In 2022 I bought new LED lights, using The Smuppet Show as my excuse to finally upgrade. I was so excited - the lights immediately fixed my color temperature issues and I stopped needing to fiddle with white balance for 5 minutes before every new shot. However, I got a little bit too complacent about lighting and got out of the habit of really paying attention to the lighting setup much at all. As a result a lot of the early scenes were either too dark or too grainy (a result of the camera trying to compensate for the lack of light). I eventually got better at catching that and adjusting, but it was rough for a while. Always an adventure!

Full Array vs. Mini LEDs: The Differences, and Their Uses
WhatsApp & Wechat: +86 18038197291
www.xygledscreen.com
Light is essential in our lives. It helps us see in the dark, draws attention to important things in our world, and, when it comes to electronics, provides a sense of comfort that something's on and, more importantly, functions correctly. Without light, life would be nothing short of difficult.
As we continue to integrate computer screens into our lives more and more, ensuring they're well-lit is crucial, whether those screens are just for entertainment or if they'll be crucial to a work field or industry.
However, lighting a screen isn't a simple matter of just having the screen make light; there's a lot at play with each screen. Each screen is lit up with an array of light-emitting diodes, also known as LEDs.
The Basics of LED Light
There are a few different ways LED lights can light a screen, but they all work off the basic principle of backlighting. Inside any backlit device, a number of tiny diodes arranged in a pattern sit behind the screen. The diodes each represent one of three colors: red, blue, and green. In addition, each diode can adjust its brightness. Different combinations of brightness allow the LEDs to mix colors and produce hues beyond the standard RGB.
An interface connects the LEDs to the screen, telling the diodes what will be on the screen at each diode's location. The diodes then use this data to determine how bright each LED in the pattern should be. While the specifics differ depending on the backlighting method, all these lights come together to illuminate the screen's pixels and produce a vibrant image.
What Kinds of Backlighting Configurations Are There?
Several backlighting configurations exist. However, the majority of LED screens use one of three popular methods to accomplish the task of screen lighting.

With a full array backlight, a grid of lights across the screen's area provides complete lighting coverage. Each zone of the grid can be dimmed or brightened depending on the brightness of the screen image's corresponding area, allowing shadows to contrast nicely against light.
Direct-lit
Direct-lit backlights utilize LED lights spread out across the screen, similar to a full array. However, there are fewer lights in a direct-lit than in a full array, and rather than having individually dimmable zones, their lighting is uniform, resulting in evenly lit images. While shadows might not be as deep and rich, they still produce a desirable image.
Edge-lit
Edge-lit isn't exactly backlighting, but it is a related process. Edge lighting utilizes LEDs around the area of the screen, lighting it from the edge. The light is then directed down with a special panel and channeled into a diffuser. They offer decent quality at a cheap price and a slimmer size.
LED Differences: Full Array LED vs Mini LED
Backlighting configurations are just some of the things to consider when picking out a screen. It's also important to factor in what kind of LEDs you want to make up your television's backlighting system. The kinds to know are Full Array LEDs and Mini LEDs.
Both diode styles have advantages and drawbacks, and which kind you should choose depends on your personal preferences and planned usage. Below is a summary table, followed by an in-depth look at each feature.

Diode Size
Full Array LEDs come in a variety of sizes, but the ones for LED/LCD screens are around 200 micrometers, slightly thicker than a piece of paper. On the other hand, Mini LEDs are much smaller, at around 100 micrometers.
Array Size
Standard LED-based backlighting arrays are much less densely packed than ones that use Mini LEDs. Between this and the larger size of standard Full Array LEDs, there's less overall coverage.
Peak Brightness
Mini LED lights are capable of a higher overall brightness than Full Array LEDs and even surpass OLED lights in brightness. OLED screens achieve an average peak brightness level of around 800-1000 nits, Full Array averaging between 1000-2000 nits, and Mini LEDs typically sitting at 2000 nits or more, some reaching 5000+ nits.
Dimming Zones
Both styles of LEDs have accurate dimming controls, creating dimming zones that allow both dark and bright portions of an image to contrast and "pop," giving it a stunning, vibrant range of brightness and color. However, Mini LED's smaller, denser nature allows for incredibly precise dimming control, resulting in an incredible dynamic range compared to Full Array LEDs.
Blooming
Unfortunately, both LED styles suffer from blooming, also known as a halo effect. This is when light from a bright object over-spills into areas of darkness, making bright objects on the screen appear highly luminescent when they shouldn't be and, in worst-case scenarios, make shadows look washed-out.
Mini LED screens have a slightly less intense bloom, but unless you're particularly attentive to detail, the blooming on both Mini LED and Full Array LED screens will appear roughly the same.
Price
The final factor to compare is their cost. Mini LED-backlit devices cost more than standard Full Array LED ones because Mini LEDs are a more advanced and specialized technology.
Which One Should You Choose?
While Mini LED screens might seem like the obvious choice, there are times and places where a Full Array LED television would be a better option. It all comes down to where you'll be using it, and what your preferences are.
Reasons to get Full Array
If you're looking for a cheap device, aim for ones that use Full Array or other standard LED lights over Mini LEDs. Even if they might have less precise local dimming, their dimming features are still good and help make your movies and shows look more dynamic.
Furthermore, LED screens come in the broadest range of sizes. Finding especially small or particularly large screens will be far easier than it would be with Mini LED devices.
Full Array LED screens also serve you better than Mini LED screens if you buy them for business use. Not only do their lower price make them ideal for purchasing large quantities for use in places like hotels, hospitals, and convention centers, but Mini LED's benefits are unnoticeable when you're using these devices to display information like medical statistics or financial graphs rather than movies or shows.
Reasons to get Mini LED
For personal use, Mini LEDs are the way to go. They offer excellent contrast and brightness, making them ideal for shows, movies, and video games.
While they don't come in as many sizes as LED screens, they're still available in a nice selection of sizes ideal for most rooms in a house.
If you watch a lot during the bright hours of the day or prefer to watch television with the room's lights on, a Mini LED screen should be your choice. Their superior brightness makes them easier to watch in bright areas.
Conclusion
While Full Array LED televisions are suitable for business use and when you've got a tight budget, Mini LED televisions have several benefits that make them preferable for personal use and are generally better overall.
