An analysis of this song using qRoier's point of view, especially after purgatory:

My interpretation of this phrase is related to qRoier's self-destructive behavior. Him climbing to the top floor of the castle and almost like an instinct, a habit, walking towards the balcony hoping maybe that would be the end, maybe this time he will reach the sky if he jumps...? When in reality, he never left the ground, no matter how many times he tried.

After going through so much emotional exhaustion, feeling alone once again, he can no longer fake a smile. qRoier sometimes loses track of time, as he constantly remembers what happened in purgatory. Just like some people analyzed, it's as if he's still in purgatory, he never left the boat. Tormented by everything that happened after going to that place, he no longer finds peace of mind anywhere. And a small detail that I found interesting about this this verse of the song and qRoier, is the fact that the first scar he got on the island was exactly because of something that went through his chest/back.

There is so much inside qRoier's soul that he hides. Anger, revenge, hatred, desire to kill, desire to die... And deep down he is afraid that other people will see him in a negative way, the same way he sees himself.

There were countless times when qRoier bled, caused by himself or others. He feels lonely, over and over again, is almost a curse and at the same time a certainty, loneliness becomes his company. And at the end of the song, when you listen to it there is a repetition of the last two phrases while the singer shouts in the background "I don't feel lonely I'm already better" and that made me immediately think of qRoier repeating exactly the same words to himself, all the time. He repeats it to himself almost as a desperate way of, at some point, believing it is true. Because in reality, he's feeling lonelier than ever and he's getting worse with every passing second...

I have so many half-thoughts about Ichina. Like, how one of the first things we learn about her is that she actively looked for a powerful player to back. In her first appearance, she abandons Haruka mid sentence to cozy up to a better golfer. In her second, she’s again refusing to engage with Haruka solely because Haruka isn’t a good enough player for her. Frankly, Ichina is brutal towards Haruka. She goes on, in that episode, to bet against Haruka and go out of her way to lobby for and help a rude stranger (who doesn’t want Ichina’s help!) win against her. She gives Haruka last minute advice and when Haruka messes up, Ichina says, and I quote, “It’s Haruka’s fault for not being able to pull it off!”. Ichina proceeds to leave Haruka standing there crying.

It’s kinda funny to me because usually characters like Ichina in kids’ media are portrayed as sly or calculating, and usually it’s portrayed as a bad thing. But I really like that they gave those traits to a protagonist! Ichina is funny and clumsy and endearing and only became friends with Eve on the grounds that Eve is her ticket to success.

I’d love to see how their dynamic has changed since then, if it has at all. Ichina seems to be alarmed by everything about Eve that’s not golf related (her teasing, her flirting, her sleep habits, her general violent demeanor). And while we know Eve does genuinely like Ichina (the comparison to Lily, outright saying that she trusts her), Eve has a tendency to be rude to people she cares about to deflect from her actual feelings, which I’m unsure if Ichina has caught onto yet. They’ve learned to work well on the golf course, but does that translate to a friendship off it? In the latest episode, Ichina says that she would throw everything away to follow Eve, but why? How much of it is a sense of companionship and how much of it is because she’s gambling on Eve leading her to the world of professional golf?

The situation that Eve is leading her into is incredibly precarious in ways Ichina doesn’t realize. There’s a hit out on Eve and they’re being sponsored by an (openly?) crime related company from whom Eve is hiding her identity (well, trying and failing to). Ichina is the only person there Eve trusts and Eve is the only person there Ichina knows. (Last we knew, Ichina doesn’t know English!) So now, they kinda can only rely on each other.

Back at Raiou, Eve had to (at least somewhat) learn how to do things Ichina’s way- school schedules, rigorously ruled games, strategy instead of just raw power, etc. It’ll be interesting to see how they’ll work together on Eve’s home terf, where you make massive gambles and constantly risk everything, up to and including your physical safety.

Nothing would make Eve happier than to compete against Aoi. The girls, on the other hand, will have to wait until the All-Japan Girls' High School Gold Doubles Championship concludes before deciding who is the superior golfer. Eve and Aoi resolve to cooperate in order to secure a victory for the Raiou Girls' Academy golf team as they now compete against one another. Both will need to find an approach to improve their golfing techniques if they want to have a chance of beating their more troublesome opponents. However, this high school golf competition is far more important than it seems because threatening figures are pulling the strings in the background. In addition, Eve's elusive history reappears, further complicating an already difficult situation.

When the Leviantan senate secretly began Project 'Ma', Seth Twiright and several other researchers from the Royal Institute launched an expedition on Merrigod Plateau to capture Meta as a project candidate.[2] On Pale's orders, Meta attempted to kill Seth during the assault,[1] but ultimately Seth was the only researcher to survive the attack.[2] When Pale recruited the Jakokuese refugee Raisa Netsuma into Apocalypse, Meta worked closely with her, although merely being civil with her.[1]

After the attack, Adam Solntse, the head of the royal institute, made an expedition into Held's Forest with Seth to look for the "Witch of the Forest", a new Project 'Ma' candidate. Among other things, Meta took their expedition as an opportunity to exact revenge on Adam and the institute for the attack on Merrigod. While Adam and Seth searched, and while they were attacked by Raisa's White Army, Meta entered the forest with her own army of Red Devotees.

Finding Nemu village, Meta used her power to brainwash the men there and had them crucify and murder the village chief, Raiou Zvezda, as well as having them murder all of the village women. Shortly afterwards, Meta was discovered by Eve Zvezda and Adam Solntse. Following a brief confrontation, Meta departed with her army, including the newly brainwashed village men, when reinforcements from Levianta's capital arrived.[2]

Following the coup orchestrated by Gammon Loop Octopus in the Leviantan government, Apocalypse began to face harsh setbacks as the new senate began cracking down on the organization. As a result, Meta awoke one morning around BT 001 and learned from Raisa that their base in the north had fallen to the Royal Capital Army. Meta quickly ordered her to retake the base using the remains of the White Army and half of her Red Devotees, leaving their fellow Apocalypse head Yegor Asayev to handle their activities in the west.

Shortly after, Meta met with Pale in his room and, among other things, the two discussed the possibility of there being a traitor in their ranks. While Pale planned to lead an attack north in Levianta, Meta was instructed to go enlist Yegor's aid in suppressing Held's Forest before they parted ways.[1]
