Megastars Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan flew to Ayodhya with Dhanush and Abhishek Bachchan, respectively.

Several Indian film fraternity members were in attendance in Ayodhya on January 22 for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ram Mandir. Megastars Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan flew to Ayodhya with Dhanush and Abhishek Bachchan, respectively.

Two videos from the event have gone viral from the event where Prime Minister Narendra was seen greeting the attendees. Videos are circulating online, capturing the moment when PM Modi greets Amitabh Bachchan and Rajinikanth with folded hands after the ceremony. While Rajinikanth attended the event with his wife Latha Rajinikanth and Dhanush, Amitabh was seen with Abhishek Bachchan.

Speaking to ANI at the ceremony, Rajinikanth said, “It was a historic event and I am very fortunate. Will definitely come to Ayodhya every year.”

Yaar honestly I am seeing so many hate posts about building the temple in ayodhya. Why are you all hating on it using baseless reasons. I've seen one that said why can't they build it somewhere else instead of destroying the mosque. MY DUDE WHOEVER SAID THAT ARE YOU EVEN LISTENING TO WHAT YOU ARE SAYING? you can't change the birthplace of lord Rama and build the temple just anywhere you please. The temple existed from even long before people started construction of mosques in this country. I don't know about how mosques are built but for temples there are certain locations, ,certain heights, certain directions, certain timings to consider when building it or opening a temple or doing pran pratistha.

Everytime I see Hindus on Tumblr facing guilt, anxiety and shame and what not when it comes to the reconstruction of the Rama temple 500 years after it was razed by that ruthless Babur— I hear Shri Krishna say, in that one teaching of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita from Chapter 2, verse 3, where he says (to Arjuna) - "Ye napunsakta tumhe shobha nahi deti. Yuddh karna tumhara kartavya hai Pārtha, shashtra uthao!"

क्लैब्यं मा स्म गम: पार्थ नैतत् त्वयि उपपद्यते।

[This impotency doesn't behoove you. Fighting this battle is your duty, O son of Pritha.]

For all we know, the antsy driven Arjuna could have fled the battlefield and claimed that "justice is in our hearts and that Yamadeva would deliver it to us" just like people here are being "Krishna is in our hearts, Rama is in our hearts" and so on. But Krishna urged Arjuna to fight for the constant chain of wrong doings he and his family were subjected to, fight for the kingdom which was a fruit of his valour and hardwork, his brothers' too.

Do not succumb to unmanliness when it comes to protecting what is a heritage, your ancestors' very own faith. Do not let your coming generations' heads down for they will have nothing to hold on to, nothing to cherish, lest you be so merciful to the history of invaders. Babur is not your ancestor, Shri Rama is, and Ayodhya is his birthplace. Not Babur's property.

Remember, there's barely any future without a past.

(I have no one in my life to share this with, feel free to throw this ask away) I’m Jewish and as a kid the only adult to show me unconditional care happened to be a Hindu woman. Among other things she gave me a comicbook version of Ramayana to read. That and her presence in general is one of the few things I remember fondly growing up. Fast forward to over a decade later and I haven’t had any contact with Hindu stuff all but the tumblr stars aligned to end up on your blog somehow and I find out that the temple in Ayodhya is being built. I’m so happy for every Hindu who is celebrating and honestly just happy to see Rama again. I wish many blessings for everyone involved! Thank you to everyone who fights against antisemitism as well!
