Unofficial hub for (almost) all possible crackships present across the Borderlands franchise! We're here to spread love around and share your most obscure crackships imaginable.

First, we want to differentiate crackships and rarepairs so there's no confusion:

CRACKSHIP - a ship between characters who have never met in canon. For example, Maya/Sasha have never interacted in canon, thus making them a crackship

RAREPAIR - an unpopular ship between characters who did meet in canon. For example, Handsome Jack/Krieg, though an unpopular ship, have interacted in canon, thus making them a rarepair

Got it? Now let's get into the rules!

We accept all kinds of ships! No matter if they're wlw, mlm, m/f or ot3s, they're welcome on this blog. Additionally, we also accept platonic relationships, as they will be tagged as #platonic

What we don't allow, are ships which go against characters' canon sexualities. So absolutely not shipping Athena with men or Hammerlock with women

We don't allow ships with underage characters and incestous ships. There are only 2 underage characters in Borderlands (Pickle and Ava), but our experience in fandoms have verified to us that we need to be clearly against it

We are not proshippers and we are against proshipping

As of Borderlands , Tina is an adult (she's 20) but we won't reblog romantic art of her during BL2 or Wonderlands

Gaige is 18 in Borderlands 2 and 25 in Borderlands 3. She's an adult

Angel is also an adult. As infantilization of her is extremaly prevalent in this fandom, we want to state, we're against it and we won't reblog any art which will portray her in such way

We will also not reblog any art that will misgender neither Zer0 nor FL4K. FL4K canonically uses only they/them pronouns and as for Zer0, we will only refer to them as they/them

Ships with Timothy, Rhys and Jack are welcome! But within each other, the only ship that is a crackship is Rhysothy, so we will only reblog them

The only characters who aren't allowed are Vaughn and Katagawa Jr. Just because

Crossover ships, as in from different franchises like Portal or Postal, are welcome!

However, we won't reblog art of OC/canon and self ships. We realize that some people might not like this term and calling their OCs like so and we don't want to be disrespectful. We will only reblog the art, if OP will send it to us and give us permission to post it

This blog will run on queue but we're happy to receive art for this space and discussions of crackships

Monday has a new prompt from the first time around for writers - Fave Headcanon - in an effort to open some prompts up more to your interpretations. Is your favourite headcanon that Andy regains her immortality? Or that Nile has a particular identity? Maybe it’s a headcanon around dating? We hope you’ll find this prompt inspiring!

Many fans have OTPs and BrOTPs, but some are more popular than others. For our second event, POTC Trilogy would like to show appreciation for less popular pairings/dynamics and give them the love they deserve!

What counts as a rarepair?

We consider all pairings with less than 100 works on AO3 as rarepairs. That means that the following are excluded from the event:

Event Rules

This event is open to all Tumblr users and runs from May 3 to May 28! GIFs, graphics, fan art, fanfics, fanvids, and even songs are all welcome! You can make as many entries as you like for as many pairings as you like.

OT3s are welcome, as well as platonic pairings. But no crossover ships with other fandoms and no OCs, and only characters from the original trilogy will be featured.

Only original content allowed. No reposts or modified creations (i.e. the creation was made by another user and you added edits to it).

All content must be 100% hate-free. (No bashing other characters if they get in the way of your ship.)

Include “potctrilogy event 02” anywhere in your post description and use the tag #potctrilogyevent02 for your work to be featured on the blog. (Make sure to put the tag in your first five tags so we can see it.)
